I ve been coming here for over 7 years. John is the best. It is a family owned business and they take such good care of me and my vehicle. They have coloring booking and crayons for kids, as well as a multitude of snacks. They get you in and out and their service is unbeatable. If you need a ride, they will provide you one and get you where you need to go, while your vehicle is being serviced. Very reliable and affordable. A+ customer service.

From the moment I phoned to inquire about getting my vehicle fixed to dropping it off the following morning to picking it up in the afternoon, my experience was first class. I appreciated the professionalism and kindness. The price was reasonable.I recommend this Tuffy to anyone who appreciates being treated fairly and respectfully.

These guys are SUPER SLOW!!! Had an appointment at 9am my car was thereAll day and stayed the night next morning sat in the lobby for 2 more hours waiting for them to finish after they said, It would be done first thing in the morning!!! What does that mean? WTH!!! If you want something done quick DON T COME HERE!!! I WILL NOT be back!!!!

Satisfied 100% with the oil change and inspection that I received for my 2014 Audi at Tuffy Auto Repair. Great value also. I will be going back for service of 3 vehicles.

I strongly recommend you NOT go to this place. I only need to change the engine oil but they tried to rotate my tires that my car just did two weeks ago, they damaged few lug nuts and cannot fix them and then just ignore it. I have to take my car to Bell Tire to fix it and they ignore my two legal letters for the reimbursement.I saw your response below.you should receive my two legal letters and receipt.Please reimburse my cost.

Great service. This place sets a really high benchmark on how service should be done. The guys were very nice, friendly and extremely helpful . Oil change went really well.I highly recommend this shop.

I have been coming to tuffy for over 7 years. John and his staff feel like my family. I have always been pleased with my repairs until recently. My last 2 visits were not successful. Repairs on my vehicle and my sons car did not solve the problems at all. I have paid over $1000 and ALL the problems still exists. This is very disappointing because this affects our safety and I am worried every time we get into our cars. I am not able to afford $$$ another round of repairs that may not solve the problem.

Great place with great people! I brought my class B RV mercedes sprinter van in and these guys went above and beyond getting my problem resolved. Just could not ask for better service. I will refer all my friends to this shop in the future if traveling thru Michigan. Thanks again to Mike, John and the guys for helping me out.

Have been taking my truck here for a couple of years and have always trusted John and his staff. But after this last visit I will never go back. The man is a flat out cheat. He charged me 43% more for the parts for my truck than I can buy them RETAIL, and then didn t complete the job and I had to rent a vehicle for three days that cost me $200. John Hicks you are a rip off artist.Service: Exhaust

My first quote was around $1,800. It then went to $2,800, eventually it escalated into a bill of $4,795. I asked for advice and under Mike s expert opinion I was told it was definitely worth it. 3 months later, my car is at Troy Auto Care where it needs a new engine for $7k. I would not trust these jokers to fix a Radio Flyer. John s response was we fixed the upper engine and this is the lower engine, you have a bad bearing (pause) I don t know what to tell you. I told him I was taking it to the dealership because obviously fool me once GO TO TROY AUTO CARE THEY KNOW A LOT MORE !!!

Not happy at all with this place. It took them almost a week to fix my car (fuel pump). The manager (John) was rude and short with me on the phone. As though I was ruining his day by calling about my car. They never called me with updates or anything, I always had to call. They told me a price of what I owed (which was pricey in my opinion) and when I got there, I was told I owed $100 more because they went and fixed another issue without even calling me first! And finally, whoever worked on it, left big grease marks on the inside of my car (as seen in the pictures) above the window, on the driver s seat and cushion. Very unprofessional. If I could, I wouldn t even leave any stars for this rating. I m not happy at all and I ll definitely never come back here. I ll also be telling friends and family to not waste their time and $ here.

John's Tuffy is the best shop around the Royal Oak/Troy area. Their prices, their parts, their service, their dedication to finishing your vehicle on time, the quick service & accommodation for any & all vehicle types in regards to work & parts, as well. I have taken my previous Toyota here, I take my 15 year old F-150 here, I also take my brand new Jeep here. All the work completed is consistent, trustworthy & very well priced - you always pay what they quote you. From major body work, to engine work, brake systems, exhaust systems all the way to something as simple as an oil change & tire rotation - they will do the job thoroughly & parts will be ordered right away to ensure the job is done & done fast. I always feel they go above & beyond to make me feel taken care of & to ensure I understand exactly what is going on with the vehicle & the services they will be providing. The warranty on their services speaks to how much they trust their work & you should too. Call ahead - they get pretty busy on account of how many people are loyal to John's Tuffy. I am a Tuffy girl. I've taken my vehicle to John & his team several times, and they're always able help out. They're often able to get you in the next day & return your car in the same day. Once I stopped in unscheduled on a Sat, & they had me back on the road within a couple hours. Don't go this Troy store. The way they are handling customer is very vey bad especially the guy sitting in the first place. Very worst. I personally went and enquired about the price and then I booked an appointment for the very next day. They are flipping on the price and they are not loyal and they are not customer friendly and that guy was very rude and angry at customers.
