Super nice owner. Good vibes. Repair needed for my car. I left it overnight to check for battery drain. The owner did not charge me anything for doing basic diagnostics. Nice talking technician. Will visit again.

I went to Baba Auto yesterday and the reception was nice. A co-worker here and the owner were very honest and helped fix my car. He was checking the coolant line and the engine for me. Also changing the signal light with a really fair price. I have a good experience with this place!Keep it up!!!

Extremely quick, affordable, and good service. They even gave me a discount for being a student even though I didn't ask. Would always go to this place no matter what the repair for my car even though it is out of the way.

Mr Baba is one kind hearted, hardworking and talented mechanic. He and his team make sure to take care of their customers the best they can, never over charge and will even help you save money or make recommendations to lower your cost. Everyone of his competitors in the same area, over charge. I went to him once and got a tire refill and patch free because I didn't have cash and he was charging me less than $10 I believe. Another tire needed help but he was closed a few weeks later so I went across the street and for the same service, they were asking for $25! I waited until the next day and made sure I had double the cash to cover the free patch Baba had done previously and a generous tip! I can never anywhere else, it is so hard to find a trustworthy mechanic and he is it!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Side view mirror repair

Mr. Baba and his workers are the hardest working crew you can ever have taking care of your vehicle. He is honest, committed and very knowledgeable about cars. He will show you what the problem is and fix it in no time flat. I didn t have to wait very long when he did my oil change and fixed my front wheel. His kindness alone would have me coming to his shop, but kindness and a superb mechanic in one setting, I ve hit Gold. Ladies, we look for that one man that treats us with respect and educate us about our vehicles. It s hard out here to find a respectable mechanic like Mr. Baba (mind you, you have to be respectful as well, because respect is earned, not give). I love and trust Baba Auto Shop Repair and will continue bring my car here for future repairs as well.

Normally love this place, but called today (BaBa is out of town) and the young guy who answered priced ONE replacement wiper between $25-30. If I bring the wiper it s $10. GoodYear Auto Repair redford will replace the windshield wiper and provide the part for $15. Something s not right.

Pretend to put new brakes on but lied .6 months later had to go somewhere else to get brakes on I bought the brakes and he just charge me for putting them on he will give you discount if you don't get a receipt

Very good mechanic. I have made multiple repairs from him. Other chains asked for $150 for brake repair, but Baba made it under $50. Reliable repair, and I travel specifically to get my vehicle inspected from Troy.

Very friendly and knowledgeable, I actually work at a shop and get free labor and I still take my bmw to baba for installation of my custom parts !! Top notch work especially on foreign cars

I've been to many mechanics in last couple of decades and I've always felt robbed and got low quality work most of the time. All this time Baba was right there and I didn't know until one of my friends recommended him.After getting some repairs done on couple of my cars at Baba Auto, I am surprised to know that a mechanic can be so honest, trustworthy, transparent and professional. He didn't sell me services and parts that I didn't need, and he fixed my cars exactly the way they should've been fixed at well-deserved and very reasonable price.Baba also send me to another shop for muffler works and that was another great shop with quality work and price.Please keep maintaining your honesty, good character, fair and honest price and quality of work. I was looking to replace my stock exhaust with an after market(Remus) Catback exhaust on my Alfa Romeo, and enquired almost at 5 different places everyone quoted for 2.5 - 3 hrs with higher labor charges. Hands down this is the best place! They replaced it within an hour and charged me way way way lesser than what others have asked for.***I will highly recommend this place!!!

Excellent service, Honest people One of my relatives car wouldn t turn on. We took it there late Saturday when they were closing. They looked at it promptly Monday and informed us that the car can be started and it will work provided some instructions were followed. They left us a choice if we wanted to replace the fuel pump. They quoted a price and we agreed but when we went to pick up the car they charged even less. They didn t need to do that. No pressure not stress, they let us know what our choices were and gave us the best price. For their honesty, I d recommend them to anyone.

Honest mechanic who will tell you the issues with the car without having you spend the extra money on unnecessary parts/services like the big chains and dealerships.I brought him an estimate from Belle Tire one day and turns out more than half of the stuff wasn't even necessary. He is also quick to do repairs based on my experience with him compared to past mechanics I worked with.

Good Service and very honest. I had an issue with wheel bearing for back tyre of my car. Went to some places which estimated high cost and were asking to change all tyre bearings. Then as an second opinion I went to Baba Auto Repair and he gave me right lower price and informed that only one tyre bearing has the issue and needs to be fixed.Service: Tires

Baba has shown my family and I enormous live and patience there s not a car he couldn t fix or a service mishandled and he always shows and tell me ways to get it done cheaper and still be able to utilize his services I ve been around a look time I ve never met a shop quite like this one and I ve never been able to have every problem fully resolved no matter how big or small thx baba

My heater stoped working and only blew cold air. I came to Baba after my college Ed suggested him. I have to tell you this man is one of the most honest mechanics out there. He didn t start fixing my car with most expensive diagnostics possible. He started with the least expensive. They flushed the system and cleaned out the pipes. Fixed my heater just like the day got the car.Amazing, honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. No wonder Baba s shop is sooooo busy. Great service. Baba the owner is very attentive, kind and always treat you with respect and saves you on the service cost and be honest about what service your car needs. Will allow you to buy own parts and they will install. I literally saved $1,100 dollars which was what the Porsche dealer was going to charge. I recommend anyone needing service on their vehicle to come here.

I had a friend recommend this place to me. I had a very good experience. He will tell you straight up if it's an issue that can be fixed or not, no attempts to get work done on the car if it isn't required. If you need a trustworthy guy who will tell you the truth, this is the place. My Honda has an oil burning problem. Dealership service set up an appointment for diagnostics that was 2 weeks out. Had my car checked here. He told me this is a known issue with the car, not something unique to mine. I read up online and sure enough, lots of stories of there with the same symptoms. Dealership service wants to bill me $160 just to check what the problem is, knowing full well this is a well documented issue. Brought it here and had the truth laid out for me. 10/10 this will be my first stop for any vehicle trouble.

The owner Baba is one of the most genuine and down to earth person I've ever dealt with. He doesn't charge for inspection, tells you exactly what you need to change or if you can wait for few weeks or months before you need to change. He would even let you buy parts from elsewhere and only charge labor, which is only $60 or so (for most customers).Service is quick, most of the time there are 3 or more people working.Customer service is good but it can get crowded on weekends as there is a huge number of returning customers, so make sure you call ahead of time, explain your issue and he can tell you when you should show up.
