Phenomenal experience, Bryan was awesome to work with. They are super conservative with their estimates on pricing and timing so you will be both pleasantly surprised by the quick turnaround and quality at a reasonable price!

Great service from Bryan. I have done a few mods to my grand Cherokee and added the trackhawk wheels. Bryan was extremely helpful with all my questions including them buying my old wheels.Only issue was my lug nuts were not included but Bryan made it right. I would 100% use them in the future!

Sold my wheels to this company and they disputed saying two had defective issues. FINE, but when attempting to negotiate they leave zero replies and then keep your wheels! When calling to get them returned Kirk admits they sold the "two good wheels" and destroyed the others...mind you i had these on a car with zero issues and discount tire balanced for years. So not only did they steal my money, didn't return my wheels and then SOLD THEM. What kind of place does that to someone? Almost forgot I then got burned $350 on shipping. They ignored my messages for weeks and then claim you make zero attempt to settle. This place likes to step on the little guy and stick it to you when you are down. Anyone with morals would know its unacceptable to keep something you rightfully didn't pay for. Beware of these theives! Update reply: You got FULLY refunded, kept something that didn't belong to you and then have the nerve to act like I wasn't trying to get them shipped back by asking for shipping dimensions. Didn't even offer to pay half for what you kept, thieves like I said. Comfortable ripping someone off.

I bent a rim on a 22 Ram 1500, called to find a replacement and they had none in stock. I bought a set of oem takeoffs locally. I didn't need 4 wheels, just one. Since they say they buy wheels, and I know they have none in stock, I figured they would be interested in buying the wheels. I got an email back stating the one was unrepairable (the one I replaced). That is fine, but there are 3 like new wheels there. That is a head scratcher? You have none of these wheels in stock, but you don't want to buy some when they are available? Communication was prompt, but I'm puzzled by the response. A little better explanation as to why you wouldn't even consider the other three wheels.

From the very first inquiry I had, all the way to the end of the transaction, was absolutely fantastic. Kirk was great to deal with and got me a high quality refurbished chrome OEM set of 4 wheels for my Audi. The shipping and packaging was top notch and the business transaction was also top notch. He was very informative and left no details behind. The original turn around was approximately 6-8 weeks, but I had my wheels in hand in only two weeks time. The detroit wheel and tire place I bought a rim for my 2020 jeep renegade from I had looked many places and never found any that were worth spending my time and money on But The Detroit Wheel and Tire place I actually drove over and hour to to pick up my rim from and it was well worth it .The Quality I saw inside as well as on my rim is high quality craftsmanship I have to say .The rim I bought looked as if it was just made from the factory oem .So anyone needing rims go to them for your rims they definately the place in michigan to go to.I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a quality product .The customer service was very freindly and helpful .and the craftsman that I saw working in the back were very freindly and the guy even carried the rim out to my truck for me. I will definately tell others here in lansing michigan to go there for rims .

Expectations far exceeded. I ordered two rims for my 2003 Lexus ES300 on a Thursday, and they arrived in south Florida on Saturday, and in perfect condition. Highly recommended.

I contacted Detroit Wheels about replacing my factory 2017 Grand Sport silver wheels with a set of Machine Face Gray wheels. I felt with Bryan the sales rep and the process was seem less. I received my wheels and had them mounted on new tires and could not be more happier with the wheels..I would recommend Detroit Wheel and Tire to anyone who ask. Thank you Bryan for all the help in getting my wheels and the info to return mine to you. Here's a picture of the new wheels on my car.

I have had a total of 3 sets of wheels refinished and repaired at Detroit Tire and Wheel. Feom my salesman Brian Ogg to Jason the technician, Brynn the warehouse assistant manager and including assistance from Jill a custodian as i enteredbthe warehouse, was exceptional. A local high end used car company referred me to DWT years ago and i thank him for the referral everytine i talk to him. 1 set of PVD black chrome for a jagiar, a set of Porsche polished staggered wheels, and most currently a aet of staggered wheels for my Jaguar in hyper silver.The company is impressive amd thwir work is outstanding. I will continue to refer thwm ro anyone that has interest in wheel refinishing.In a world of minimalistic service and unacceptable customer care, I feel Detroit Wheel has it right.This is a genuine review and i received no discount or freebies to intice me. Keep up the good work. Id love love love to be affiliated with this company.

we needed 2x unique 1 year only wheels for our Camaro Hotwheels edition .... they had exactly what we needed (could not locate anywhere else in the country and no local shops would do a tri-coat wheel refurbishment). quick responses, fast shipping and the product that arrived was 100% perfect. You couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.

I have always had a pleasant experience coming to Detroit Wheel and Tire. Whether it is for a tire repair, new wheels, or because I have had a complete flat and needed a new tire, which unfortunately happens more often to me than not living on country roads, I always feel valued as a customer. Highly recommend. I had a hard time finding any black rims for my Traverse until I fund DW&T. I ordered the pvd black chrome and they are perfect. They are so shiny they look like a mirror instead of black. I love them. Shipping was quick and easy. They stayed in touch during the whole process.

Outstanding, I am a fussy person about things, and Detroit Wheel has done an outstanding job! The Ford OEM Wheels look better than when they were NEW! They were very timely on there commitment. They arrived early. also the ship the old core wheels back to them program is pretty easy.Thank you Big for the affordable solution to one bent wheel and three more with a beat up and weathered finish that looks awful.

