It's not that I disliked my experience with Scooters -N- Moore. The owner is a business man. I think for advertising sales they change the direction and just call it a garage, or shop. Scooters are there, not in the way someone that would sincerely like to have options and something the same day.

Awesome service. Worked around my schedule. Showed up at my home within 2 days in Birmingham (far), loaded up both scooters, repaired them well fast and thoroughly. Asked if I wanted to add a trickle charger to prevent the battery dying problem over winter. Charged me a fair price. Overall a complete breeze while all other companies I called were difficult, made their schedule my problem and made it sound like they were doing me a favor by maybe giving me a spot weeks later. These are my go to guys from now on

Sam is very friendly and works fast. His rates are reasonable. He picked up and dropped off my scooter for a reasonable fee. He called me to follow up with me after fixing my scoot, which I thought was a nice touch. I will definitely work with him again.

Do hire Sam for any work you need done. He is professional, creative, fair, responsive and smart.Thank you Sam, great job! Your work is impressive and professional. I did not mind paying a fair price to get back on the road. I got to enjoy a couple hours of riding my awesome, newly fixed, electric mountain bike this afternoon. Loving it! You da man!!

Sam came through for us, when he didn't need to, and for that I am very grateful. We needed a very small cost part, in a pinch during a robotics competition. I talked to him, and he told me that he opens at noon. It was 8am. Once he realized the urgency of my call, he called me back and said he was on his way to the shop. The part I bought from him solved our problem, and helped us stay in the competition. Thank you Sam!Neil PowersWaterford Robotics

4 times I went to this business walked out empty handed. My opinion only. Sales person attitude sucks. Prices high. Helmet coat more then Roseanne power sports for the same model. Lack of after market parts I'm saying lack. They did not sell the parts I needed for two different scooters . Attitude.... We dont have this . Turns around walks away. Sales person is not a people person at all. Should be working a different job. I will not go back. My opinion stated.

I received excellent care, speedy service, needed advise, great results, and most affordable fees. I own a Yamaha Vino 125 scooter that required a lot of work. I am very pleased with the cost of repairs and quickness of work, as well as, the honesty of the owner.

Sam is the man! DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR SCOOTER!I bought a very cheap, concerning Moped from China last summer that Sam worked on (I waited to write this until I had rode it 500+ miles).Because it was from China and I assembled it myself, I asked Sam to inspect it and make sure it was safe, change the oil, and make any needed repairs. Sam offered to upgrade the engine and I took him up on it.Sam blew away my expectations! He picked up my Moped from ~30 min away (dropped it back off when done), did all needed repairs I would have never known were needed, changed oil, and completely changed my engine making it faster and more powerful. He kept me up-to-date on the status texting me videos, calling me, and making sure I understood all work being done.His price for all the work was beyond reasonable and lower than expected, Sam has a passion for helping others and doing the best job he can. Love my Moped and will never take it anywhere else!

I had work done on a 100cc bbk and was told it would be 650 out the door. I signed the bill and put my address down, not knowing he would add another 250 on. I had him replace a bulb, he did fix the horn but three days later the voltage regulator and horn was hanging down and he didn't bolt them up. I had to do this myself. He told me he changed the oil and gear oil and he charged me twenty for that... That was supposed to be part of the 650! I drained the oil bc I had a feeling he didn't change it and, not surprisingly, he didn't. He charged me 900 dollars for very shoddy work and I strongly advise people to stay away! You have been warned

Sam the owner, did an incredible job on the go kart I bought for my son. I live 30 minutes away from his shop, and not only did he assemble, add missing parts, and fully service it he also dropped it off for us. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows his stuff! Wish I could give him 10 stars, truly amazing service!! Thank you Sam!

Terrible customer service they sent me the wrong clutch when they didn t have the one I need it I took almost half my money I also had to pay $21 to return it

Sam has been my mechanic for 2+ years.He keeps my mopeds running through heavy year round usage. He aslo fixed a lawn mower. He's extremely competent and really knows his stuff. He does not over charge the way most shops do. I highly recommend.

Sam is an amazing worker. He works from 10am-12am. Every Scooter I ve ever purchased from him has been top-notch. And he s always fair with repair prices. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Was after a 110cc 4 wheeler, he actually set it up for me to buy, walked in and we talked, and he advised me on a more suitable piece. I am after all a bigger fella. Just excellent customer service and very outgoing. Even gave me air and fuel, taught me a few things. Very thankful for finding this place..

