I would highly recommend this Pep Boys, my mother has brought her vehicle here for years and they are very honest mechanics which is what I look for. I always recommend this shop to many in this area as finding truthful mechanics are becoming increasingly more difficiult within this time and age. Their pricing is great compared to most shops and the dealership, and the shop appears clean alongside the waiting area is very nice. Complementary water and snacks. Can't beat it. Ask for Charles and he'll take great care of you like he has for us!

Charles was great! came in for a steering wheel issue and they were able to figure it out, order parts and completed it all within less than two days. amazing service and amazing turn around. happy to give them my business anytime in the future :) and only 35 bucks for a diagnosis of the problem in the first place, can't beat it!

Pep Boys provided amazing service today. A flat on Saturday turned out to be a punctured side wall. It was nearing time for new tires anyway. On a Sunday I had 4 new tires and plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. I recommend this shop! The price was fair and again the service was above and beyond!

I had a wonderful experience! I hadn t previously had my car serviced here and they still graciously rotated my tires for FREE! Additionally they did a full inspection on my car. Agim serviced my vehicle so quickly, wait time was less than expected, and the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming here for all future vehicle maintenance needs. These guys helped me out tremendously!!! I had an issue with an order at another location , and just a phone call made to them from another pep boys they honored my online purchase by making sure they would be the ones taking care of me. These guys not only went to another location to retrieve my tires that I needed but upon my inspection they were able to show me that my tire rods were bad and this was something that was supposed to be originally fixed from another companyThat scammed me I had another appointment to make while sitting here but calmly sat here and let These great people get me together the right way #Safetyfirst 5 would be rating this location far too low .Thanks guys you made a huge difference for me ....

By far the best repair place I've taken the truck. Done within a day and I couldn't believe it. Thought for sure like 2-3 days but we're talking hours... Check them out fair prices and the job gets done.

I had a great experience with Pep Boys, I needed a oil change and decided to try Pep Boys. The staff was very caring. I had arrived early and they made sure I would be serviced as soon as possible. My car left cleaned and sanitized. Great work Pep Boys! I definitely will share my experience with my friends and family.

I love this place! Everyone is so kind and helpful. They are great at communicating problems and getting the repair done. I usually get my car back the same day or no later than the next day. I will definitely be back!

Had my serpentine belt snap (because my pulley froze) and had to limp up to the closest shop. Charles and his staff were quick in diagnosing and fixing the problem. A big thank you!! I expected to be without a vehicle for days and they made it only 4 hours. Big win! Can t thank you enough.

Nice people. Had a leaky punctured rear tire right around closing time. They could not repair it as damage was on the shoulder and they did not have my odd tire size in stock to replace but they did the next best thing and inflated and put on my spare at no charge to make sure I get home safely and don t have to do it myself in the dark on the side of the road. Thank you

Stopped in today for an oil change. They did a tire rotation as well. The girls at the counter and manager Charles were so helpful! I had some terrible experiences at a competitor and so happy I found this place. While I waited for my car, they offered beverages and kept checking on me while I worked in the lobby. Very accommodating and customer focused!

I have gone to the same place for years for new tires, I randomly decided to call this Troy location to get a counter quote and let me tell you they have earned my future business. The manager Charles is a very stand up and honest guy, not only does he embody professionalism he goes the extra mile to make sure his customers are taken care of and are happy. I m highly impressed and would recommend his services to anyone I know.

Charles And Kevin are both phenomenal at their jobs Charles always had a smile on his face, and explained everything in detail. Made sure he answered all our questions. Kevin went over our car with a fine tooth comb, and made sure everything was in working order. Will def be back! Thank you Pep Boys.

Charles, Dan, and Chris were all wonderful to work with. Great customer service and timely repairs at reasonable prices.My car is in production in the US as well as overseas. Depending on where it originates from, different parts are needed. Mine so happens to be one that rolled off the line overseas.I initially had another shop give me a quote and then hold onto my car for a week because they ordered the wrong parts twice. Once they realized what was going on, they tried to QUADRUPLE the price. Needless to say, I declined.I took my car to Pep Boys and explained the situation. They also had some issues with getting the right parts...BUT, unlike the other shop, these gentlemen stuck to their word and honored their initial quote to me.I cannot express how amazingly rare this is nowadays!They've made notes on my account that my car needs imported parts so moving forward, there shouldn't be any hiccups with correct fitment.I've already recommended this shop to my family and I will absolutely be bringing my patronage to them for future repairs!Thank you all for your hard work! I appreciate your integrity and work ethic!

