I was out of town for a hockey tournament during a pretty terrible snow/ice storm. I walked in without an appointment crossing my fingers that this establishment would be able to help get my family and I home safely. Not only did they take care if me almost immediately (despite having to DRIVE 30 MINS TO GET THE TIRES I NEEDED FROM ANOTHER STORE) but they were ALL so kind and gracious. I made a pretty dumb decision to drive with the tires I had in my vehicle. They could have razzed me and told me what a dumb woman I was but instead they took their time, chatted with me, took care of my vehicle in enough time to make it to my son's next hockey game. The manager took extra time to ensure I was pleased with the service, all the men working in the facility were respectful and generous with their time and space. Couldn't have asked to be in better hands. This took me awhile to get on here but that is only my fault, not the hesitation with the service provided. Thank you again!!! The hockey mom from Cleveland

I went in on some issues that I thought I was having that was told to me from 2 different people at the front desk and to find out none of what they told me was going on with my car when I was frustrated, but thank goodness for Steve who works at the front desk help me and made my situation much much better and made me feel so good. The repair guy saad did a wonderful job on my car and made me feel comfortable and show me everything that was wrong with it and made me feel secure. Thank you guys for helping me and making sure my safety is Everything and a priority to you. Thanks for helping me and fixing my vehicle the right way. Thank you.

They are professional and friendly. They do communicate with the customer well. Service is pretty fast if you have an appointment but their walking appointments not too bad either. They used to have a free coffee station and it s still there but no coffee. Hope they bring the coffee back.Jacob is the best.

My wife brought her vehicle there for oil change and inspection. When she came home, I checked the oil it was 1/2 a quart down from being full. Also, the inspection they did not check the air filter, which I had replaced. The air filter was inch for months, absolute terrible. This is not the first time I had issues at this place Don t go there.

I gotta say, I have a lot of respect for Doug! He is thorough in his checks, knows what he is doing, and has intregity most would claim does not exist with mechanics and sales.I became in with some services already elected and after he did a thorough inspection, he told me I shouldn't do some of them. He took the time to even explain why and even told me what I could do myself. He might not make the extra $100 on the service but I will be taking my car here for all of my future needs.Also, a Karen came in extremely upset with a billing issue she had and the counter handled the situation with more patience than I would have had.

Had gone there before for a tire issue and they fixed the problem quickly. This visit, I called them in advance and asked if they had time for me to come in because my vehicle was making a noise in the passenger front. They said sure, come in. When I arrive, I tell them what sound it is making and that I believe it is a wheel bearing. They test drive the car, check it out, and then tell me to take it to a dealership because they think it's a wheel bearing. AND charge me $90. This seems like they knew it was most likely a repair they didn't do, yet took the vehicle in so they could charge a quick $90. Think about this before you go there.

If you are not white do not go to this place! I went there twice to get service done on my cars and was told both times they only service uber or commercial vehicles. If thats thats the case you should post that everywhere your business can be found. I live right behind them and its the easiest and convenient place to go but F them. The attitude and disgusted look i got as soon as i walked in i wish i thought of recording it. Racist ignorant unworthy and disgusting. I will be contacting main company and passing this along. Oh btw there was multiple regular vehicles in the shop and out in the parking lot. Lmao great business

I brought vehicle in for a suspension check a wheel alignment and new tires. As I knew something was wrong with the suspension because the current tires was threading uneven. When I came back to get my vehicle the new tires were on the alignment was present on bill so I asked the rep cashing me out what happened with the suspension inspection. He stated it needed a lower tie rod on driver side and a control arm on passenger side im like how was tires put on and a wheel alignment completed without fixing the underlying issues. When we asked to speak with the store manager Doug he came out with an attitude like I ll put ya old tires back on. I was like it s not about that it s the fact I told you what I needed at the point you realized there was a suspension issue I should have been contacted and quoted what it would cost to resolve the issue plus the tire replacement. Anyone knows that a control arm and a tie rod will mess up new tires causing them to tread unevenly. I m disgusted in the service I received

The guy was working in the front was unprofessional. He couldn't give me an estimate without charging 30 bucks just to look into it. They only cares about money but not customers. Prices also get changes when you go pay at physicals location than their websites.

I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THE MANAGER ASKING IF THERE WAS ANYTHING GOOD YEAR COULD DO FOR ME SINCE IT HAD BEEN 6 MONTHS SINCE I BOUGHT MY TIRES. I ASKED HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST TO HAVE MY TIRES ROTATED. HE TOLD ME TO BRING IT IN AND HE WOULD DO IT FOR FREE. THEY TOOK THE CAR RIGHT BACK AND ROTATED THE TIRES IN LESS THAN 40 MINS. EVERYONE WAS NICE AND FRIENDLY AND THE STORE ROOM WAS CLEAN. I HAVE COME TO THIS STORE SEVERAL TIMES AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF.

This Goodyear Auto Service on 12 mile and vandayke is the worst by far I have experienced. RUN as fast as you can and NEVER buy a service plan from them. I have been trying to make appointment for my free alignment since a year and they keep calling back and cancelling on me saying no mechanic. Waiting on them my right tires have started to squeak. The front office ran out of excuses so he is saying all the their mechanics have died and they only have one mechanic. They rescheduled my appointment gave me the time and again are asking me to make another appointment or I can drop my car to get evaluated. WORST WORST WORST people and their lies. Ashamed of such businesses who wastes peoples time and money and sell them packages. BUYER BEAWARE

I hate that I have to give this place 1 star because they deserve no stars. I will never step foot in this place again and will be sure to let everyone I know not to get any service from this place. First. I called and asked if they could check my tires to see if they need to be replaced. When I got there the guy assisting tried to make it seem like I lied about calling them. Why would I lie about something like that and waste my time?? Then they acted like they didnt want to take a look at my tires. I left and went somewhere else with BETTER service!

