Do not buy from j&j auto sale they make everything to what it s not very pushy sales man. My sister bought a 2008 grand jeep Cherokee on March 18 2022 & her motor went out in literally 2 weeks . Al was the person that sold her the car & told her it was nothing wrong with this car she then 2 days after she got the car went to go get a oil change so there is no way her motor should ve blew on her . She talked to Al multiple times he keep sending her in a run around about paying to put a new motor in my car but she not doing that because no way it should already be messed the they mechanic made it clear the oil change place did everything right ! He stated the motor been bad he can t even work on it , once she bring up the lemon law Al said I can tell u to fly a kite and will not help you

We recently purchased a car from here and everything was pretty great! I was able to drive multiple cars I was interested in, like 3. They were very helpful and fast. Al helped us out the entire time and I can't complain. He was patient and friendly. It's only going on a week now, but the car has been great!! I pray I don't have any bad experiences, especially no time soon.

Very disappointed in this car lot and the sales representative Mr. Earl. He is very pushy and will tell you anything to sell you a vehicle. The vehicle we purchased had multiple issues that I feel they tried to hide. After purchasing the car I had to spend 4k to keep the vehicle running. Called the office to bring these issues to Mr. Earl's attention and he was very inconsiderate and had no compassion for how that amount of money in repairs could effect my life, for a vehicle I just purchased. I wouldn't recommend this car lot at all.

I bought a car, in cash-$2200-from Al. Wasn t off the lot 24 hours and the radiator was pouring coolant everywhere, steering was a mess. Same thing as the reviews below me...I called, he said bring it in he had a guy . His guy is Carl across the street, and Muffler Dave next door. I was told there was a new radiator put in and a steering sensor. Soon as I picked it up the steering had a knock and the car was driving itself. I called back, had to take it back AGAIN. Picked it up this time and the damn steering went out completely about 1/2 mile from home. While Al was kind enough to drive me home once I brought the car all the way back for a third time-I was told that nothing is wrong with my car and I might be a little bipolar. Funny when I picked it up and got home there was a brand new battery in it though and now it s running fine. They refused to show me any paperwork for the fixes they did..and when I wouldn t leave until I got it, Al wrote on a pink post-it note the two things they supposedly fixed, lol. He refused to get me the paperwork from Muffler Dave for the exhaust work I paid to have done (also only accepted cash and I had to pay J & J at pick up??). Finally Earl walked over and got the paperwork for me. By the end of my visit, the owner offered me my trade in and $2200 back in exchange for the title and car I bought. All this over a $2000 car! He says...and I couldn t agree more. Absolute shade over there-but hey, if you re short on cash and cute, Alfonse will offer you an arrangement to get into a better car-so no worries on that end. Watch out tho...the whole office throws a tantrum when they figure out a WOMAN just played them right back. Sick.

PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSEPayed 15,000 for a flex from them they told me they ll fix the broken window and back hatch before we even came to an agreement. Then the fuel pump went out on the first day, they fixed it and it immediately started misfiring because of a bad coil pack they fixed that and it started smoking super bad. I took it to Ford and it had a broken turbo so I had to pay 2,500 to have it fixed. Because they don t want to fix it even tho I pay a warranty. They also haven t fixed my window or back hatch

NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. I bought a car in May, the salesman Earl was pushy and didnt allow for a lot of time to take it to a mechanic, saying he had mechanics onsite. Well, now I know why. The car hasnt worked for a straight week since the day I bought it. I've taken it into 4 different mechanics, one specialist and no one can figure out what's wrong. Nobody. It's almost August now and the car still wont run for more than a day. We've tried everything. What a waste of money. Never ever go to this guy. They will lie and sell you lemons. I asked if the car had other owners, he said 1. Its had 8. I asked if the car had ever been sold at auction, he said no. It was sold at 3 auctions. Never trust these guys. Do not buy their cars.

Tho I got a nice car from this place, every time I asked Al (the finance guy) what the sticker price was, I got the run around, he kept telling me the sticker price isn't the actual price, after asking several times he finally told me. Then he said the car came with a 2 year extended warranty, (making it sound like it was included in the purchase price) he didn't tell me I had to PAY for it, I discovered that when I read the contract after the fact (my bad). And the interest rate is extremely high and I get it as my credit isn't where it should be...all in all I'll be paying almost as much in interest as I will be for the car itself..a word of advice to future buyers... When they have you look at the computer screen verifying everything for your electronic signature, PLEASE PLEASE make sure you read everything before you allow them to click accept otherwise you won't know exactly what your paying for and how much it will cost you until after they print out the paperwork, hand you the keys and send you one your way...I learned a valuable, costly lesson the hard way.

