Brought my car in for a variety of repairs and maintenance including replacing the front brakes and drums as well as replacing front strut mount bearings. With my reservation, they provided a loaner which worked out well. Repairs were completed in a fairly quick manner. I returned the loaner, paid, and was sent on my way.Upon arriving home I decided to take a closer look at the work done. I noticed that one of the three strut mount bolts that help hold the front suspension to the car was sheared off. It s a safety concern and I m disappointed that they would return a paid for repair to a customer in this condition. This also makes me question if the fluid changes I requested were actually completed.I returned to the dealership first thing the next day to point out the problem. They did not seem overly concerned or apologetic. They did set me up with a loaner from their B fleet and it took them another two days to complete the repair.TLDR - Inspect your car closely after having a repair done at Suburban Volvo or find somewhere else to service your car.

The staff at Suburban Volvo has always been top notch. I have had numerous Volvos from them and just recently I thought I would go outside of the brand and found myself back at Suburban Volvo buying another volvo as my 2nd vehicle! I trust the team there and wouldn t take my car anywhere else for service. From the purchase of the car, to the continued maintenance, I always go back to Suburban Volvo and that won t change. :)

Scott and his team were great to work with during the purchase of my car. Even though is was a low cost car they still treated me with respect and did not prejudge be based on what I could afford at this time. Other places were always trying to talk me into something more expensive. The team at Volvo of Troy listened to me and what my needs were and did everything possible to help me get into a car that met those needs. I truly think that shows the professional attitude of a dealership that cares about the customer more than selling what they want to sell. I would recommend these guys if you re looking for a brand new car or just something to get you back and forth to work. A+ on all levels

We had such a great experience shopping for our new car. Chad K was absolutely wonderful walking us through all the available cars, best features, and options to make sure we ended up with something we'd love. Communication was quick, Chad was always honest and upfront, and genuinely just a great person to talk with while we navigated this process. Jonathan S was extremely helpful at the end walking us through the purchase and financing docs. Gillette Warden in service has always been extremely thoughtful and made sure that I was taken care of over the years. He is a gem and someone who makes service more personal and caring even though no one likes to need service. I d be glad to work with Gillette again if I buy a Volvo in the future.

I WAS CHARGED $46k FOR A $39k TRUCK. By far the most unethical service I ve ever encountered.I m 33 years old and a small business owner who has enough stress as it is and I went in here to buy a truck hoping to make my life easier.I test drove it and loved it except for the fact that the tires were bad. When i came in I was shown a piece of paper that said $39k and broke down the payment to $888/month with coverage.(They supposedly took off $1400 for the bad tires).I was wizzed through paperwork on a tablet with signatures and then when I took the truck home I find i was charged 6k* for services and fees .Not to mention, the truck started shaking and going all over the road the second day because it needed an alignment (wasn t properly inspected before my purchase like they promised). So I had to postpone a job if mine.If I could give zero stars i would. Definitely go somewhere else and don t buy here!

Very smooth experience. My salesman Chad was quick to reply to our email questions, was unhurried when we came for a test drive and made us feel like we were his only customers. I would highly recommend giving him and the Suburban Volvo team a chance to earn your business.

The WORST experience ever! Go elsewhere.I purchased a certified pre owned Volvo XC-40 from this dealer. They assured me it had no damage/accidents reported on it sold me the vehicle. Less than 1 year later we are trying to sell it to upgrade to a larger family vehicle. Upon trading it into several dealerships, we were informed that there is 1 damage/accident reported on this vehicle from 2021, which is 2 years before we purchased it. I contacted the sales manager at the dealership who stated that the CARFAX they provided me upon the sale of the vehicle showed 0 damage/accidents and does not know why the CARFAX now shows it has a damage/accident reported. Based off this, we concluded that the CARFAX that Volvo of Troy provided to us was fraudulent and they are failing to take accountability for this. The sales manager hung up the phone on me and refuses to answer my phone calls.Aside from this issue, the entire process was painful. When we purchased the car, they submitted the loan information inaccurately after shotgunning our credit scores out to several lenders and then having to reverse the already funded loan due to their error.This dealer and their staff are extremely deceptive and a bunch of liars who take advantage of customers. I ve already filed a complaint with the BBB, so we will see how this pans out.

