This was my first time there and I ll be back. Becca at the front was helpful by being honest and setting proper expectations. I enjoyed the free massage chair as well as sitting in old Tiger stadium seats. Fun TV entertainment to keep me occupied and helped the time pass too. Car is fixed and I m on my way. Thank you!

I came in with rear brakes failing/grinding. Becca and team checked me in offered beverages in waiting area. The estimate came in simple and efficient to my phone to approve. They took time to answer my questions and offer solutions. Personable staff and great service. Scott was nice enough to offer me a ride home since I lived close by. Once repaired they called and offered a shuttle to pick me up. All went well and now I'm back to a comfortable safe drive.

I have been using Tuffy to work on my fleet of trucks for years. Starting from front desk with Jordan to Scott who has help me get my fleet set up with Tuffy to the guys who take good care of my trucks. I always feel well informed with their fantastic communication and their knowledge of the vehicles. 5 years ago I went here for all my cars/vans. I'm a bit upset with the last couple of times I came here. Wishful thinking they would improve their cost. Not only did I spend $947.00 for brakes, calibers, and rotors. This last time, one of the parts was under warranty, so good on that. But,this last time was $649. And 6 1/2 hour wait. I called Belle Tire in Monroe, and they quoted me $315.00. I couldn't chance it going to them because it was the caliber that was covered, and it was the bearing needed fixing. Always check around before returning.

Tuffy did an amazing job,.again. We have everything from an engine replacement to a tire patched there. They are always up front with pricing and timing. They have never upsold us...and super honest if we need a repair at all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

I've only been going to tuffy for a couple years but they keep on impressing me. I have multiple vehicles I've taken in and each time they've gotten me in quickly, given me a detailed report, and have done a great job explaining the situation. Better yet, they do what most mechanics won't. They're honest and will tell you if something needs to be fixed right away or if it can wait. The one thing you get with most mechanics is b.s....You won't get b.s. from tuffy

Let's me honest, car repairs stink and are super expensive. The folks at Tuffy did what they said they were going to do, got it done when they said they were going to get it done, and worked with me on the price. They also took the time to explain what, why and how and threw in a few extras. I really can't ask for anymore. Thank you Becca and Scott

The technicians at tuffys do a great job on any miscellaneous jobs that me or my husband need done on our vehicles. They immediately helped us out after a car accident that required a lot of work on the front end.They do wonderful on general maintenance and double check the work they are doing to ensure the best case for the costumer.

Tuffy really came in clutch. Had work done by another shop in town and it was poorly done. Tuffy was able to get my truck in and do the repairs the correct way with no issues. Trucks feels like it was fixed correctly now.

As a walk in, The technician pulled my car right in plugged the tire. Less than a half hour with fantastic service. I knew they were good, but they are now better than good. They re awesome.

Terrible experience.I have passed by this place for 17 years. Never used their service. I recently stopped there with a classic car. I have an exhaust leak.A real nice guy named Jordan came out immediately. He explained they were closing on a Saturday. Jordan explained it would be no problem to check out an exhaust leak. He said come back Monday morning. I did not go back Monday morning however I called at 7:58am to confirm.I discussed again about bringing the car and the fact I can t leave the car. Explained the broken bolt. She said sure no problem come in tomorrow at 8 and she would get me in then. I later called again at 3:30 the same day to confirm the arrangement. I believe her name is Becca not sure but wow the lack of customer service is unbelievable.There was zero recall of the previous conversation at 7:58am. No word kept on what Jordan told me on Saturday. No concern period.I get it. Tuffy does not need extra work. However I will be sure to share my experience. I can t imagine leaving my car with these people. The rudeness on the phone was enough for me. I would never allow them to treat me or my classic car like that.No thank you.Becca should practice customer service skills. Jordan I wish we could do business unfortunately the girl who answered the phone ruined it.

