Amazing staff, free inspection, and it was highly detailed. They found the problems right away. Plus, they have fair pricing. And the showroom is beautiful, you feel like you re getting top-notch service.

John R Spring: simply they get it done. One of metro Detroit's best shop for trucks---especially if you need leaf springs rebuilt and a leaf added. John R Spring has done both of my trucks.

The center leaf spring broke on my 2008 Ford F150. Spoke to Chris and they were able to rebuild my existing spring pack for much less than a full replacement. Highly recommend these guys! Thank You!

I had been looking for a car repair shop for about a week, happen to find out that there was one right in my neighborhood close to my apartment. Went in and talked to Dave, explained what was going on with my car and he told me that he was busy right now but if I could come back tomorrow early, he would have one of his guys look at it, and that he did. Dave gave me a FREE estimate and a very reasonable price for everything that needed to be done. Will be going back next week for my repairs. Hats off to Dave for being honest and not taking advantage of a woman when she comes in by herself when she has to.Hello again everyoneHad to go back to John R Spring Services this morning to see David about my car.On yesterday I pulled out of a parking spot I was in and tore off part of the black panel that holds the two pipes that are in the back of my Ford Fusion. David said it was something that they don't do, but he would have one of his guys look at it and see if he could put it back on. Ten minutes later, the panel was back on. I truly thank God for David and his guys, because as a woman who doesn't know jack about cars and repairs I thank you David for your help and kindness.

They are awesome!!I brought my 1968 Plymouth Satellite there for an alignment. I just did a full front end rebuild so the car was extremely off on alignment. I called multiple places and John R Springs was one of the only places to work in classic cars. They have some talented and good mechanics there. It took 3 alignments to get it right but it's absolutely perfect now. I could not have asked for a better job from these guys. I highly recommend them.

I m from out of town staying locally with brother. Pulled my travel trailer up from Florida and couldn t get the sag out of my 2023 Ford F150. I ve done business with Dave Roy in the past with similar issue on a Chevy Silverado 1500. Dave suggested installing a helper leaf bar to my trucks he said this will help support my vehicle during towing. After picking up the truck I quickly hooked up my trailer with the weight distribution equipment and BINGO! No more truck squat. I immediately took the truck trailer up on i-75 and noticed a very smooth ride not to mention safer ride.Thanks to John R spring I m now enjoying the towing experience! Dave Roy the manager is TOP NOTCH in customer service. (Side note) Dave walked me out and showed me the installation explaining brackets and new leaf bar. Honestly folks in todays world who does that level of service anymore.!Thanks again Dave Roy. I ll be back if I ever switch my truck.

Great service and fair prices. Would not have thought of taking our cars there (they seem to cater to trucks and commercial vehicles) but they were recommended by another mechanic we highly trust who didn't have the equipment for a front end alignment.

Great tire service fixed 2 tires and no complaints, no leaks same excellent balance. Will come again! Tire repair tech explained all repair options and preferences. Very happy.

Have been here a few times, but the last visit is the testimony.Long and short, though I needed leafs. JrS pulled the rear end apart and inspected everything. They discovered there was no problems.John R Spring refused to let me pay for their time invested. All they asked was that the next time I did need suspension work I would bring my vehicle there. I need to add that the price that I was quoted for the work I requested was extremely fair in the first place. This business is a true old school gem! Their work, quality, and business ethics are top-notch

Received 2 quotes from Belle Tire.1st quote of $1400 for tie-rods, bearings, control arm. 2nd quote of $1750 for shocks & struts.The next day, took my car to John R Spring & Tire for a second opinion. They agreed with needing Belle's $1400 repair, but did it for $400 less! As far as the shocks & struts, they were fine! That potential $3150 repair at Belle Tire turned out to be a total $1000 repair with the guys. I'm a first st time customer, and felt they were very honest and straightforward, with no bs. Had this place install my front leafs on my F250 and they did a great job. Quick and easy. Fair pricing. Aligned it afterwards as well. I also purchased some U bolts from them and they do great work. I'll be coming back to have the rears replaced in the future. My father in law has been going here for years as well as his brother and they've always recommended then to me. I would definitely recommend to others as well. Honest people and great prices.

I need a set of leaf springs for my Ford ranger level II pick up and they were no longer available through the Ford dealership. I planned on replacing them myself. The counter guy was extremely helpful and brought out a couple of different springs to match What I had. Anyway I the ride quality is great and price was good also.

My leaf spring shackels rusted off my truck and I needed to replace them, but found the bolts seized in the bushings. Had to cut the bolts off and have the old bushings pressed out and new ones pressed in. John R Spring and Tire did an excellent job replacing my bushings. Job was done quick and reasonable priced. Dave was excellent to work with. I highly recommend them.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Their availability has been great, and their prices have been fair. I m quite happy with the stock alignment they performed on my Audi TT, and the custom alignment on my Miata.

This place is awesome. I was told I needed new leaf springs from a dealership. I took my truck in to John R Spring, needed nothing. they also checked my front end alignment. Did all this for free. A co worker of mine was getting a plow put on his truck and called 4 days after dropping off the truck to check on the status of it, after being told it would only take a day to a day and a half, the person who he was speaking to was inceridibily rude and disrespectful on top of tell him no one has even touched the truck and it would be another 3 days till it was done. After just listening to him talk to them I can tell they have horrible customer service and i would not recommended them to everyone. I m so glad he went to pick up my truck and took it somewhere else.

I brought my work truck in for front end repair. They replaced both lower ball joints, both inner tie rod ends, and did an alignment. The price was very fair and the work was exceptional. The front end mechanic is Dave. He worked at Bruce's Front End Shop on Woodward in Royal Oak. 20 years ago I took 2 vehicles to him and both were repaired perfectly. Dave knows front ends. I was glad to find him again in the area. If you need front end work I highly recommend John R Spring. They also have a top notch reputation for spring and snow plow repair.
