The best shop around!! Annette and David are the nicest and easiest people to work with. Faster than any other shop I ve taken my car too. Very fair pricing as well. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone that needs work done!

I recently had my Hummer h3 in there to have the transmission replaced. This is the first time I have had to bring my vehicle in. I was so happy with the speed they got it done, and the excellent service. I will be referring all my friends and relatives to them what a great shop. Thank you so much.

This is the second time my ex husband brought his 2006 Hummer H3 into have work done. The first time was a transmission this time it was engine work. Both times the work was done beyond expectation. They re are also super affordable and friendly! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an honest mechanic.

After trying a few different shops in the area I choose David's garage for all my automotive needs. The owners are awesome people that just do really good and honest work. I recommend this place to anyone who ever asks where is a good shop to get my car repaired.

Had my truck serviced recently. They've earned my business for as long as they're open. They have very competitive hourly rates and are willing to go above and beyond to save you money. They're very knowledgeable and communicate with the tech community to figure out anything they might not know yet. Their communication with the customer is outstanding. They update regularly, call back when they say they will, and are very friendly. Excellent place.

These guys are trustworthy, they will tell you if work can wait or if it's an immediate need. Excellent communication, they take the time to explain & are honest about cost & timeframe for getting work completed. They came highly recommended by a friend & I'm just as impressed. Any GVSU students from out of town (or anyone for that matter) that need a trustworthy and honest mechanic should check out David s Garage. I have been taken advantage of by other mechanics in the Allendale/Grand Rapids area, and I m very pleased with the work I had done at David s Garage. Their inspection was swift, the work was done right, and the price was fair. They didn t try to add on unnecessary fixes like most other places. I will go there again if I need more work, and I will recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic. Thank you, David s Garage!!

Absolutely wonderful doing business with David's Garage. Daughter who is a student and Grand Valley had a radiator issue, and they fixed it up quickly and for a reasonable price. I started using David's Garage back when I lived in Robinson Township. Time and time again I am very satisfied. David and his wife Annette (who handles the office side of the business) are both very friendly people who care about providing good service.I have had David do small things like brake work and oil changes, on up to big things like replacing an engine. His hourly rates are highly competitive, lower than any other garage in the West Michigan area that I had used previously. When scheduling service with Annette, she has been wonderful at getting my vehicle worked on at a time that fits into my schedule.When there has been issues with work done, like a part being defective, they have always been straightforward and wonderful about getting it sorted out. Having had a few parts go bad within the warranty period, something they cannot control, they quickly took care of getting a replacement in and did not charge for the labor for the replacement.After moving about 30 minutes away, I still use David's Garage. The drive is a bit inconvenient, but when it comes to mechanics and the horrors (and high prices) I have experienced with others, I value the good and reliable service enough to make that drive.If you need something done on your vehicle, I highly recommend giving them a try. I have shared my experience over the years with family and friends and all of them who tried David out have praised the service like I do.

I arrived out of town with a vehicle that barely got to the other side of the state. I stopped along the way at an Autozone to replace my car battery (assuming that was what was wrong with my vehicle)- it wasn t. I had several friends and family members recommend to go to David s garage. They were outstanding. They squeezed me in (even though I m sure they were busy after the holiday). Annette and David were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and honest. I can t say enough great things about them. The only downside is that their repair shop isn t closer to my home.

Best place in the area to have your vehicle repaired. Honest and reasonable, Dave will tell you exactly what is needed and will never try to sell you services you don't need. I've been using this shop for years and have never been disappointed. Great people and a fantastic local business to support.

I brought my truck to David's garage today. They called me within a few hours to tell me what was going on with it. They were easily the most friendly and professional shop I have been to. Our vehicle had a big issue on the third day of vacation. We had it towed to David's after closing one day and they were very good at communicating and had it fixed by 3 the following day. Other places cold not even look at it for a week plus allegedly. Price was fair.

Great local service. In the year since we moved to town we've had my wife's vehicle there on three different occasions. In all instances the work was not only done right, the customer service and knowledge clearly showed they cared and knew what they were doing.- From a customer that is qualified to service they're own vehicle, but would rather not. Keep up the good work.

I had such a wonderful experience going to this shop for the first time this week. The staff (Annette) was kind and friendly, and David got the work done well, but very quickly and for unbeatable prices! I will not be going anywhere else from here on out and will be telling everyone about my amazing experience!

Never disappointed!! I have known David and Annette for years and they are the most honest people in this field by far!! I have always been told what can wait and what needs to be repaired now. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a reliable and fair mechanic to go here.

David's grarage broke my reservoir cap for my radiator and just left it in my truck without telling me I needed a new one. I seen it but thought it was the cap for my master cylinder seems he said I needed a new one which now thinking about it the problem was most likely air in my breaks. I originally went to them cause my truck smelled like Antifreeze. 800 dollars later. We still had that antifreeze smell so we took it back to David's garage and he said it was my thermostat and wanted me to give him 200 more dollars to fix it. I refused and they just left my truck with no radiator reservoir cap. Dave never even told me I didn't have a cap on when we picked the truck up. My wife drives it and antifreeze blows all over my trucks motor and all over the streets. I refuse to go to Dave's garage ever again.