Great experience with the company and service. They were professional and its clear they take pride in their work. I did the wheel exchange offer and am very pleased with the price and quality of the product. I received my order in less than a week. I would recommend Detroit Wheel and Tire to anyone and will be looking into doing other vehicles in the future.

I purchased the wheels outright. Had to wait a few days but it was worth it. Just an outstanding product. I waxed them inside and out and could not find a flaw. Shipped in very sturdy boxes which I am using to store the wheels I removed. The wife really digs them too.

Detroit wheels was helpful in finding the right wheels for my truck. The original wheels had been damaged by local tire company when replacing the tires. Detroit was able to help me find the exact OEM replacement wheels for my truck. Their wheels also included a warranty that no one else could touch for that type of wheel(better than factory). Greatly appreciate their support and competitiveness on their prices.

Though a little more expensive than other shops, you can t argue with the quality of their work. I had four wheels refinished (straightened, stripped, painted) that required a three-stage painting process and they turned out beautifully. A year later, I bent another wheel (Michigan roads .) that had to be replaced with a new OEM one and you can t tell the difference between the new and refinished ones very impressive. I will say that communication was somewhat lacking when it came to status/progress and coordinating pickup/drop-off and it did feel like some of the employees were relatively numb/indifferent as to whether I went with their shop or not or if my finished wheels were actually ready for pick-up when anticipated. Bottom line, if you want a high quality product and you re not in a rush, this is your shop.

recently had a great experience with DWT. I did a wheel exchange (bought theirs at a reduced cost, and sent them mine in exchange). Doing this requires a deposit. I was curious how that was going to work. Well, it worked perfect. They were very fair about the cost to repair my wheels I sent them (2 had some issues, 1 road rash). I am very happy with the transaction. This was for a 2016 535i M Sport with Staggered Wheels. Highly recommend

My tires were down to the bone, and I needed to get new ones. While I was at it, I also thought it'd be nice to get some new rims with a glossy black finish as opposed to the chrome ones I had. I had never dealt with wheels before, and spent a week looking for ones that I was comfortable with, and that brought me to Detroit Wheel & Tire! It was really close to Oakland University, so one day I popped in with some questions and an estimate and the sales person who helped me - Kirk Wimple, who I highly recommend - went above and beyond to ensure I had a smooth transaction. He worked with me in getting my wheels ready, and helped me out a lot with the exchange option since I had to pick up the rims and have them installed at my local auto place then bring back the old ones. I was incredibly stressed over the prices I had to pay for 20" black wheels for my truck in store and online at other places, but Kirk gave me a super reasonable price and I am beyond satisfied with the finished product; couldn't ask for anything better. The rest of the staff at DW&T are also very chill; I remember asking questions to Kirk and other sales people would immediately chime in with answers and their personal input - that was incredibly cool. Huge thanks to the staff here for helping me, would definitely recommend to anyone in the area who's looking for new wheels.

I was in the market for new wheels for my Ford Explorer when I found Detroit Wheel & Tire. I was able to order my OEM wheel in the finish I was looking for and was able to exchange my old wheels for a core charge.The wheels were packed very well. The wheels are refurbished, and finished nicely.If you are looking for a OEM wheel to replace your current wheels, I recommend that you take a look at Detroit Wheel.

Excellent staff and products. I purchased PVD chrome coated OEM rims ( OEM from factory originally were silver/grey painted aluminum ) for my Cadillac CTS4 over 5 years ago and they still look outstanding ! They have the Roadforce tire balancer which is excellent. I live in Toronto Canada and these rims stood up to some very salty and harsh winter roads. I highly recommend.

I ordered two factory replacement wheels for my Alfa - they were received in perfect condition. Very secure packaging, great price and I got them pretty quickly.Bryan O. (Sales) kept me very informed and answered all my email questions - almost immediately. I will definitely shop here again.

Great experience! Jason Busti from internet sales was a pleasure to work with. We had an issue with the wheels I originally wanted and was able to get me a better set that look amazing. They were OEM for my dodge charger and the price was amazing. In this day and age it is hard to get great customer service and products but that's what they delivered to me. Highly recommended.

I have no affiliation with Detroit Wheel and Tire ... I found them through google when searching for a replacement Rim.My cousin is not mechanically inclined and had a screw driver puncture her wheel (yes her wheel) on the highway. The dealership was going to charge 5x the price of Detroit Wheel and Tire.I was skeptical, but I called Detroit multiple times and was able to speak to a real person each time. They quoted me 20 days to delivery due to refurbish time.My cousin ended up receiving the wheel within a week.My cousin lives 3 states away from me, but I was able to help her source a replacement wheel for 1/5th of the dealership cost.I could not be happier with the experience!

Yet another excellent experience...I came in last week and Joe V and Brian set me up with a great set of Michelin tires. Joe V went above and beyond in presenting many different tire options, allowing me to easily make a educated decision. The tires were balanced and installed perfectly, and they now make my vehicle feel like new again.3 years later, the chrome rims are holding up nicely without any corrosion, even through the brutal salty winters.You can't go wrong here folks!