Bad experience. Called in for some pretty routine warranty work related to our XC90. Had just relocated up here from Florida. At our previous dealership we had a wonderful experience with warranty work. Drop off car, car fixed, and carry on with our life.When I arrived to drop off our vehicle, I was told that there would be multiple charges up-front just to have the techs look at our vehicle. We purchased our XC90 with a third party bumper to bumper warranty. I was informed that just to pull our car into the back it would be $300 per issue stated, and an additional $500 processing fee to bill our warranty company. None of these costs would be considered when it was time to pay deductible with our warranty company.The manager was extremely rude when I protested all of this, stating that our previous experience with other Volvo dealers had never required any of this large up-front cost. It was a typical experience of drop off car, get car fixed, pay money.I m glad I walked out, because we were able to find a company who gladly took our business in the manner we are used to and settled up our warranty claim and we re back on the road without the dangerous issues they let us drive off with.Subpar customer service, rude manager in the service department, and extraordinary expenses required up front just to have your vehicle looked at. Was not a great way to be welcomed back home and none of this was communicated up front - so I wasted half of my day - hopefully this review will save someone else some time. Go literally anywhere else on earth.

Michael and the team at Suburban Volvo did a great job. Michael was very responsive and was able to show me the volvos in stock that fit my needs and requirements for features. I highly recommend the dealership, the Volvo brand, and Michael Koan! I wouldn't hesitate to return and send any family or friends to him.

I am really hesitant to leave this review as the one star doesn t reflect my experience when purchasing my car but my interactions yesterday and today have really questioned the brand that Volvo is trying to be. My car got a flat tire yesterday after hitting a pothole and was taken to this dealership early afternoon. I did not accompany my car as it was the middle of the work day but I received no callwhen my car arrived yesterday and no call today to inform me that my car was there, let alone, being serviced. I spent over 2 hours on the phone today trying to get ahold of someone for the service department and when I finally did, he was unapologetic and stated that he had been having a very busy morning. Lastly, I requested a loaner car because my tire change was expected to take over 24 hours. I was informed that there were none there at the time but they would look around and get back to me. No call back. No follow up. Bottom line is that if Volvo wants to be considered a luxury car brand, they need to function like one and price their automobiles like one but don t pretend to be something you do not represent all around.

This is our second time working with Suburban Volvo, Moe is fantastic and I highly recommend working with him. Jon in the finance department was also really great to work with. We don t live in the area, but prefer working with this dealership over our local Volvo dealership.

Michael Koan did an excellent job of demonstrating the XC90 we ended up purchasing. His follow up and follow though were both top-notch. extremely competent and great to work with in this purchase. Likewise, his colleage Jonathan Smith (credit manager) did a wonderful job assisting Michael on a day when we took delivery and Michael was out. Seemless, professional, and informative. This was by far the absolute BEST new car purchase I ve had! Wow! Chad Kyre & Jonathan Smith are two of the easiest ppl to work with. Chad, our sales person is extremely knowledgeable and very personable, I honestly can t remember a better one. My 2024 XC60 is amazing! HUGE bang for the buck! I ve been in a year and a half long nightmare with Volvo. It started when I bought an electric Volvo from them in May 2022. It immediately had electrical issues and I took it in to Suburban multiple times only to have them tell me I didn t know how an electric car worked. The then service manager told me to talk like an adult when I asked him to let me please finish my sentence when he kept cutting me off and preventing me from explaining the issue. I took it to another dealership who had the car for a month and a half and figured out there was an electrical issue. With everything, I ended up having Volvo repurchase the vehicle through the Lemon Law. Now I have all these warranties I ve been trying to get rid of for 6-7 months now and the financial services manager Jonathan Smith absolutely will not help me. He has been telling me since May he is looking into it. I ve received only 2 refunds from the warranties and as time goes on, I ll get less and less of the refund owed to me.STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP. The only easy thing about working with them was the purchase of the vehicle! Once you purchase, you are on your own and they are horrible. Awful. Frustrating people who WILL NOT HELP YOU. I cannot believe this is what has come of Volvo.