Unfortunately, after 4 years of taking multiple vehicles to this tuffy, the service recent year has went down terribly. I have spent thousands in repairs and when Art was the owner things we re guaranteed to be great. Yet now 2023, I have had terrible experience over a simple tire replacement. I was informed of warranty s on all parts purchased through Tuffy. Even on their invoices it states 12-24 months or 12,000 miles limit. I need f a new tire and yet was given the run around. Promises saying I can get a warranty replace since it was 4k miles only since initial purchase. Yet I was lied to, told multiple things and given time frames that were never met. At the end of the day 5 days go past and I get my replacement elsewhere. Come today, 9/18/23 I am informed the tire arrived and I can come in tomorrow. When Last Wednesday was the day it was ordered and owner Scott said next morning. No outreach was made to me and I m heavily burdened by trying to keep my service at the same shop and now had to find elsewhere who are more honest and transparent. Do not go here if you want your car cared for. I don t trust these new employees or owner. Go at your own risk!

I got an exact quote detail by detail part by part labor hrs exactly the same from a different garage and the Tuffy was 650 more. No Thanks. Prey on old women Im not a sucker

Do not take your car to be repaied here, these people are not honest and transparent. I told them I had a bad fuel injector no.6. To diagnosed my car they charged me $225.00. The quote to repair it was a woping $1,060.00 to replace ALL fuel injectors. Instead of replacing the injector that was bad at $78.00 cost and 2 hours labor. It was unnecessary and a waste of money to have gone that route but THEY DONT CARE, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. Needless to say I picked up my car and went somewhere else. Not only did they lose me as a potential client but also my friends and relatives. I was told that they changed hands recently and the new owner, an enginer by trade, doesnt know cars and the team behind the counter are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Took my daughters vehicle here back when they had first changed hands, which at time we were unaware of change. Took our cars there when Art owned it and were very happy.Read a review of similar experience so I decided to post late review. Communication was friendly but that s where the good service stopped for us. They replaced my daughter s water pump for $750.00, then after paying bill, they proceeded to tell us she needed new engine, which they would do for over $4000.00. We decided to take the vehicle back to dealer we originally bought it from. They checked it over and said it was fine, and if we had brought it to them to begin with they would have replaced water pump much cheaper. It was at this time the owner of dealership told us that he didn t understand why Tuffy replaced the water pump if they recommended a new engine, because, new engines automatically come with a water pump. So the new water pump should have remedied the issue or they should have just replaced engine, if it actually needed it. Both were not necessary. Their attempt at double dipping costs, caused us to question everything, and that in turn led us to spend thousands of dollars unnecessarily, because we felt unsafe keeping vehicle with mixed information. The dealership offered $4000.00 trade in value on new vehicle purchase. This lead to deciding to purchase leading to more costs then we expected. If we would have been told we needed new engine period, that s probably the route we would have taken. Saving us $750.00 and also thousands.The owner of dealership says he used to use them to have customers vehicles inspected, before purchase, but no longer trusted them since change of ownership, for reasons he would not disclose. That s when I realized they had been sold. New owners screwed us out of $750.00 unnecessarily, leading us to trade in vehicle, spending more money. Draining the savings of this single mom. Thieves!!!Should have known better when on phone with one of the employees. He was very friendly but, didn t have knowledgeable answers to legitimate questions. He said the more knowledgeable person was busy on vehicles and he was relaying information from him.We will never use them again!!!Service: Engine repair

Tuffy was absolutely amazing to work with. Our sons car wouldn t start and needed a new air compressor & condenser. They were knowledgeable, friendly & most importantly got the job done not only quickly but did a great job. Jordan was a great help & we will definitely be returning customers for all of our families car needs.

