I went here to buy a Honda Accord. The first day the sales guy did a great job. But the second day when I came to sign and buy the car, he was terrible. He didn't even move the price a bit. So we went to Hyundai. Hyundai troy location is the worst- go to Hyundai in Southfield - they gave me a Amazing deal for a much better car with decked up interior and amazing technology and warranty. Love the new car. I was always a Honda fan but not any more. Treat your customers better.

Got my car back with 2 SCRATCHES ON CAR DOOR (would give -5 stars if it was possible)After my first horrible experience I figured "hey it's been 2 years, maybe what happened before was a misunderstanding, I'll give it another shot" (I needed my trans fluid flushed because the manual specifically says not to do it yourself, so whatever).Took my car in and got it back next day, thought it went well. Head back to work, later on get home and look at my car, sure enough two scratches right in the middle of rear passenger door, about an inch long, parallel to the ground (see picture attached).So far this establishment is -100/2, the customer service has been consistently horrible (rude/condescending, not informative or friendly in any way) and they try to squeeze every last penny for add-ons (although this is pretty typical). I have no idea where they are finding employees for the shop but I assume they are taking just about anyone considering the first time I went there they tried voiding my warranty and charging $1500, when I took it to Bloomfield dealership and they told me what the problem was and I went home and fixed it for free in 20 minutes. And the fact that they scratched my car door, said nothing about it, then I got a text asking if I would like to receive a survey to rate it. I replied "yes" and that "the service was terrible" and got no response... There was a "personal" number to call/text if I was unhappy, you can't even send text's to the number, so I called and left a message and never heard back.I partially take blame for going back to this place after the first terrible experience and vowed to never put myself through the headache again, but I genuinely don't think anyone should do ANY type of business here, at least with the service shop. It makes me question who is running this place, because this is unacceptable.Summary: I would rather throw my car in neutral, push it to a dealership in Ohio, pay 10x the highest rate in the country for the service, and drive to the mechanics house every weekend to do their yard work for the summer, than even drive past this dealership again. Will NEVER return and hope if you're reading this you choose literally ANYWHERE else, unless you enjoy being absolutely violated by people who couldn't care less.

Emily was an awesome sales associate. Not pushy or the hard sell mentality. She was calm and worked to make sure i was comfortable with every step. I would be happy to see her again for any future vehicle need!

Was pleasantly surprised that we received NO hard sell while we were in the process of purchasing our new Honda Civic. Very polite and knowledgeable sales person assisted us throughout the entire process with no pressure to buy a more expensive vehicle. Have avoided buying new cars for years because the experience became so painful.

Very bad services on the tires of my CRV. The car eventually got involved in an accident and was totaled. Honda mechanical design has problems and services are bad. Do not never buy a Honda.

The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and efficient. Jared in the service department is fantastic! I made a mistake scheduling an appointment online, but Jared got me on the schedule right away. A part needed to be ordered, which Troy Honda received and installed into my car within 2 days of the initial service. Best experience at a dealership by far, with fair pricing.

We consistently have excellent experiences with RICHARD Smiley. He pays close attention to details and always takes that extra step to ensure our car troubles are sorted. A month back we made an appointment for oil change online and it didn t go through, he still accepted our car and arranged a Lyft driver to drop us off at our house. There was time when we were puzzling over our exhaust alignment, we stopped by and he actually took time to walk with us through multiple cars in their parking lot to find the exact one we have and compare - it s that level of commitment that sets him apart. Today, we brought our car in to address a squealing noise when backing up and braking. Although the issue wasn't completely resolved, we appreciated the good service. Rich was honest, informative, and gave us some tips that we hope will help. We appreciate the quality service you provide for our Hondas. :)

I would give 0 stars if I could. Bought a used car from here couple months ago, and only put around 2,000 miles since owning the car. Then the car fails and leaves me with a repair bill over $3,000. This dealer did nothing to help me at all in this situation and do not stand behind their products I guess. Don t recommend this place at all if you want a reliable vehicle.

Purchased my new vehicle with Michael Smith (this is the 2nd time, after my previous vehicle was totaled in an accident). Always a pleasure working with him and the staff. Like last time, purchasing at Troy Honda is a very friendly process and hassle free. I would recommend Michael to any friends or family looking to purchase a new Honda vehicle.