I've only had great experiences here. This is honestly the best place to take your vehicle for service. Never have to worry about getting ripped off or the job done incorrectly. Charles was super helpful, and Cameron did a great job.

DO NOT GO HERE! Made an appointment for the one that told me they were open on Sunday online. Drive all the way here, 30 minute drive, just to have them closed. It s 2024 update your website. If you allow online appointments make sure those appointments are for when you re actually open maybe? That seems like a smart idea.. I m extremely mad, and I will no longer be coming here for anything ever again. Also, the outside is trash, nails all over, glass in the driveway, garbage location. Don t even waste your time here.

Charles took great care of my vehicle and service was incredible. Charles sets an example for how management reflects a company as a whole. He makes sure the customers are comfortable and happy. For this reason I will be back for all of my vehicle s service needs.

The location was able to get me in last minute for a tire repair and fixed very quickly. Other shops in the area were quoting 4-5 hour waits so being able to repair without waiting half a day was great service! The team was friendly and professional and kept me updated during my brief visit. Thank you!!

Going to have to revise this down. They did a great job fixing my flat tire, then I bought 4 new tires from them, but when I made an appointment to have those new ones re-torqued as they recommend, I encountered a very rude manager who basically told me she had no clue when they could do the work as 2 others were ahead of me and that the appointment I made was worthless. The regular manager they have is a nice guy but the fill-in they have on Sunday couldn t manage her way out of a paper bag. Not sure I ll be returning here after I eventually can get my tires re-torqued (hopefully).

Servicing my vehicle (new brakes) at the Troy MI Pep Boys location yesterday went well. Staff is courteous, timely and competent. I'll certainly return to this location for my future needs.

Went in for a tire change and everything was great. Staff were not pushy and didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I don't need which is a huge plus.Would highly recommend this pep boys location

The store manager was very understanding and prompt with his service. I was able to get my car's maintainence and repair done at a much lower cost than quoted by other Midas stores. I particularly appreciate the store managers clear explanation of the charges and readily performed rework on my car when I wasnt satisfied with their initial service. Topnotch customer service and quality repair/maintainence work.

I had my car tires changed this morning with them and was very happy overall. They have good tires, good prices and the manager Charles Giffin and his guys do excellent service! I definitely recommend Pep Boys on Stephenson Highway!

I ve never delt with pep boys in the past, but after the experience I had the other nite I would highly recommend the staff at the Troy store. Shy,Cameron and Bear were there to help me. I had my truck towed in just before closing and before I finished explaining my problem they had my truck in a bay. They ALL couldn't have been more pleasant and had me on my way in under a half an hour. This was even more appreciated since I had to wait 3 1/2 hours in the cold waiting for a tow.Thanks again

Took my daughter s car in for a tire rotation and alignment at 4 on Saturday. It turns out her tires were in REALLY bad shape and needed to be replaced. I had never been to this place but, as a woman, am unfortunately used to getting hustled when it comes to car repairs. But this time I did not feel like I was being scammed at all. He showed me how bad the tires actually were and they were clearly not safe for my daughter to drive. He quoted me a price for all 4 tires and then realized he didn t know if he had 4 of those tires. He said if he did 2 of the cheaper ones but had to use 2 better ones he would still honor the original price. He was able to get all 4 of the tires and did the alignment as well. I was pleasantly surprised that I was charged $100 LESS than quoted. Charles was exceptional. Clearly he is a dad and understands how important the safety of our kids are. This was the first time in my 63 years that I actually felt comfortable bringing my car in to be serviced. They were honest, respectful, personable, efficient and friendly. Shoutout to Charles for being genuine. There was a good vibe among the employees and you could tell they had good teamwork!! Shy was very nice and helpful. Cameron s did an excellent job putting on the tires and I believe Kevin was helping to get the job done quickly as well. We were out of there by 615! Thanks for doing such a great job. I have already bragged about you all to my family!!

I had a great experience. I came to this location because they were open on Sunday and I hadn't ever been to a Pep Boys before. Shylynn helped me out and gave me honest feedback on time. There was another person ahead of me and that would probably be another hour before they could get me in. No worries. Proper expectations set.The mechanic (Bear i think was his name) was able to look at the car in less than that time. Unfortunately, my rear calipers had seized and killed my brakes/rotor/calipers. Front brakes were alright though.Shylynn looked up parts and was able to get them sourced from local places at a fair price. Altogether, the total time was around 3 hours which wasn't bad with last minute reservation, sourcing, and getting the work completed. I was quite pleased with everything.Shylynn and Bear are a great team and communicated effectively and honestly. This is how to get repeat customers!
