Sparky auto associate. The guy stated" I would not fix this car", even before it was looked at. He was rude and offered unsolicited remarks.After I sat at the service center for 5 hours he comes out and says we can't fix it. He states" I could have charged you four hundred dollars for looking at the vehicle. I did not charge you". I asked what was the issues with the vehicle and he would not elaborate. He just says it has too many problems. I told him I generally get a list of problems that's related to the car so that I can address each time I bring it in. I felt he did not want to tell me because I would have those things repaired at another shop. This was the worse service I have encountered in sometime. Management should address his behavior. I will call a service manager.

Ritchie kept me up to date with status of car, gave me realistic time frame of when car would be ready and did a great job of explaining things to me and answering questions about my car. I'm really happy that he was able to get me in and out so quick, considering the work that was needed. I will definitely return for services when needed.

While I understand that there is a short staffing issue almost everywhere, 2.5 hours for a regular oil change is just unacceptable. Made an appt for 2 o clock got there 10 mins earlier. Completed some paperwork and then waited and waited and waited some more. Didn t leave the place until around 4.40 pm to be exact. Waiting 2.5 hours for an oil change is just unacceptable. Seems like you over book and yet lack adequate staff. I blame the management. Do better.

The service team here is great every time I work with them. My vehicle recently started making a terrible noise from one day to the next and they took a look right away, resolved it quickly and kept in contact throughout the process.

Terrific experience at Suburban VW of Troy. Traveled from west side of state on Thanksgiving day. Pff sound on the highway and suddenly loud noise during acceleration. Knowing that dealers were closed on holiday, I tried to get in nearest VW dealer in Rochester Hills first thing Friday. They would not help me. We already have 80 vehicles to fix.Drove down to Suburban, service advisor Richard Wallace was so kind and understood my need. He immediately took my Atlas for a drive and verified the concern. He said they would do their best to look at it today, even though they also had many vehicles awaiting repairs.They were able to diagnose charge pipe came disconnected from the throttle body. (the Kalamazoo dealer who fixed my coolant leak failed to put it back together properly)I picked up my Atlas before they closed at 6pm.Thank you Rich and tech Steven for getting me back on the road. Oh and did I mention...no charge?!

Edit: I connected with Amir and he redeemed my experience! They gave me a loaner car while they fixed an issue free of charge, and threw in a few extras for me. Amir was great to work with - friendly, considerate, and honest. If this was my only experience, I would have given them 5 stars however I can't do that simply due to their 24-48 hour policy and initial negative experience.My check engine light was on and other shops were not able to diagnose my car so they said to take it to a dealership. I called and made an appointment four days later. When I dropped it off at 8 am the day of my appointment, they said it would take 24-48 hours just to diagnose! They did not tell me this when I made the appointment, and I was very upset. They could not guarantee that I would my car would be diagnosed that day even though I dropped it off at 8 am. They didn't have complimentary rental cars if they didn't diagnose within a day and they were completely unsympathetic. Why make an appointment if you can't get in that day? Why are they over-scheduling? It's not for the benefit of the client, that's for sure.They said they fixed one thing but when I left it was still making the same noise. If I can help it, I will never be back.

While you won't find red carpets and champagne, you'll find friendly/ brass tacks service. The facility is clean and they employ a series of tools and services that provides transparency and makes the getting your vehicle taken of simpler. For example, if you're within 6 miles of their location they'll have an Uber available for drop off & pick ups. I've been using Suburban Troy's VW service for about 10 years now. Over the course of two VW's they've been helpful.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations

It's hard to describe the service at suburban Volkswagen. It depends on who you're talking to. Richie is amazing. I would give him 5 start. I took my Tiguan in and it required repairs that were somewhere between $6-10,000. So I decided to buy another used car. Edward, who I bought my car from is amazing. I would also give him 5 stars. But other than that my experience has been extremely frustrating. I had some warranty work (on the car that I had just purchased) that needed to be done and it took an insane amount of messaging and phone calls to get it accomplished. I practically begged for a loaner and they were never able to accommodate me. I bought a used Subaru from the Volkswagen lot and with that package came free lol changes. I called Subaru last week to see if I am supposed to take my car to VW or subaru and I was told I would receive a return phone call and I have yet to receive that phone call. It seems to me that unless you are shelling out thousands of dollars you are ignored. The basic premise of customer service seems lost. I have never had to hound and pester and call and email and text a business to get something done the way I have with this one. It so annoying that rather than deal with trying to schedule my FREE oil change I am going to pay to get it done tomorrow because I need to have it done before a road trip in a week.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great communication from the employee I worked with, found the problem with my car and communicated exactly what it needed done and how long it would take. They gave me a time of completion they stuck with there provided timing. I purchased my vehicle from Vroom 3 weeks before I brought it in the dealership, I was getting an Emergency trans. Mode keep driving on my 18 VW Tiguan and I called the dealership someone told me if you bring it in now at 10 AM we can at least tell you what it needs by the end of the day I said ok because I was off and I rented a car after I dropped it off, I didn t get a call from the dealership but I called around 4:40 pm before they closed and they said we didn t get to it and the next day they told me around 12 pm that it needs a shifter which was Thursday and they ordered it and Friday will be complete and I can pick it up. They received the part Friday and no one called me I had to call again before they closed and the guy I was dealing with told me that they had issues programming it I have to pick it up Monday and I told them listen I have no more money to pay $50 every day in a rental man and they said they don t give out rentals after I asked so I said ok Monday I can come pick it up he said hopefully will try to finish it. And Monday I called asked for a call back no one called back I had to go to the dealership and sit down for 4 hours to wait for my car I got it at 3:45 pm and under my steering wheel 2 wires were out I had to push them in and 2 clips by the shifter I had to push them down overall I didn t like the experience and caused a lot of issues at home and work and wasted a bunch of money I wasn t treated fairly and my car I forgot to say was under manufacture warranty still.
