I have been coming to this place for 20 years. Kevin has tinted the windows on every car I have owned. He did the tinting on my ram and also took the badges off and color matched the front ram sign. Will always go to these guys for my family s cars.

They took as much care with my Ram as they would with the exotic cars it was next to in the shop! Erik was great to work with and very passionate about what they do. Excellent displays and a very comfy waiting room while my truck was being worked on. HIGHLY recommend! Thank you for a great job!

I will always recommend this place to everyone I am able to. I have gone there multiple times for different tints. I have now gotten my car fully tinted by them (windshield 30 percent and four windows 5 percent) before they did factory on the front two doors but I decided to go down percents. They did an amazing job on every one of them. They are very knowledgeable people there and amazing customer service. Very friendly and they are able to get you in as soon as possible depending on what time of year it is. Pricing is very reasonable there especially for the work they do. Highly recommend this place to anyone. It s very rare to find a place with this kind of great customer service and amazing work they did!Service: Window tinting

Brought my car in for full xpel stealth. These guys did it fast and at an amazing price. And the best part was their work. Attention to detail is amazing and I cannot be any happier with them. I ve seen work from other places and they do not compare to sunshade. I 10/10 recommend anyone why wants any work done to their car from tinting to ppf to go here. I talked to Kevin and he was awesome!

They were professional and nice. My windows look absolutely amazing and i will 100% be returning whenever i need my windows tinted again. Second time going to SunShade. I went last year and got 35% on the sides and 20% on the back. This year I went back to upgrade to 20% on the sides. Both times the guys at SunShade were amazing to work with, and took great care of my car. I will definitely be going to them in the future, and recommending them to all of my friends for any tinting or clear bra work.

Fantastic experience. They got me in quick and took the time to answer all my questions and advise on the best plan of action to address my concerns of protecting my new EV interior and visually match the front windows to the back. Very professional, skilled, and knowledgeable. There s a nice waiting area with Wi-Fi and amenities, but it didn t take more than an hour. Photo shows the precision and attention to detail! Trust is not easily given when it comes to my car, but this company knows what they re doing and has earned it! Very happy and will be coming back for any future tinting needs.

Absolutely the best. No one else will ever touch my cars for this type of work. The owner, Erik, is just a great human being and it carries through into his business and everything this company does. They do CUSTOM clear plastic wrapping, meaning they don't just use computer-cut kits - they make their own to fit your car perfectly and it goes over all the edges with absolutely minimal visibility. As a business owner myself, I know how hard it is just to get anyone these days to do what you actually pay for. Sunshade Window Tinting goes over and above. With 50+ 5-star ratings, ask yourself if there's even a point to bothering with anyone else. Just go to Sunshade and you will NOT be disappointed. Don't go to a competitor without at least calling and talking to Erik. Even when I came back well after the job they did, when I had questions about how to wash the car, Erik immediately set me up with another local business that knows how to clean and detail cars that have been wrapped - AND he even called to set me up with them! I don't really do reviews. But, I definitely view them before I head to a spot for anything. Honest review here... this is the place to go. Honest staff, great communication, and more importantly GREAT WORK. I've turned over 2 of my cars to them and I couldn't be more happy. On the website and in the lot, I see the corvetts and Teslas and Ferraris. My first thought, these guys aren't going to have time for a little guy like me, I'm bringing an edge! It was a little intimidating seeing the high dollar cars in the lot. But, I couldn't be more wrong. They took care of my edge like it was a Ferrari! Super flexible, awesome waiting room, easy access to the lot, and so much more! Listen, I've been to alot of places to get cars tinted over the years. Dr. Tinto has had my business for years! But, after they expanded to a second location some odd years ago, I didn't feel that personal connection between client and staff. I felt like a dollar sign. I mean, that's what a business is a business for, to make money. But here, I felt like I fit in. I felt like it wasn't about the money, it was about the product. And that's what I loved the most. SunShade is where it's at. I guarantee them all my business going forward. Can't wait to get a custom wrap job for them one day! Keep up the great work guys. Your whole team had my respect!!! Seriously, if you are in the market, come check the place out. Guarantee you will fall for this super casual lobby like I was.

What a great experience! I chose SunShade off of two referrals from friends. Great service and awesome people. They did the tint while I waited which was super convenient. 11/10 experience, and now I'll be referring them to everyone too!