I began my journey for a new used car with a very specific vehicle in mind. With a budget of about 5k, certified preowned was not an option and sence I was financing a private owner also wasn't feasible. So with that I searched online and seeing all the great deals really excited me.Well after 3, 8 hours days of visiting over 20 dealers my excitement soon turned to anxiety . Every car advertised was not at all as advertised. In fact most of them were complete scams with major problems. Also in most cases while walking away salesmen continued to drop prices by 25 to 50 %, to get me to buy now. Soon my goal for a car changed from an exact picture in my head to a prayer that I wouldn't be taking. As I was ready to give up my search for an affordable solution I happened upon J & J. Best decision of my week. Not only was the salesman attentive and polite the cars weren't patched together with clear duct tape. I knew within minutes I was going to buy a car from them as I needed one desperately. The sales guy new how badly I needed a car but still shot me straight and gave me an excellent deal. Once I decided on the car I wanted the transaction went extremely quick and smooth. When I was completely my financing my lender repeatedly told me how good of a deal I got. They said me they have never financed a car that was selling for under market value as they typically sell well over market value. Beyond that the lender was extremely surprised with the fees on the purchase agreement. One specific item was lean holder title work wa listed at the actual price of $15. She stated she has never saw that price listed with the actual cost as most dealers charge $200 to $400 as nobody pays attention. Now 4 days later the car is driving exactly the way it did on the test drive with no surprises. I am so extremely happy I found J & J and I have a nice solid car I can trust enough to put my grand kids in. I can't thank J & J enough for providing a quality car at a great price. As soon as I can. I'm going back to get my second car from them. Its over an hour from my house but absolutely worth it and i'll never buy a car for under 10k anywhere else.Thank you J & J, I really appreciate you and will see you soon.

I won't say that this place is horrible but the owner is a real slick talker!!! I didn't let him know that I was a mechanic and I asked him a bunch of questions about a couple of vehicles I was interested in and he was dishonest for the most part!! He is a nice guy and I understand this is a business to make money, but I think he went a little too far and covering up issues with his cars that he obviously knew about.. If you go here to buy a car and you are not mechanically inclined you should definitely take a mechanic with you!!!

J&J sold me a 2008 Ford Edge i paid $5300 cash and the transmission went out in 2 days. I told the owners and they sent the car to a transmission shop which they have a contract with, then told me there wasn't a problem. Two days later the transmission went out! The owners at J&J are crooks! They lie and will steal your money! Dont waste your time at J&J auto, you can go to the auction in Brownstown on Telegraph and purchase the same crappy used car J&J sells at 1/2 the cost! All the cars they sell were cars people were junking or low quality auction junk cars that they sell for 3 times what they are worth. Dont be fooled with their 30 day warranty because its fake!

They have no inspection process on the cars. My car had several safety concerns after I bought it, it never even left the lot before I saw a couple of them. The place is not professional they smoke in the office with their customers so don't go if you have allergies to cigarette. Cars are not detailed or cleaned well. Price of car was right at KBB

I had a really good experience with J@J. They went out of the way for me. While all of the other Brokers around them offered no serious help. This is my second auto. I would say, give them a try. They run a good business.

I'd like to think that businesses take pride in taking care of their customers, without which they wouldn't be able to operate in the first place. This place is a prime example of shady car dealers that don't care about anything but making a dollar. After speaking with Earl for about 10 minutes I could tell he was a shady salesman. He literally pointed at the battery inside of the car I was potentially going to buy from him and said it had higher cold cranking amps that it did. You could clearly see it was only 650 and he repeatedly said that it was 850 trying to sell me on the fact that I wouldn't have to replace it until after the winter (Not true). He also failed to mention anything about the suspension which looked like it needed work after first seeing the vehicle but was actually dangerously damaged and could have injured both myself as well as other drivers on the road had I been driving at high enough speeds. Don't bring your business here. All you are is a quick sale to these guys. There are plenty of other dealerships that look a lot nicer and probably take a lot more pride in doing GOOD business on Wayne Rd.

Terrible place to buy a car. Sales people are rude. They mislead about the condition of their cars. The owner is also very rude, only cares about himself and not potential customers.

HAVE A PRE-PURCHASE EXAM DONE ON A CAR BEFORE YOU SIGN THE PAPERS WITH THESE GUYS. MR. EARL SAID THEY WERE NOT MECHANICS BUT THAT HE BELIEVED THIS WAS A GOOD, ALBEIT CHEAP, CAR. I ASKED IF THEY CHECKED ANYTHING LIKE LEAKING OIL, ETC., AND HE INDICATED THEY CHECK THE BIG THINGS AND THERE WERE NO SIGNS OF AN OIL LEAK. HE DROVE THE CAR AND DID NOT OFFER TO LET ME DRIVE IT. SHAME ON ME. SHAME ON HIM. A FRIEND SUGGESTED I HAVE THE ALLIGNMENT CHECKED AFTER THEY HAD DRIVEN IT SO I DID THIS MORNING, THE ALLIGNMENT IS FINE BUT IT IS LEAKING OIL IN TWO PLACES, LEAKING TRANSMISSION FLUID AND THE BRAKE FLUID IS CONTAMINATED SO I WILL NEED A COMPLETE SET OF BREAKS IN THE NEAR FUTURE. ALSO THE SUB FRAME IS ROTTING OUT AND COULD GO AT ANY TIME. I HAVE OFFICIALLY SPENT THE LAST OF MY SAVINGS ON A LEMON FROM THESE GUYS. WOULD NOT TRUST ANYTHING FROM THIS LOT.
