This Shop is ran by a racist con artist, they over charged me & sabotaged my Truck. I'm very disappointed with them The 3 Stooges can do a better job.

drivers beware. this shop will return your equipment worse than when you bring it in. brought in a truck for repair got it back leaking oil. employees blatantly smoke marijuana in front of customers. owner lies about how much parts cost and will literally double the price of the part and won t show you receipts saying that it s none of your business. I do not recommend this shop.

took a school bus there that needed a motor overhaul. but instead of rebuilding it they put a used motor in that they said was a great run engine. but Michigan truck parts where they got it from said it was not. saying that when I got the call that the bus was done i went to pick it up and take it back to the bus yard. two weeks later the motor blew up. i don't recommend this shop.

Has plenty of truck parts with quick delivery. I am leaving three stars because their site inaccurately shows parts that fit on these trucks that actually don't. I have already had to do a return for an exhaust kit that did not fit my truck. I have also received kits that are missing items from them where I've had to wait to get shipped out again. As I stated, plenty of truck parts but I seem to always have issues ordering from them.Services: Exhaust, Body & Trim

Mike went above and beyond to locate a transmission that would be a perfect fit for my trucks usage. The shops work was thorough and I love that they used all new hardware. Will definitely use again.

Great guys, Mike knows his stuff!! One of two shops I will allow anyone to touch vital components on my tractor, aka, my motor. I never have to redo their repairs, like you would at 99% of the other shops out here. I will be a regular customer for the work I cannot do myself. I highly recommend Mike and his shop.

What can I put in a review of American Truck? Well for starters if you want it fixed right take it to Mike and his crew. We have been using them for a long while now and I can't say anything has ever been not done professionally. If anything Mike will be BRUTALLY honest about the cost upfront and let you know just how much it could really turn into to do it right. This is the GUY you want to say is your truck GUY. Not always there on the weekends and that's GREAT. These guys put in alot of hours! But I will tell you this... If it's a Fri night and you really need to be rolling on Mon morning, if he can get the parts he won't let you down! All in all he has done great work and has even gone above and beyond numerous times saving our busy schedules. His son is just like him as well. He's also Mike. That guy has a great deal of knowledge in his head as well! Awesome family I am glad to be doing business with. Always always always top notch. Thanks Mike and Mike for looking out for the refrigerated trucks we have!!

Mike and his crew got me in and fixed in a reasonable amount of time. The mechanic working on my truck was knowledgeable and thorough. They fixed what another shop failed to.

I brought my '93 diesel pusher RV to Mike. He and his team did great work in a short amount of time, I was kept informed about the service & repairs, and they got me on the road home. Whenever I'm in the area traveling I'll definitely bring my diesels to American Truck. Thanks, guys!

I started taking the company truck to Mike when our current repair shop gave us a high estimate on work they said we needed. Mike inspected the truck found 50% of the work needed to be done was true but also found other serious problems that need to be done. He completed all the repairs that needed to be done for less money than the original quote from the other shop.He also stands behind his work. When we had a electrical problem with the truck he fix it and return the truck to us the next day when a different electrical problem pop up he fix it at no extrachargeI Will Keep bringing the truck to him because he does good work at a fair price

I brought a 2008 ford 350 6.4 diesel truck to these guys it needed and engine oil cooler and turbos. I had another mechanic start the work and he was not able to finish the job but he had the turbos off already which has to be taken off to fix the engine oil cooler. When I first talked to the mechanic he said the turbos were most likely fine and all together the bill was estimated at 3500$. After he looked at the truck he stated the turbos were good and he'd have the truck ready in a week. He seemed very honest and professional saying he wanted to do the job right and his reputation meant a lot. A week went by it was not finished and he then stated the truck now did need new turbos I trusted him and told him to go ahead and put new ones on. he said there would be no extra labor because the turbos had to be off anyway for the engine oil cooler. He said the new turbos would cost 1900$ which was less then i could get them for but 3500 plus 1900 is not 6353.00 which is what my bill ended up being. 6353 is not my big issue about this mechanic ..here is the rest of the bad issues ...2nd issue it ended up taking a month and a half for him to repair my truck ...3rd problem I immediately took my truck to another mechanic since my fan was running constantly and the exhaust sounded like it had a teribble leak and I was getting codes for my egr system on my dash as well as very bad fuel mileage (around 5 miles to a gallon) the next shop that i took it too my coolant had never been flushed and was contaminated with 2 gallons of oil ( this was surprising to me since american truck and fleet told me he had flushed it 7 or 8 times he wanted me to purchase a new radiator which my hometown mechanic said that i should absolutely not purchase which would have made my bill well over 7000.00 ) the new shop stated you do not replace the radiator because it can be flushed ! the new shop charged me 75$ and used a miracle degreaser called mean green which you can purchase at any dollar store Walmart etc. he flushed my system out completely in 3 hours degreased the motor for an extra 100$ then he noticed a broke manifold stud the part that controls the boost on the turbo was bad and the truck had no boost to the turbo ( it did look brand new out of a box) that is not american diesels fault but they should have checked it. then after that I left that shop headed back to Tennessee within 10 minutes the top radiator hose popped off causing me to have to tow my truck back to the second diesel repair shop I watched the entire process and they had never touched the top radiator hose that had just popped off ( had no c pins to hold the radiator hose in ) after having the fan replaced and the manifold studs replaced the truck has run perfect with no problems moral of the story this shop seemed overwhelmed with a job of this caliber and wanted to squeeze as much money out of me as possible did not seem like he wanted to check on anything that i asked about reguarding the truck and every time i asked him if he checked it he would say yes he did . He told me my fan was not running anymore and there was no exhaust leak. IF YOU USE YOUR TRUCK FOR WORK AND NEED IT TO BE QUICKLY REPAIRED AND RELIABLE FOR WORK STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE IT TO ANOTHER SHOP TO HAVE IT FIXED ENTIRELY AND CORRECTLY.

Place gets the job done right, but you might have to wait a while for your vehicle to get serviced. Usually a 4/5 day wait from personal experience taking a work truck in.

Great service, they really helped me out when our truck broke down down. They got me towed in and started working on it right away. It's running great now and didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I would recommend this shop to other business's looking to get their vehicles repaired.