If I could give 0 stars for the service department, I would. We had tires replaced on our Civic SI due to losing air. Assumed they needed replaced due to age (low mileage). After a couple of days driving it with the "new" tires, the low pressure light came on again. I looked at the paperwork, and the tires were all checked off in good condition. Why wouldn't we at least get a call to ask what the issue is since the tires didn't need to be replaced? Instead, we pay for new tires and still have the issue. I received a text from Ken Kline following up to make sure we were satisfied. Mind you, this was in August. I replied that we were still having the issue with no response. My spouse left multiple voicemails with no response. I sent another text, but there was still no response. I also requested them to look at the breaks as the front end seemed to be having issues. They were surprised by the request due to the low mileage, but guess what, they replaced the back brakes! I had issues with the front! So the front still has issues, and my tire pressure issue still isn't fixed. I want a refund so I can go elsewhere to get this resolved!

Mike Smith is a great guy, ask for him if you're interested in buying a new Honda. Recently, I purchased a Civic Hatchback from him at Troy Honda. Unfortunately, a month later, an accident caused that car to be totaled by insurance. After I got the news from the insurance, I went back to Troy Honda and told Mike my situation. Within a few days, he tracked down another Civic Hatchback--same trim, same color--and helped me to get the same deal from before the accident. The professionalism and kindness was something that I greatly appreciated after having been shaken up and extremely bummed out from the accident. I will undoubtedly be going back to Troy Honda for my next new vehicle purchase.

After a long time I happened to buy my new 2024 Honda CRV from Troy Honda. Turned out to be the right choice. My wife and I were very fortunate to have dealt with sales person, Mike Smith, who was an absolute professional. I don't think I've come across a better salesman. He was knowledgeable, courteous and had a pleasing personality, all prerequisites for his position. I feel I can vouch for that, having retired as a Sales Manager from an International Airline.I feel Troy Honda is lucky to have him on their team.

Purchased a new Pilot Elite and when we picked it up there was damage to the interior. It was not professional to have this vehicle available for test drives etc as we had immediately placed a deposit on it and purchased it on the same day. Maybe it was a bait and switch and they gave us a different vehicle which had a defect. We have now been waiting for months on the fix.Plenty of Honda dealerships in the area, I would recommend trying the other ones.

I called the dealership before any work was done on our vehicle. I told them to DO NOTHING except diagnose the problem. They did multiple things including making a $257 key fab and an oil change for a 2003 Accord that was going to be junked. I called multiple times to make sure they didn t do this. They charge $145 per hour and you can take your car to any Honda certified shop for $105. I was a very long time customer and even through I told them I d pay for the diagnostic services they charged me $616 for service done on a car that I told them NOT to do!!! Do not take your car here unless you want to get ripped off. Never again!!!! ZERO STARS for this place!!!! We were treated rudely and extremely unfairly.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE!!!11/22/23I have a certified 2019 Odyssey. Recently I have noticed standing water in the trunk floor (and under the carpet) every time it rains. I made a service appointment with them about a week later. By that time I soaked all the water out with towel from underneath the carpet and air dried it. When I reached at the dealership I explained them everything and I also told them that I left a towel under the carpet so it will be easier for them figure out water existence just by pulling it out after they run water over the car to test. Next day I get a call from them that they tested running water over the car for hours as well as they left the car out overnight when it was raining but they don t see any water in the trunk. So I go to pickup the car. After paying for some other services (oil change etc.) I get the key from them. I open the trunk then and there and guess what? THE TRUNK IS FLOODED!!! I went back to the service desk and tell them. One of the service member (not the same person who received the car from me at appointment day) comes out with me and verifies there is water and says there is nothing they can do since they are about to close for the day and suggested me to come back and drop off the car again so they can recheck. They set me up with another appointment 5days later (due to holiday and weekends) from today. As I was driving back home I realized a bad odor is coming from the trunk as the water form their testing is sitting there under the carpet for 3 days now. I ve been their regular customer for about 9 years now. I will probably still go to them because their location is convenient for me but I am very dissatisfied with the whole experience and I wish I could take my business elsewhere.

We bought a 2023 Honda Odyssey from Troy Honda. Michael Smith was very attentive. He listened to us and answered all our questions. The buying process was very easy and professional. I recommend both Troy Honda and Michael Smith.
