My fiance and I have had multiple fantastic experiences here with oil changes and other fixes to our cars. They do not try selling you extra things like other places. I genuinely trust when they tell me something is wrong and needs fixed. Will continue to use them as long as we can!

I had my truck fixed at Don's Garage and had a great experience. He fixed my rough starting/hesitation issue as well as replacing my ball joints and breaks. I have been burned by alot of mechanics in my day, but Don was the most trustworthy mechanic I have met. He and the crew are honest and trustworthy. I will be returning in the future!

I used to have an old Focus and Don's Garage was my mechanic for years until I finally sold it. He is always honest, fair and does great work! He now takes care of both my kids used cars. Definitely recommend, especially for single women. He will not try to charge you for stuff you don't need and will be honest with what you do need.

Don and his wife are great people. Don is always willing to help with a car. He has nothing but clear advice to offer and always gets you the best bang for buck you can for your repair. He's also absolutely awesome with Jeeps. For how temperamental those vehicles can be and the maintenance that's required for them to live a long life, he'll be sure that you're secure in driving. Nothing but good things to say.

Don and his crew do fantastic work. Workmanship is top notch, and he gives warranty for parts and labour. Prices are very good, and he's honest. If you don't need something done he will not push you into it.Great place, and a hidden gem of Westland. Unless I have to go to the dealer, I go to Don's. He's worked on all 3 of our cars and we've been very pleased.

Thank you Don for sacrificing your personal family time to fix my car with out notice or an appointment! I was the guy with the Ford returning home to Tennessee.Thank you for working on my car right away so I would not be stranded or have to get a hotel. I am forever grateful for your kindness, care, and saving me a couple hundred dollars. I am so happy my car broke down near your repair facility. You are the best and most honest mechanic I have met in my life time! Thank Mr. Don.

I have been going to Dons garage for many years now and it is by far the best place to take your car bar none. Don is upfront very personable friendly and honest. His prices have never been beat no one can touch them. If you have anything with four wheels and a motor I suggest you take it here if you need any work done.

Recently, I went to see Don to address what I believed as an issue on some repairs that were done at shop in Tennessee on which there was a warranty and which Don would honor. In reviewing the problem, which was a "Check Engine" light, he found that everything was in order and seemed to only be a computer function that needed to be reset. He reluctantly charged me a small fee only because he had to diagnose the problem with some of his advanced equipment. I appreciated his honesty and admired his integrity. I would use him again for repairs.

Super friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. We needed our car fixed in a pinch, since we are in from out of town, and he took care of it. In fact, there are some parts that need to be replaced in the near future, That he told us about, even though we know we wouldn t be getting it done with him. It s something I thought my home mechanic surely should ve noticed.

Amazing mechanic been going here for years. Always quality work and honest prices. He is popular and has alot of business. Give me a call. Highly recommend if your looking to get good work done and not kill your wallet. The owner is a really nice down to earth guy. Straight shooter no bs. My whole family goes here and now alot of my friends do. Can't find a better mechanic in Michigan.

Just started going here and am blown away by the service. Don explained everything about my car's issue throughly and was very friendly. Prices are great as well. So much cheaper to get tires rotated here than the big name places. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Don by a co-worker a couple of years ago and have been going to him ever since. He has troubleshooted electrical issues, replace 1/2 shafts, put in a LSD, to name a few. I used to work on cars myself, but now that I have found Don, I have been utilizing his services. Pricing has been fair to great and no issues with the workmanship.Remember, no one is perfect, but for the very few times I questioned the tightness of a bolt or squeak, Don had me bring the car in and instead of making a fuss, looked at my concern and gave it the proper attention.I feel very good in recommending Don for your car repair needs.

Took our truck to Don for a rattling noise. He diagnosed it quickly, and had me back on the road in no time! He s an honest mechanic with a great staff. We will definitely go back with any further automobile issues.

I googled places near me to take my car and Don's garage came up and it got good reviews. I am extremely happy I chose to take my car there. Don was professional, honest and reasonable. I will be back and I will let everyone I know what a great job they do there. Thank you Don and crew!

A little late, but I had some work done here about 2 years ago. I no longer have the car, but I still remember how kind, honest, and helpful the owner was when he helped me. I really appreciate it-- would absolutely recommend.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!!!This guy misdiagnosed (or may be never diagnosed) the problem and replaced my good battery and alternator for a issue which was related to the wiring between the alternator and the battery. He charged me full price for the re-manufactured parts and kept my original battery and alternator and made money out of it.So I ended up spending $400. Instead of fixing my car for below $40 (which I did later with the help of a local mechanic who came upto my place and worked on my car - just cleaned some contact points at the terminals and it was fixed).Never let this guy buy parts for you. He will only use re-manufactured or junkyard /used parts. Remember- always buy parts by yourself and take back the replaced parts with you.I know I can't get my money back or my parts which he replaced for no reason. So I will use this review as a good way to get back at him.I think it's always better to solve the issues by yourself in the weekends rather than giving people like "Don's garage" to loot your money.