Top notch service. Friendly phone response. Fast turn around which included Saturday service. They met projected time-line for inspection. Speed of electrical repair was same day turn-around. I asked to have other possible issues checked in which they went above and beyond. Upon pick up, Dennis and Sal discussed my concerns with potential other issues in great detail along with giving me a heads up to other issues I was unaware of. In no way did they suggest to perform and push me for all of these extras on my vehicle type, rather give me all the necessary info I needed in order to proceed with future maintenance. I don't know what others might have charged for the diagnosis and repair I received for what it was brought in for, but found it reasonable for my budget.I have driven my vehicle for 2 days since the repair and so far, the condition I brought it in for has not been repeated. Dennis and Sal are a true asset to this business. I used this shop a few times prior to 2017 and was 100% satisfied then, too.Thank you Dennis, Sal and the team of mechanics who serviced my vehicle and went above and beyond to check and explain everything I asked for and more.Services: Electrical repair, Vehicle Inspection, Auto battery maintenance, Vehicle safety inspection

Tuffys is way more expensive than other places, I prefer belle tire. The estimate they gave me was 40% more than Belle tire.

I had a great experience with the guys at Tuffy's I would highly recommend these guys to anyone who needs literally anything car repair wise done. I had my alternator go out on my 97 camaro while at work, and these guys were super friendly and helpful. They were not only able to get my car in and fixed within 48 hours, but recommended a great tow truck driver for my car. (It has ground effects that would normally get smashed if put on a normal tow truck) they gave me the number to a great tow company that had no problem sending out a flat bed and getting my car there safe and with no damages to the ground effects. The service was fast and super friendly and understanding, even though this was a last minute thing and had no planned prior appointment. I will be taking my car here for all future repairs! Battery died while getting oil change at different shop. They recommended Tuffy s for a difficult battery change due to the type of car I have. Tuffy s got me in right away near closing, did the job in under an hour, and ended up charging me $100 less than they quoted me. Thank you Becca for your help and professionalism! The service representative Jordan went way above to assist me while I was driving a man who had very few days left. His demeanor was so wonderful it even help the owner of the car sister feel relaxed about the situation. Needless to say the owner of the car has passed on. Even though when you take your car to be serviced it may take a bit of time. Yet you can count on quality repairs. Sheila Wosik

Cheap, quality service. When I went in, I just told them what needed done and they did the rest. Better to go early so you don't have to wait long. They always offer good advice on how to properly care for your car. They gave my car a free exam and gave me a fair estimate of everything that needed to be fixed. Way cheaper than a dealership. Would go again, highly recommend.Edit: under new ownership, but still great service! They now make appointments!

If I could put 0 starts I will. We brought( on towing ) my husband s work Ford van to this car shop. We left it there and in the end of the day we stop by to find out what happened. Men ( unfortunately we don t remember his name) said that engine in our car dead but he didn t give us any ideas how we can fix it, he didn t give a quote for new engine and replacement work. He just said that to change engine is super expensive and he is ready to buy our van for 1,200$ just for car parts, he said that we have to call directly to him if we decide to sell it. We decided to get a second opinion because we weren t ready to get a new van and surprise other car shop was able to fix van and it wasn t engine at all. :((( Normally I don t do a bad reviews but this time it s just unbelievable and I hope the other people will not going to have this kind of troubles as we are.

This deserves less than 0 stars. My breaks no longer worked so I took my car here to get fixed. However, I ended up with more problems. They said my main issue was just the rotors and brakes, after changing that, they then told me i had to change my main cylinder. After paying over $1,200, the car made a sound on my front left wheel. Whatever they did they forgot to attach something back and a piece of my car was now hitting the tire then all my engine lights (Engine, Brakes, traction control, tire pressure ect...) came on which has never happened to this car before we took it in. We took it back it and they fixed it for $350+ again, the next day, all the dashboard lights comes on again, we called them and asked us to take it in, which we did and they are now asking for another $1,300+ to fix. This garage actually broke my car even more rather than fix it and are crooks trying to sip out money out of you. I came to get my car fix, I did not expect that I would have to keep bringing it in every single week because of something they did to my car. Now i'm left with a broken car. Avoid it at any cost unless you want to spend a lot of money and your entire time dropping off the car to them so that they can just make money off you.A week later now the car randomly dies, which had never happened before and only started happening with all the other issues that was cause from this garage. They changed my oil, and looking at the motor, it seems oil is sipping out of the filter and leaking which again, was never an issue before. This garage should not have a license to operate.