Not only did they honor my warranty on my previous tires, they also replaced them all in under an hour. Great service and an even better price when the warranty is taken into consideration.

I came here for the first time to fix a slow leak in one tire. I dropped it off around 11am and didn't get a call back until 4pm stating they couldn't find the wheel lock key. I told them over the phone to check in the glove box as I knew it was in there 1000%. They repeated to have looked everywhere. I went up to the shop, got my keys and looked in the glove box and found the lock within 2 seconds. I went back inside to show them and ask them if that was what they were searching for. One of the reps looked over to the guy who supposedly looked "everywhere" in my car and the guy says "where did you find that?" My car is clean as a whistle and the thing was in plain view. Wasted my time here and will not be coming back. I'd leave 0 stars if it was possible as they are the laziest tire shop I've ever been to.

Not what it used to be. Was my high-school vocational education job. That was 1992. Seamed like they did not want the work, it was just an 4 wheel alignment. Shouldn't have been that bad. Told me it was going to take all day, they hope they could fit me in. Was actually my wife who made the first call. We made an appointment for Saturday drop the car off counterman very standoffish. I really didn't understand but it is what it is. When I pick the car up 3 hours later everything was good but same counter person just the pie hole man. Back in the day when Ed was there that s*** wouldn't fly. Where is your professionalism gone? Is that how you represent Good Year? Be blessed

Always a very long wait. Good work but be prepared to sit for hours for the smallest amount of work. I waited 2 hrs. For them to plug a nail in tire with only 1 car ahead of me. Staff is not very talkative they don t even speak when you walk in, took them about 4 minutes to acknowledge me when I walked in, But the mechanics do good work.

Very overpriced. I thought it may have been for more insidious reasons (me being a woman/a woman of color) but from other reviews it s clear they re just very expensive for no reason. Tried to charge me $40 dollars to change a brake light. Said he d have to remove paneling and such.I went to valvoline and they charged me 11 and it took <10 minutes and they did it while I was in there. Certainly not a $40 procedureIf the guy just didn t feel like doing it, I get that. But $40 dollars is crazy.I had come here once before for an oil change and I d thought my service was overpriced then, but wasn t complaining cause it wasn t that bad. Now I definitely know they re severely overpriced. The service wasn t even that great! Maybe all they re reasonable about is tires. IF THAT.

What a phenomenal experience. We took a screw to the tire 400 miles from home. We call dozens upon dozens of places and no one could get us in for days. We happened to stop here at closing time and they not only stayed open but fixed us up and we were on our way. Such friendly staff. I honestly can't say enough about this experience. Such amazing people working here. What could have been an awful situation ended up not slowing us down at all. Thank you so much!

I was very disappointed with the service! I scheduled an appointment online for 5 pm. The appointment was supposed to include certain courtesy services. When I walked into the lobby the gentleman made sure to tell me that I will only be receiving minimal service as they were too busy for anything else. He explained that they are short staffed and are off at 6 period. I asked about the courtesy service promised online while making the appointment. He was shaking his head no before I could finish asking my question. I did not appreciate feeling unimportant! The reason I booked the appointment there is because of their thorough service. I felt as if I didn t matter on this visit! Needless to say I will not be returning. We are all busy at work, that s what pays our salaries!

It s 5:15 on a Saturday trying to find a place to get a tire put on so I can make it back to Indiana. Even though their hours were til 6:00 I was told they like to get out early so they were closing at 5:30. It was 5:15 and he turned me away. Not cool in my books.

Free flat repair was amazing. The online appointment was super convenient. I arrived and was instantly greeted with knowledgeable staff that were already prepared for my visit. The waiting room was clean comfortable and was stocked with fresh coffee and cold water. The anticipated wait time of an hour was reduced drastically and the repair was completed in less than a half hour. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of tires or service.

I brought in a vehicle I was considering buying for a mechanical inspection. I experienced incredible service. The whole team did an incredibly thorough job looking at the car, and gave a detailed report of their findings. When I say detailed, I mean that time and effort was taken to explain to me exactly what the issues were. I don t speak car but Matt W. was immensely helpful in translating. He was not only friendly and kind, but took the time to answer my many questions. He was also honest about the costs of parts and labor, and what would be the best value. You can t find customer service like that just anywhere. I might take my own vehicle back to this goodyear for a check up, even though its quite out of the way for me.

OverchargedI thought I was going to pay 225 for the services I needed. I got a called and was told it would be $800+. Im very upset with myself for paying that price. After talking to a few different people AND mechanics about what they was charging for what needed to be done, they told me I ve been scammed. Maybe because I m female or because it s tax season, they decided to scam me idk but this was not right at all. I don t recommend. I shouldn t just went back and picked up my car and leave . I wouldn t been able to save so much more money. They didn t even give me my old part they claimed they replaced. How do I know if it was even replaced

I had a great experience at Goodyear on 12 and Vandyke. They were very professional, they did the work in a timely manner. The Store manager assisted me and took time to explain all that they did and why. Every time I have come to this Goodyear I have had a great experience.

I've been taking my 2013 Escape to these guys for a couple of years now for regular maintenance. The vehicle has 90000 miles on it now. I have found them to be competent, honest, friendly, and competitively priced. Much better than a few other places I could mention, but won't! Also, the fleet company that I use highly recommended this location due to their favorable experiences with this shop.

Matt N. and the entire team was great! I had a major car problem and thought I would have to spend even more money to rent a car, but they had my car ready for me the next day, where as at a dealership it would have taken a week! Very professional and knowledgeable and they are honest and will not rip you off unlike 99.9% of other mechanics in SE Michigan. I HIGHLY recommend this place for any car trouble, big or small, that you may have! Thank you guys!
