They are AWESOME here!!! Extremely friendly, as well as PROFESSIONAL. Jay has thee BEST customer service he s GREAT!! He was very informative about my vehicle and made sure he kept me in the loop throughout the day about details of the repairs to my vehicle (far as pricing and how long it would take). I would give and everyone over there 10 if I could.

Jay is one of the worst managers, that I ve seen around, not only am I a mechanic myself, but I was returned with a laundry list of garbage that was not true in regards to the vehicle. Terrible service, rude comments, and completely inappropriate behavior when I pointed out to him that the oil leak he found wasn t there prior to the inspection that I had before I left the house that evening. Extremely shady practice and nobody should ever go to him. Please save your money and time.

Redford Auto did an Amazing job working on my car! I was able to get my car in the shop the same day! The work was done quickly and I was back on the road before I knew it! Everyone working there was super professional and Friendly. Definitely made a bad situation, like being without my car, feel much easier! Thank you Guys Keep up the good work! Your CEO should be proud!

I wanna give a huge shout out to the owner of Redford auto Jay!! I brought my car there two days before Christmas this year working with limited fund and he was able to not only help me, but did an excellent job on the work to my vehicle. I highly recommend using him and his mechanics as he has a very reputable auto shop, I will be using his services in the future from here on out. Thank you again for your great service Jay. !!!

These guys fixed multiple things for me, and did it pretty quickly. I thought I was going to have to show up super late to work to get my car fixed in the morning, but I ended up being only 10 minutes late. And I didn t even bring my key for my wheels or whatever, and they still got me taken care of. Everything is working fine again a week or so later. Prices seemed reasonable. Definitely will go back.

I gave this place five stars because, they get you in and out. And they try not to keep your car all day. The service is great and Jay is the star of the show! He explains everything up front and he does not try to pressure you into any repairs. Overall my experience here has been great, I will continue to patronize this business. Keep up the good work guys!!

I have used Redford Auto many times for small and large repairs on the last vehicles I have owned. I have always been treated and charged fairly without any issues. Highly recommend these folks!

Redford Auto for the save!My car needed quite a few engine fixes toward the end of 2023, and although everything was fixed according to the engine light code, something was still off, and the engine light reappeared.But here s why you can trust Redford Auto: their parts and service have a 1-year warranty, and rest assured, they live up to it.When my car broke down late January, they took full responsibility. Jackie herself called me shortly after I informed them the engine died, and she managed to set me up with a tow the day after. Just 3 days later, Joseph from the Redford location contacted me to let me know my car was fixed and I could come pick it up; and boy does it run perfectly :)Shout out to both Jackie and Joseph!You have my utmost appreciation

Had my rear defrost fixed, and they were awesome. Took about an hour ,and they recently fixed my friend rear breaks and rotors. They are reasonably priced which is great in these times, and do great job. I highly recommend.

I came here to have my car fixed and was told it would cost me $650 dollars to fix but they didn t know if that would fix the car. I also had a relative to go to them to have car fixed but the very next day the car was running even worse and was told that it would be another $160 for them to fix it but they wasn t sure if that would fixed the problem. Come to find out they had took a wire loose and wanted to charge to fix it!!!I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GET THEIR CAR FIXED HERE!!!DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!

Called him , towed my car on Friday morning and it was done by 1pm the same day. Very professional. Even added a little power steering to it. Lol. Great place, I think this is my new mechanic! Very fair prices. Everyone else wanted over $100, he did $100 flat including tow, labor, and new lug nuts.

This place is the best repair shop around.They had me for a long time. But the multiple issues I had with my car was fix.Before me authorizing the repair they took me to the car and explained everything single thing.I will suggest this place for your next repairs.The have also multiple locations around metro Detroit.Thank you again

I brought my vehicle into Redford auto repair to have my brakes and suspension checked. After speaking with Jay, he let me know my front struts and sway bar links as well as my brake pads and rotors in the front and rear needed replacing. That same day Jay had his mechanic Will work on my vehicle and get it back to me in a very reasonable time. I was pleased with the work and will be referring my friends and family to Redford auto! Thanks again!

Had breaks and sway bar links installed on a Saturday. Arrived at noon out by 2. Fast, efficient and friendly service. I will definitely be going back with my car repair issues

Once again I m back at Redford Auto Repair in Westland, because of their professionalism, honesty and communication and affordable pricing I brought my vehicle back in for windshield replacement and driver door window gadget needing to be fixed. Talk to Jay and Jackie they gave me the quote and again put my worries/anxiety at ease.I previously had my brakes and tires done through Redford auto repair in Westland with a reasonable and affordable quote/price. I was very satisfied with how well Jay,Jackie answered all my questions and even put my worries at ease. Jay/Jackie and even the mechanics that have worked on my vehicle, they all have a long the way kept me posted with the the service that was being done on my vehicle finished and ready for pickup.I will definitely be back if repairs need to be done on my vehicle and definitely recommend to anyone for auto repairs.They are all a fantastic and outstanding team!!!Thank you to all!!Services: Tires, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Oil change

BREAK Tail light wasn't working. Had the contraption replaced. Didn't come on when I used the break. I would use them and recommend Jay and his guys again. Jay accommodated my every need like driving me home and picking me up at home. Got on the repair done in a timely fashion. Don t get me wrong the men that work here are super friendly. But I went in there A month ago To have my front tires looked at. They came back and told me that I needed all brand new front brakes, rotors and calipers done for 700 something. I took my car to two different shops just to make sure and was told that only front brakes and rotors needed to be done that my calipers were not need to be fixed. And was only charged to 270 for brakes and rotors.

I unexpectedly had a flat tire Thanksgiving weekend on Saturday and they took me right in and was ever so helpful getting me set up with a new tire in less than a hour.Great service in all my needs.

I have had my vehicle and a friends in for service. Jay has always been straight forward with the issue and price and service has been prompt each time. I really appreciate when a business doesn t see a customer as a price tag trying to get the most possible out of someone. I have recommended Redford Auto in the past and will continue. I have worked in customer service for 26 years in a different type of work however sales work on the same principles. I don t mislead customers or oversell so I applaud Jay etc for being the same way.Services: Exhaust, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

I've been to this place a few times, and so far so good. Whenever there have been problems with a certain part I need on my car, they've been able to quickly resolve the issue, and Jay even checks in every so often, to make sure everything's good. Check them out, if you are in the area

I brought my vehicle in for an engine replacement. My vehicle is a 2005 Gmc savannah. So it s rusty and old. Jay and his mechanics were able to get my vehicles engine removed and replaced that same week I asked for it to be done. My vehicle is running very good and I am happy with my repairs. I wanted to say Thank You All for a job well done. I went in to verify why my car was leaking oil. A different company told me it was something totally different than what I was told here and more than likely the other job would have been more expensive. Not only was the leak fixed (I needed a gasket) but they also caught another issue with the car through a diagnositics check. I wasn't fully understanding the second repair to my vehicle in relation to the pricing because the part needed to be a particular part aside from what was put on the car in the first time they repaied it.. Jay was patient and took the time to explain what was done to the car and the pricing changes no matter how many times I asked. He also threw in a few extras that the car needed and did not add it to the bill. There were also some return services that he offered for my patience and inconvenience! The mechanic is top notch and my car rides great! Thanks again!