Amazing service!! This is my second time using this company! First time I got my Durango windows tinted 6 years ago, great work and it lasted the entire time I owned it! Just got my truck windows tinted and I am so happy with it! Phenomenal workmanship and the waiting area is very comfortable and well stocked!! They also happen to be the most responsive and cheapest place around!! I was able to get a next day appointment and a lifetime warranty on the window tint!! Don t waste your time or money elsewhere!!!

These guys are the best in the business when it comes to protecting your vehicle. I've used them for years to protect multiple cars with paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, and window tint. Got my tint in August and it's cured great and looks sleek. The owner was super nice and easy to work with. Since I've never tinted before he ran me through all the options and explained ceramic vs non-cermic really well including a heat lamp demo. Highly recommend this place to others looking for tints.

5 stars are too low of a review rating. There are good tinting shops, there are even better tinting shops around, and then there are the best shops. However, there is only one local tinting service that is the best of the best, SunShade in Troy. Had the front side windows on a 2020 rapid red F-150 done. The tinting made the red F-150 one " bad boy" to be admired by others. Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you! Call Erik if you want my contact information. I'm writing this review about the vehicle photos and reviews on SunShade Window Tinting web site, not about their workmanship, attention to detail and client service, all of which are second to none. Don't let the big money car photos you see give you a perception of being " out of class" with your vehicle for their services. I've had work done on a 2020 Ford F-150 truck and a 2022 Ford Escape. Everyone gets the same high level of service. PERIOD !Now about the reviews. You may think that the number of highly rated reviews are either fabricated ormeant to deceive. The reviews are as legit, as legit can be. Mainstream advertising helps a business torun their business, word of mouth advertising helps a business stay in business. Sunshade Window Tinting in Troy is the real deal.

So after having to get one window redone after it got scratched, scheduling that was difficult. I now 2 weeks later rolled down the window and noticed that the edges are not what they promised, its not even and a mm off the edgeMy pictures are from the same front window, its gonna be annoying to look at.But after spending 800 on tint I feel disappointed now and I don't think I can really recommend this place to someone who really wants to get a good job.Erik hyped it up alot and said that everything was going to be perfect, wich its not bad no crease or bubbles but he lied about the edges say they would be seem less, but I can clearly see them so....Maybe if the car cost more they'd do a better job but idk I'll just find another place15 on the side 50 on the front

Outstanding quality of work and ease of scheduling an appointment. I simply sent their business line an SMS and they booked me the next day. Erik consulted with me and helped me to choose the appropriate film for my car. He s very knowledgeable about car customization in general, regarding everything from cosmetic to performance modifications. They use quality materials and have a very clean facility. Their films also come a lifetime warranty against defects. I will definitely be returning with more vehicles in the future.

These guys are the best. This is the 2nd time I have used SunShade and they do not disappoint. Both times I had some chrome wrapped/deleted. It looks AMAZING! I will be going back with future vehicles as well. Thanks guys!!

These guys are special! They are professional and knowledgeable, experienced and helpful. I was provided TOP NOTCH service and product. I felt very comfortable and taken care of.They also have a very nice facility and lobby area for waiting. I got my 2016 Maxima limo tinted yesterday. I absolutely love it! I'm super pleased!!! The fellas & young lady were super awesome. I felt like family as soon as I walked in. They were very patient & accommodating with me while I made a decision on whether I wanted to do 20% or limo. And they were very knowledgeable so I could make an informed decision. It's a brand new car all over again, but even nicer and much sleeker. I recommend anyone that wants tint to go here. And the price was absolutely reasonable. Very professional, very courteous. And they do more than just tint. This is a very talented staff. I'm confident that we will definitely see them on the Velocity channel soon to represent the Motor City because they need to be!!!

Had the two front windows done. Price was good and competitive. Able to get a same day appointment and the work was completed rather fast. Environment was laid back and friendly, but most importantly, the windows look great and the work seems to be well done. I had tinting installed on my four doors and rear windscreen. Every person I interacted with were very professional, the job was completed quickly and for a reasonable price. They have comfortable waiting room that has lounge type chairs or a desk option which I used to work during the installation. The waiting room was equipped with water, coffee and wifi. This type of business competency is rare these days, use this company if you want a great experience.
