I took my vehicle here to have it checked after a PTU unit was replaced by another shop out of State. Chris and his team thoroughly inspected the previous job and ensured there are no leaks through the seals and that the unit was functioning as expected. They were really professional and nice enough to not charge for the service. Who does that these days? Great customer service. I highly recommend them. Go to them for any issues with vehicle transmission. Thanks again, Chris!

Chris hooked-up his scan tool and test drove my car to diagnose my transmission problems for free. He was very up-front and honest with me. Hard to find great shops like this around anymore. Don't take your car anywhere else. Thanks Chris! I really appreciate it.

Tim was the most informative representative I spoke to about transmission issues in my entire life. I have called 5-10 other shops and no one even came close. I spoke with him 3-4 different times each call being 10-15 minutes long. He broke down everything in great detail and explained everything I needed to know when dealing with replacing/rebuilding a damaged transmission. He gave me so much great information I offered to pay him just for his ADVICE alone but he would not take it and also does not charge a diagnosis fee. A great man and a great shop. You will not get better customer service than Michigan Driveline Products

I had a bucking issue on my Ford Edge. Dealership wanted to replace the torque converter and rebuild the transmission. Estimated price was $7000 from the dealership. Took my vehicle to Chris and Tim and got a second opinion. And thank God I did. After they took a look at it they felt nothing needed to be done other than a transmission fluid flush. As everyone else mentioned they didn't charge me a cent. Transmission flush for only $200 fixed the bucking issue. So thankful for Chris and Tim. Saved me nearly $7000!

Great service, friendly, and honest. My truck developed a leak from the rear differential and Chris was able to get the truck in and out of the shop in half a day. I highly recommend Michigan Driveline Products!

Outstanding service, took great care in my car, and only fixed what was needed. Transmissions can be an expensive repair, but MDP is honest and only fixed what was needed. I m a customer for life. Great job great staff great work

This place is fantastic. I visited because I had some concerns about my transmission. Chris came out to my car, checked for codes, drove with me for a little bit, and even performed a quick re-learn on my transmission. Charged me nothing and said he didn't believe in diagnosis fees.What a breath of fresh air it was to visit this shop. No question in my mind on where I am going when the time comes that I do need a transmission overhaul.

I took my daughter's 2010 Ford Escape after experiencing shifting issues with the vehicle's transmission. I expected that the repairs would cost me thousands of dollars (and was trying to figure out how to raise the money) just knowing the age /mileage of the vehicle and my assumption that we were looking at a transmission repair or rebuild.Tim called me the day after they got the vehicle to let me know that it wasn't an issue with the transmission itself, but a fluid leak issue with a bushing on the driver's side- the cost for the repair was much lower than I expected to be spending. Tim took the time to also explain to me that the car also needed brake pads, rotors, calipers, and a brake line on the front. This doubled my price tag, but still didn't even come close to the amount I'd expected to spend on just the transmission issue.Tim took the time to make sure that I understood and authorized the repairs without being condescending to me, which meant a lot to me. They had the repairs done within 3 days, and when she drove it for the first time after the repair, my daughter said, "This is driving really nice! It's better than it's ever driven for me." She also really liked looking at the vintage pedal cars in the office.I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Tim & Chris for repairs- they are honest, fair, and they and their team do quality work. I found Michigan Driveline Products online. They had 99 reviews with 4.8 stars out of 5 stars. So I dropped off my 2011 Town and Country with a transmission leak on Wednesday and it was fixed and ready the next day. I was thankful it was only my transmission lines. I wish I could score this company higher. Chris and the whole team went above and beyond all expectations. I was due for a transmission rebuild and they made the process as easy as possible. Not only that they replaced several connections for the trans cooler, as well as the main seal for the transfer case. While I had it there they also replaced all the shocks with ones I had purchased.When it came down to settle the bill I was blown away, they didn't add any addition cost for the added repairs and replacing my shocks. I fully expected them to because they told me it would be needed after I had my original quote, and I agreed to the additional repairs.I took the truck for a spin after and it has never ran as good as it does now. they also put everything back together nice and everything appears to be in order.All I can say is this company is amazing, If you are looking for a transmission rebuild or any other service they provide. look no further you will not be in better hands anywhere else. The price was perfect and you cant beat their service. will be the only place I bring my truck from here on out!

Tim Gorton (one of the owners of Michigan Driveline), is my dad and he is not only awesome because of that fact but he really is the best mechanic. He has fixed my cars throughout the years and has always done excellent work! My dad is a man of good integrity and you can trust him with your car repair. You can also trust him to charge you a fair price. Michigan Driveline is not a place that only cares about profit, they genuinely care about their customers and providing excellent service. Highly recommend Chris and Tim of Michigan Driveline. Most mechanics will either treat you as not smart enough to understand, or demand to get it on the hoist before they'll tell you anything. Chris spent 15 minutes on the phone with me before I brought the car in. Patient mechanics, explain the problem, clean facility, and expert guidance. I have incredibly high standards for anyone I give business to or recommend. 100% this is the best mechanic experience I have ever had. Fair pricing and great people

Excellent service in every way. One rainy afternoon my F150 transmission gave out so I called my mechanic, Ken, at Affordable Automotive. He immediately recommended speaking with Chris or Tim at Michigan Driveline. Mayflower towing hauled my truck to Michigan Driveline after a call to Chris. Chris was easy to talk with and completely transparent about what repairs would be needed. He called with the diagnosis and a repair estimate the next morning. A job well done.

Chris and the crew were great. Fast return of my vehicle and original price. The truck was clean and ready to go at the time he promised. Hopefully I'll never have transmission issues again. But if I do I have no problems going back to Michigan Driveline Products

This was a great place to bring my car. I thought that I had an issue with my transmission and took it in to get it looked at. Chris and I went out for a test drive to pinpoint the problem, and he informed me that the car just had some really bad misfires that made it seem like the transmission was acting up.Honesty is a quality you don't see much in businesses these days and I would like to personally recommend this shop to anyone looking to get some work done on their transmission. A shop that is willing to sacrifice a job for honesty is worth giving a try. Thanks again guys!

I had been to two other places and spent way too much money before finding Michigan Driveline. They sat down with me and actually listened to what was going on. They asked thoughtful questions so they didn't repeat anything that was already checked out. In short, they solved the mystery of my transmission issues, their communication was awesome, and their fee was super reasonable. Great service facility with excellent staff! They are a pricier option for transmission repair, but the money is definitely well spent. They will fix your vehicle quickly and guarantee a long life expectancy for the repaired transmission with a premium warranty. If your need your trans overhauled, this is by far one of the best places in Wayne county to get it done

I had the transmission out of my vehicle for other repairs needed and took it to Michigan Driveline Products for rebuilding. Chris was clear, honest, and straightforward with the rebuilding process and price, and had it done ahead of schedule! He explained what was found and what was done to my transmission. VERY Professional, VERY knowledgeable, VERY reasonable! I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommend Michigan Driveline Products for all of your transmission & driveline needs!

I've been going to Michigan Driveline for over 10 years now, both owners are extremely helpful and honest. They are also very reasonably priced and very quick with your repairs. If they tell you a time frame they stick to it! I have honestly never dealt with a shop or even a dealership that's as helpful as they are. Michigan driveline takes their time explaining your vehicles issue and they stand by their work!! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE THAT NEEDS TRANS OR DRIVE TRAIN WORK!!!

I have been getting my transmission and differential serviced here for about two years. They always do a good job and let me know if there are any problems. I feel this is an honest place to get service done at. My trans is a re-manufactured Ford 4 speed automatic from Jasper with 220,000 miles.