I had a Wolf RX-50 with 1700 miles. It didn't start all the time so I brought it in. When I initially called Sam, he told me he wouldn't be able to get in my 50cc scooter until later in the week. About 5 days. However, since his place was a bit of a trek from my home, I dropped it off early when I had the time and told him to work on it when he can. Eventually Sam started looking at it much earlier and I had my scooter ready to go by the time he said he would be able to look at it by which was very nice!I don't know much about scooters and this was my first one I had just bought used.I was having some issues starting it. When I came to the store, Sam had a lot of people there. He had some trouble giving each person his full attention because he had his hands full. I think it's a little intimidating to have to get his attention but when I did, he answered my questions. Sam told me up front that he charges 75/hr on labor but he caps around $200.He can't promise how long it will take bc he didn't know the issue and he doesn't know what parts it'll need yet.What I'm saying is Sam doesn't do diagnosis alone. He only opens up the scooter and fixes it to save money/time for you in the case you do ask him to fix it. If you ONLY want a diagnosis, Sam MAY not be your guy. I can't be too sure. He MAY comply with a diagnosis only request if you are certain that you will not ask him to fix it.Anyways Sam did a lot of work on my scooter. He tightened my brakes, put a new carburator, put a new battery, changed the engine and transmission oil, put a new spark plug,a new fuel filter, checked my valves, filled my tires, and changed my ignition out because it seemed to have a bad wire.During the repair time, I did call Sam every couple days or so to check in on what's happening. He gave me updates and was informative. Sam texted me videos of my transmission and engine oil being changed out. It looked like it might've never been changed. I guess I made the mistake of only checking the oil level and not what color it was when I bought it. I learned something!When I came to pick up the scooter, Sam also showed me some safety, maintenance, and storage tips for my scooter which was very kind of him.Sam charged me 2 hours worth of labor. He also charged 50 for the battery, 20 for both oils, 15 for the spark plug, 5 for the fuel filter, 55 for the new carburator, and 48 for the ignition. I did check that that these were fair prices for these parts and they seem to be so.I was satisfied with his service. My scooter runs fine now. However, since I don't have the expertise, I can't look over his work with keen eyes. I may update this part if I have my handy friend take a good look at the scooter and look at Sam's work.The only thing I'd tell Sam to do differently is just develop customer service skills and intitiate more communication with new customers. I don't recommend Sam to those who are not interested in openly communicating with him regularly because they may end up with surprise billing issues that cause disagreement. For example, had I not stuck around and asked questions when he was busy with other customers, I would have not known that he was not doing the typical diagnosis then calling me to proceed. I would've just have had that surprise $300 bill and been upset. He can come off as intimidating ,however, he is a good honest man. Probably just smile, initiate conversation, and be more welcoming Sam Otherwise, he is talented, charges fairly, works quickly, and is up front about everything as long as you ask him the things you want to know. Otherwise, he *may* not tell you if you don't ask. Luckily, I'm a rather inquisitive person.Some extras you should know:Sam does pick up and drop off scooters but not for freeSam offers to let you keep your old partsIf you buy a trickle charger from Sam, he will put it on for you for free so that it's easy to plug in while your scooter is in storage.

I will never go anywhere else! The owner is such a great guy and we need more people like this selling trustworthy transportation! My son just bought a preowned but new scooter from him and I won't let him go anywhere else to let them eff it up. Shop is messy by necessity. He has everything to fix anything and is just Amazing!! Thank You!!!

Best in the business. He took two of my mopeds and fixed the up real good! Also, he worked really fast! Only took two days and those mopeds were kicking back to normal! He's a real hustler.

Owner was unwilling to listen to my concerns and the work and parts i put into the moped prior to bringing it in. He was cocky, rude and in the end he over charged me and never fixed the problem. A waste of money and time. I will be taking it to KLM Powersports in Clinton Twp from now on. They are at least polite.

I like this shop and it's a cool place Have all the things I need For my bike The guy is very reasonable And he is a good guy Be a problem And I am a very picky person on who I let fixed on my bike

had my bike fixed a his business he did find my problem and fixed it but when he released the bike to me it was working just dandy til I went to a business nd got stuck at place cuz I had no throttle...i called him nd told him what happened nd he gave me some excuse that I messed with it but that wasn't the case I looked at the situation nd noticed the cables wasn't tightened down...when I got the throttle working I drove back home nd I was lucky enuff to get it back home nd I called Sam back nd told him what he didn't do nd he said he told me to watch my mouth nd he evenly blatantly lied over the phone to me nd that's when I lost it on him. I would not even recommend him to my worst enemy or anyone else as far as that goes so all I have to say is b very Leary of Sam he does good work but doesn't know how to run a business or communicate to his customers nd doesn't complete the job within a reasonable amount of time either

Sam is a great guy!! Had my sons moped in for some repairs and he answered all my questions and concerns. Very honest, knowledgeable, and personable. Sam is definitely your guy!!

The owner is awesome, very knowledgeable,I picked up a green, and pink 125 ATVs from him. The green runs excellent, the pink one one is a little finicky at first, but we got it. Both machines running great, thank you.

Well let me start out by saying how friendly to owner Sam is, it's rare to find a business owner willing to go over and beyond for his customers, this is the place affordable prices and believe me I do my research when it comes to prices. Well I hope you get the same type of service I did, because when it comes down to it, the only person I'll let near my motorcycle is Sam.

Did not adequately repair tire/inner tube of my bike. Not a complicated fix at all. Rear tire leaks despite the fact that I've not ridden the bike since it was repaired. Flat out refused to replace/repair for free despite the service being under a month old. The old tube used to lose air just sitting around too. I wonder if that rear one was even replaced. They also replaced an extra tire on a friend's bike without asking him first. I wouldn't trust this shop to do another thing for me.

I just got back my moped from scooters and more.. they have way exceeded my expectations. They did an amazing job fixing my moped that had sat idle for years.He took the time to explain everything to me and the repair cost was truly reasonable.I would highly recommend them!!
