I needed warranty and recall work on a new MB Sprinter. MB has a very limited authorized service network so I found it difficult to get an appointment at first but it was clear to me they are covering a very broad region - more than one would expect - so an appointment further out could be a potential until the MB Sprinter service network is improved. Recommend awareness to the limited MB Sprinter network and be patient :).Once I placed the vehicle in their hands (several recalls and an elusive leaking transmission), they went right to work getting the recalls corrected and being meticulous in resolving the transmission fluid leak. Some may think these should be simple tasks, but the complications and sophistication of the vehicle engineered components are not simple tasks anymore. You need a seasoned team to diagnose and resolve so the work is done right and professionally.Jake - Thanks to you and team for the work done to date.

The team here is absolutely fantastic. Having worked with everyone from sales to service to deliveries and administrative, I have nothing but great things to say. I would recommend Hoekstra to anyone looking for high quality vehicles and even better customer service.

I'm happy to see nearly all of the reviews are great because that has been my experience. I've been taking my 2008 Sprinter based Class C RV here since I bought it in mid 2017. Considering the alternative of taking it to a Mercedes dealer or worse, an RV service center, I feel very fortunate to have Hoeksta so close. Jake is very personable and upfront about scheduling and what service is needed. They stay very busy with fleet work so you have to schedule ahead to get your RV worked on. I consider Hoeksta a very fortunate find.

Beware, the mechanics here are clueless. Went in for issues with my Sprinter and almost $5000 later I was still left with a van that wasn't running right. The issue ended up being related to commonly reported problem which cost less than $300 to repair elsewhere. The last week (of almost 3) my van was in the shop I was given a loaner that had dangerously bad hub bearings which reflects on how incompetent these guys are; they can't even keep their own equipment in good running condition. THE WORST.

First of all, I highly recommend this place for working on Sprinters. They are remarkably knowledgeable mechanics and provide exceptional service.I came here with my 2008 Dodge Sprinter. I was in a hurry due to a bad experience at a Dealership and needed it seen ASAP. These guys got me in the very next business day and took a look that evening. What service!I had been to several mechanics over the past year trying to diagnose and fix a turbo underboost issue on my 2008 Dodge Sprinter. It's been a remarkably tricky issue, and it's resulted in me learning the ethics and experience of several service centers in different states. Talking on the phone with the mechanic that diagnosed my Sprinter, it was immediately apparent that he knew what he was talking about and that he had followed a methodical set of steps to rule out potential causes.We finally ended up stuck because all the usual suspects had been ruled out and it could *possibly* be a bad EGR valve. They were very upfront that this may or may not fix the issue, but that it was the most likely suspect. I opted to install a new EGR valve myself. They happily handled programming it to my engine (something I didn't know needed done, and couldn't do myself). I showed up 10 minutes before closing time and they had me drive right in. Again, I can't speak highly enough for the service these guys provide.In the end, the new EGR valve didn't solve the problem. We had to leave because we were on a schedule and were headed out of Michigan. These guys were the most knowledgeable and helpful mechanics we've been to so far. I only wish we had time to take it back to them for further diagnosis because I'm confident they would have found the issue.

Came for change of faulty airbags (Mercedes recall) Jake did the work. Very friendly guy btw . Pretty fast service only took an hour I was late to my appointment but they took me in right away.

I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but Hoekstra is top notch. Jake did a great job. Knowledgeable, honest, went above and beyond to help us out.

Been calling and leaving messages for the sales to call me back and the woman on the voice-mail has never returned my messages in the 3 months I've been trying to call them, I am a past customer within the last 2 years when Carl was working for them and I always got return calls from him.
