I used J and M Collison after my car got backed into, & I 100% recommend. My car is blue they matched the paint repairs and did the body repairs perfectly. I m a 25 yr old girl who was nervous to find & trust a collision shop but these guys were patient, treated me as one of their own kids, & gave me so much great advice. I will recommend to everyone.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I recently moved to the area and had a neighbor hit my car and take out my mirror. I was told I would most likely need a new door and was very nervous. J & M made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked into their shop. They are very personable and know what they are talking about. I will be going here for any future car repair needs.

I will never go to anyone else again. They fixed my car so well it looks brand new. They even repaired the horrible job done from a previous accident. They even painted a letter on my license plate that had worn off. Great place and highly recommended.Service: Auto body & trim repairService: Auto body & trim repair

Incompetent, sloppy, or simply a greedy scammer. Made an appointment and after he had the car 5 days it is worse than before. He did nothing for 4 days, would not even return a call. He does very little, then parks it with hatch unlatched and kills the battery. Doesn't clean his mess (I had it detailed before dropping off) and he ruined the taillights. Don't even think about letting him near your car. Doesn't bother to take/return your calls. Don't leave your car with this hack, there are a lot of good places to go to instead.

These guys are the best. Had to get a pretty serious amount of front end and underbody work done - they were quick, professional, and helpful. Kevin was very patient through all my questions, helpful, kept me up to date throughout the process, and even helped me get a new tire when the first replacement one had a leak. If you need a shop to do good work pronto, hit these guys up for sure.Services: Painting, General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

This review is long overdue.I first learned of J & M in 1996 when I lived in Troy. I accidentally clipped a rear view mirror and left a note. The owners of the car called me and told me I could just pay $200 or so dollars to J & M. I thought that was nice of the car owner to keep it reasonable, and I found J & M very professional and honest.Flash forward 20+ years later and I'm in Clawson, now. My daughter's car was hit-n-run, so J & M was the first place that came to mind! The fact that they were still in business 20+ years later (probably more) did not go unnoticed to me.True to their reputation, Vicki at the front desk and Kevin my estimator were professional, courteous and honest. I had an additional dent in my bumper the size of a baseball that Kevin told me was not worth the $700 out-of-pocket to repair on a 10 year old car. He said to throw a bumper sticker over it. I appreciated his honesty. My larger damage was very reasonable at $1500 or so to repair a damaged driver's fender, headlight and hood. I've had no issues with the repair since the damage was fixed.I can not say more than the wonderful things that have already been said about J & M. See for yourself, next time you need auto-body repair services.AS

Everyone at J&M was super helpful when I needed an estimate after a car accident. Incredibly patient with the insurance going back and forth and super up front and honest about the whole process. Would definitely recommend!

My Honda CR-V car front passenger door got tapped by shopping cart and when we close and open the door it was making a weird noise. I thought it might be an expensive repair and went here to get for quote to get it done. The owner who inspected my car tweaked tapped place professionally and surprisingly without any repair the sound disappeared with door open and close. When I asked owner to pay anything for this inspection and repair and he said I don't need to pay anything for it. I visited this place based on peoples reviews and I feel the same to encourage others . J & M Thank you so much for all your help in fixing my car. Appreciate it all your efforts.

Very honest, professional, and respectful of their customers. Went out of their way to fix my broken passenger door latch and gave me an honest and excellent price for a highly difficult job. Others may have just replaced the door at a great expense to me. Kevin kept me well informed by phone and explained things very well. It was fixed in a very timely manner. The establishment was very clean and had an excellent ventilation system. What more can you ask for. Please consider Kevin and his gang if you are unfortunate enough to need collision services.

Had body work and replacement parts done on my Mercedes. Steve and Kevin did a phenomenal job and are so nice, personable, and considerate. Quality work and quality people. Highly highly recommend J & M Collision.

I had a wonderful experience with J & M, they were prompt with their Service, accurate with their Quote and punctual with their time-line.They made that dent disappear, as if it was never there.It was a completely hassle-free experience, and would 100% recommend them to anyone who needs to have their Vehicle taken care of.

Great experience! Kevin was the only one out of the 4 repair shops I visited who actually physically inspected the damage before writing an estimate, and without a charge!! A very understanding and kind gentleman. They have a very good team of professionals who deliver on time. Will definitely refer others to take J M Collision's opinion before making a decision.

I have been going to J & M Collision for over 20 years. Not only does Kevin and his staff do first class repairs, this is one of the few shops who quote reasonable, honest prices. He even lowered my estimate one time after the repair was done because he said it didn't need as much work as he originally thought it did. How many shops have I experienced that at? Only this one.

These guys were great! My car had serious damage and fixing it was a big undertaking. I wasn't initially thrilled because when I picked up my car the alignment was a bit off (again, there was a lot to fix) but what makes them a 5 star company is how they reacted. They stopped what they were doing and immediately made my car a priority. They worked with my insurance company so I didn't have to and they got the car back to me quickly. There isn't a single company out there who will always be flawless (especially on a car like mine) so what truly defines a company is how it will respond if a "mistake" is uncovered. I could not have asked them to handle things better than they did and I will use them again in the future.

Outstanding work. I was treated right by these guys from start to finish. J&M fixed my front end after a nasty collision and did a fantastic job. More importantly, after I was paid up, I noticed a subtle visibility problem (distortion) with the new windshield. They didn't play games--installed a brand new windshield within ONE DAY at no charge.Thanks!!!

Trustworthy company with what, over 30 years in business at the same address! Ask for Steve as he ll evaluate the whole vehicle in order to return it to you as it was before your accident/refurbish/etc. or better!

I've had three cars at Kevin's shop: An aluminum bodied sports car, and two SUVs. Two of the incidents were out-of pocket, and the most recent was covered by the insurance.In short, the work and the service were outstanding. I went to an insurance recommended shop for another incident, and the process was much more involved.Kevin is honest and diligent. I wholeheartedly recommend this business.

Kevin is such a nice guy!! We had a problem with our car, it was totaled and he let us keep it at his shop until we could figure out what to do with it. He was extremely helpful and sincere. Honestly, I trust him the most out of every other place we have gone to. I will definitely be back!!

I have a classic which I would like to do some restoration, nothing huge but if there is rust they just don't want to even look at it... Tried two times with two different cars and the same thing... Seems that they just like changing parts...

Awful, awful, awful service. Waited 3 weeks for an estimate, 6 weeks for repairs that weren't even executed properly. Came back with the AC broken ( hadn't been before) and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. They agreed to fix the shoddy repairs that should have been done correctly in the first place and then never delivered. My family has been coming here for 20 years but the service and professionalism has really nosedived.

This workers here didn t have any mask on and were being very rude and also wanted to charge me $1000 dollars to paint a lip and side skirt extensions which were very small pieces, very disappointed in the service here. Don t recommend at all.
