Good experience with The Collision Guys of Troy. They did a very good job. Roger and Junior know their stuff and were very polite. I would go to them again if need be. They cleaned my car beautifully when I picked it up.

I had a great experience with the Collision Guys of Troy. I had a minor issue. They said that they were quite busy, but if I brought it in next Tuesday, that they could complete the job in one day. This collision shop is a very honest and professional place of business. Every time I called to check on my vehicle and its repair they answered all questions I asked and were very understanding. I even came up there to see my car for myself and everything they told me over the phone over the last couple of months was exactly what I saw with my own eyes. I know that they had trouble finding parts for my car but as long as you are patient and understanding with them they definitely give excellent service. I didn't have to pay a deductible for my repairs AND they even gave me a discount next door at the tore shop for my windshield wipers I would definitely recommend their business to anyone.

I hit a BIG deer with my car. The car had major damage to the front end. The Collision Guys in Troy, MI were very professional and even provided a free loaner. Roger is the manager at the service center and kept me updated frequently with status of repairs. I was able to get my car back in about a month, which was VERY GOOD considering labor shortages and availability of parts. My car looked brand new when returned. I would highly recommend their service to others needing car repair.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Very professional and helpful. They helped my family with the entire process of our claim. I lived almost 3 hours away from them and they walked me through. The staff was supportive and empathic which was exactly what I needed. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone and would use it myself if I lived closer. My vehicle was damaged by another vehicle. I had to pay out of pocket due to the pandemic and not working full time which caused me to reduce my full coverage to basic. CG gave me a great price over all other estimates so I decided to go with it considering they had exotic and luxury cars inside. 6 weeks later after I finally picked up my car, I was taken aback at the poor attention to detail and lack of cleaning. There were so many problems they had to resolve, they need a list. The good part is, they did take care of the mistakes (that I noticed) and Jay even took more money out of what I owed. The bad part is, there were still flaws in the overall work and painting. For starters, there are two spots were the paint starting chipping off, so I had to touch up with my factory touch up paint. There is a noticeable abrasion (not deep) along the top of my roof which I think can be rubbed out. If the trim along the top of my door, where it meets the window, slightly moves, you can see the old color of the used door. My rear taillight lens appears to have a small area that I assume melted during a rubbing out. There are minor weld burns that splattered on my rear window, which cannot be removed. The window would need replacement. A few other problems existed also but I'm trying not to type a book. Bottom line, I believe the price provided was reflective of the quality of work. If they cannot do quality work at any price they provide, they shouldn't do it. My brother has been in the body repair/automotive business for over 40 years working on show cars and more. I have worked with him and know what quality work is. The unfortunate part is, he lives out of state or he would have done the repairs, which he offered to do, but I still had to wait cause he was backed up. I would not take my vehicle to CG again nor recommend them due to their lack of detail. My brother sets a very high standard which I expect from any other auto body facility. Called this location because Progressive insurance collision companies couldn't look at my vehicle for at least a month. These guys did even ask for a claim #. Sent someone out immediately to get my vehicle. Although the vehicle was totaled, I was very happy with this company and staff

I had a small rusty area on roof of car that could've been caused by a flying pebble from freeway that scratched the paint. Dealership refused to cover through warranty and wants to charge around $1000 while Collision Guys did it for less than half the price and a job so well done that it's extremely difficult to find any traces of roof repainting.Service: Painting

My insurance company connected them with me to do a lockout and I ended up waiting over 6 hours (2pm-8pm) for a person to even respond and say they were in route. I got lucky a neighbor knew what to do and in 10 min I was on my way. No one should ever have to get the run around from their insurance company or the company providing the service. No one knew at all what time anyone was really going to arrive. They just kept saying it's someone close it's someone in route or x amount of minutes.Service: Car lockouts

This was the worst towing experience I have ever had. We were not in a winter storm or bad weather. They messaged it would be 2-2/12 hours before they arrive long but ok. After 3 hours I called and was told another 1-1/2 hours. I explained I called at 12:30 and I m trying to get my vehicle to the dealership. Another two hours later I called again and was told another 45 minutes to an hour. I cannot speak to their collision services but the towing dispatch, scheduling and/or over driver pickup is problematic.

AWFUL! Absolutely horrible. Requested service at 8 am and was told 120-135 minutes. At 10:50 still nothing. We called and they said it ll be another 120 minutes. We were patient and waited. By 1 pm we called again the they said it s going to be 3 more hours. So at that point an 8 hour wait? And when speaking to them on the phone, they were very rude about it. We called another company who was out in less than 15 minutes. No excuse makes sense that one company needs 8 hours while another needs 15 minutes. Don t use them if you want your car to get towed in this century lol.Service: Car towing

I hit a deer in October told me 3 weeks to get my car back. It is February and I still haven't gotten my car back. Was told before Thanksgiving, was told before Christmas after that was told it'll be ready Friday every week until now. Excuses after Excuses. 3 months and I still don't have my car. Insurance paid out over $14000.

I love the amenities they offered me there with my deductible they waived a $1000 and gave me a free car rental with my insurance wouldn t do that for me I would recommend them anytime and to all my family and friends.
