DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Dave is not a honest person and will rip you off. He replaced my transmission and it failed in 7 months and stated he will take care of it and then refused to do anything! He ranted racist comments. He stated I got your parts from the China people and they sell bad parts .Refused to cover the parts and labor after promising to take care of it. I told him I will pursue it further and he stated I don t care because I m not the owner. I plan to get local news involved as I m not the only person he has done this to. Take your car to a honest business who stands behind their work. Dave will yell at you and talk very disrespectful and he will not do what he promise. Complete crook!

This is a real transmission shop; not just a swap shop. Dave and his mechanic Madi definitely know their trade. They repaired my transmission which I removed and dropped off at their shop. They had it ready as promised when I got back from vacation. Great Job Guys!

Very rude on the phone. I called about a timing chain repair. Which at the time I didn t know there was a difference between the two shops people who works on transmission and people who works on the motors which works on timing chain repairs. But I called and wasn t aware of the difference between the two shops for the car repair I was looking for and the man was rude and was yelling through the phone saying he doesn t work on timing chain repairs and that I need to call a motor shop I said okay sir and hung up confused on why he got upset and was loud on the phone.

Dave and the Crew did an excellent job on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Transmission started to slip and the guys put my vehicle on there state of the art machine and diagnosed the issue and got me back rolling in no time flat at a reasonable price, Compared to competitors! Always will be a loyal customer here. Love the way Dave and the guys work, always have patience with them, he is one of the best shops in Oakland county hands down. They're honest with you and will answer every question you have, they get the job done with precision and it always satisfies!

Tried to take advantage of me. I thought my transmission went out so I brought it here. They confirmed my thoughts and I knew they was shady when they asked did I want to squeeze my warranty company. End up taking my car to the Kia dealership to only find out my transmission was good. Don t trust them if your a woman they will hit on you and take advantage

Dave is so helpful and friendly! He texted me pictures and kept me updated on progress and any other issues that came up. Definitely can't complain about the price either. I would recommend these guys for sure!

This Is The Place To Be When Your Vehicle Needs A Transmission! Excellent Price Point. Excellent And Fast Service. By The Way I Had Personal Items In My SUV Everything Remained The Same. I Am So Pleased To Have Found This Transmission Shop, So Is My Wallet.

Dave was AWESOME. Very up front with cost, of which I say was very reasonable. I have called around and his shop was the best price. Found other problems, and corrected the issues at a minor cost. I will absolutely recommend this shop. They're no fly by night joint, they've been around for awhile.

My car started acting up, so I called to get their opinion. Dave listened to my concerns, and agreed that it did sound like it could be the transmission, and he would gladly try to diagnose the issue. I arrived, and he was able to get my car right in, and was very transparent about his prices, and even took me in to look at his findings(from the scanner, and my actual car), which happened to be a leaky/corroded pan, which was causing the transmission fluid to leak out. They replaced the pan, and refilled the fluid, and did not try to take advantage of me by making it out to be a bigger issue than it was. I would highly recommend them because it s hard to find a shop, in my opinion, that is trustworthy, and they got the job done quickly and efficiently. They removed so much stress from what was initially an extremely stressful situation for me, and my car is driving like nothing was ever wrong.

Just got my car back and everything is working perfect. I was stressed out when I took my car to the shop and the manager was able to talk me off the ledge and assured me that he will get my car fixed quickly and will not have any issues. I am a single mom with a toddler, so I cannot be stranded. This by far is the best service, customer facing and mechanically, that I have had. THANKS!

Well my brand new to me 2007 Sautrun Aura transmission went. The people I purchased it from would have had the recall done if GM would have provided a notice. Dave was great with providing the information to me on the issue, what it was going to take to get it repaired and keeping me in the loop. Very happy with the all around customer service.

When I took my Hyundai, Santa Fe, to the dealer for the oil change they recommended to change my transmission fluid for $180. I called this place and made an appointment and they did the job for almost half that price. The management was honest and service was great, and the technician was a professional. Thank you guys, keep up the good work.

25May2008 - Had more work done on the MB. Great knowledgeable people and cost, as before. I bring my vehicles here for any kind of work I can not do myself!Drivetrain issues are pretty stressful. I was amazed at the level of expertise Shawn the mechanic had. He identified noises from two separate sources on my 2006 Mercedes (transfer case and rear differential) and the shop took care of both for a fraction of cost of dealership plus all warranties hold the same. Very professional, they let me know it would take an additional day of shopping around for remanufactured unit (saved me a bundle of $$) and provided me excellent care techniques (thanks Marty). I highly recommend these folks and will take my other vehicles there when needed (hope NO issues but my vehicles are used). They gained my full trust for the second time now.

They fixed my transmission cost me over 4000 dollars. My jeep was involved in a MVA they told me I could store this vehicle there nothing was signed and no costs were discussed. Now when I need to sell My vehicle for scrap they first insisted on repulling the transmission to recoup their costs and now they want the entire title . I have spoken to a lawyer and this is not legal so please please be careful . They do good work and dave has a heart of gold however he is unfortunately at the orders of his owner whom apparently is not like dave .

My ford f-150 had a blown transmission and some of the nearby trans stores told me it would cost me more than its worth to fix it and I'm better off scrapping it. Took it to these guys and they had it up and running in no time and for less then what the other guys quoted me. Definitely recommended.

Finally found my Mechanic! Even if I have to tow my car there it's worth the time and money.They always take care of the problem without trying to over charge me for unecessary parts or labour. Definitely would recommend!

Thieves!My 1980 Monte Carlo show car was stolen Thursday (5/27/2021). The owner claims several cars were moved out the way in order to steal my car. There was no sign of a break-in or broken glass from the other cars. I know it was a inside job!!! I contacted the police, posted the thief on social media as well as Fox2 Detroit came out to do the story. Do not do business here!Service: Transmission

Great service, very informative, and experienced. It's hard to find good auto shop now days unfortunately, but this Transmission Shop is a great find. I highly recommend them! Affordable prices too.

Thought it was a bad transmition rebuild turned out to be a bad break booster. But for 3 grand should still honer the warranty a check engine light is a cheap excuse to tell someone that you won't warranty it until that gets fixed.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Took care of me and didn't try to scam me like some of the other shops nor did they treat my transmission leak like it wasn't a priority.. Some places asked me to call back in a week in order for my car to be seen...I'm very greatful for their service and will be back if I have transmission issues in the future

Worst customer service ever. Hung up on me when talking on phone. Over priced was being charged $800 for a radiator job. Just not worth it.. Don't waste your time
