Very convenient location. Always doing a great job. Relatively fast timing wise. Competitive prices. Clean and inviting customer area. We had several services completed including oil change, brakes, spark plugs, serpentine belt, etc. so far satisfied with all their work.

This is my second time coming here. First time I came for my brakes. They were friendly and delivered services In a timely manner. This time I m in for an oil change. Although they looked pretty busy they were able to prioritize work loads well and get me out in a reasonable time. They were able to pull the coupons online so I didn t have to bring it with me. Huzaifa has been very helpful and courteous and took very good care of my car needs. Offered me future services without being pushy. For sure I Will be visiting this branch often for my future car needs.

I am extremely happy with the services that were done on my car. Ryan really worked with me on explaining everything and also did his best to try and keep prices down. Everyone was pleasant and my car was fixed in one day! I believe it would have taken another shop atleast 3-5 days. Thank you Ryan and everyone at car fix Troy, my car drives great!

Excellent experience!Car was towed to Car Fix after hours. They called me the next morning and I received a detailed issue description with a video and breakdown of the charges.They ordered the parts and I received regular updates on progress. It was ready when expected.Huzaifa was very helpful.Very professional and trustworthy service.

Found my new one stop shop for all of my car troubles. This location is right by the highway so very quick to get to, the inside is beautiful, very clean and open. There are so many spots to hangout and get work done if you need to wait for your car. They have free snacks, drinks and a coffee machine. The staff are very friendly, honest and knowledgeable. They won t do any unnecessary work like other shops do. Very cheap and affordable prices. I got my engine and brake issues fixed as well as an oil change. They were super efficient and did a great job explaining the work and how to take care of my car in the future.

Car Fix Troy has always provided me excellent service, and got me out of a pinch quite a few times. After putting off doing my brakes on my Honda Civic for months, it got to the point where they started to grind and I was not able to drive on local roads or highways.The staff was very helpful on the phone, and they got my car in right away. I dropped my car off overnight, and immediately got a call first thing in the morning when they opened. They explained everything that would need to be done on my car, and even sent pictures to show which repairs were needed. Within a few hours they took care of all my brakes, calipers, and let me know what to expect in the future for maintenance.Very competitive pricing, I called around many shops before bringing it in and was very satisfied with the price, although with the service I received I would happily pay more. Very fast, efficient and good quality service. It s been 6-7 months since and I have not had a single issue10/10 service, would definitely rate it higher if I could. I ll be bringing my family s cars here as well in the future. Thank you Car Fix!

The level of hospitality from the team is beyond exceptional! I went in for an oil change and Billy, the shop manager, Ryan and Thomas were all friendly and very professional. Enjoy coming here to get regular maintenance on my car. They re really good at communicating issues as they re looking at your car and explain to you what the issues are. They even show you the issues and what the possible ways to get the issue fixed would be - regardless of whether or not you get those issues fixed with them. And they re also super generous with getting you the best deal or discount.

Never had an auto shop experience like this before. Ryan was awesome. He treated me with respect and as a valued customer, assured me that they'd figure out the problem when belle tire wouldn't, and was oh so friendly. Every problem was explained thoroughly and in terms that I could understand. I didn't feel any remorse for spending $2,500 because I felt strongly that they were doing a great job and I could rest easy afterward. I won't go to any auto shop except this one from now on.

I went to Car Fix Troy for an oil change. I am very impressed with the service, competence and reasonable prices. The office is also quite nice and updated, comfy, big and airy. The service guy found that my brake fluid was not changed (ever) and gave me a huge discount on the service. I love this place! Will come back!

I went with my 2015 honda car, changed the front break system!! I would say price wise as normal like other shops, but it looks like they have not scamed me with other stuff, I liked their honesty! Because of this only, i would come back to them for further needs!

I went in for a routine oil change and the technicians raised concerns about a leak. At first diagnosis, they suggested an oil system flush. Because I'm a girl, and this industry is notorious for factitous issues, I initially thought they were trying to pull one over me. This could not be further from the truth. They offered the flush free of charge.After further inspection, they discovered the root cause; the timing cover was leaking. Because the car is still under warranty, they urged to take it to the dealership ASAP. While still at the shop, I called local dealerships to arrange an appointment/rental car. The attempts to find a dealership to accomodate my needs was a pain, to say the least. Moe, one of Car Fix's technicians, stepped in to help. Thank you, Moe!I am very thankful for this shop. They are honest and truly care for their clients.

All four of my tires were low air due to the bad snow storm and negative temps in early January. Went to Car Fix as it was on my way to work to get air into my tires. Their air hose was located inside and not outside where most were frozen. I was lucky to be there when it wasn't busy so I was in and out in 10 minutes. I asked how much and they said there was no charge. I was greeted with a smile and sent on my way with a smile. Great service! Thank you!

This place is great to have your car codes read, or maybe have your brake lines looked at, but i would never let them work on anything. Went in there to have them look at a brake leak and they immediately jump to well let's change the line out, it just needed to be tightened...so instead of paying 250 for new brake line and a $100 bleed fee(which not even the dealer charges) I went to a different place, they fixed my problem and total cost was $35 to just tighten and inspect an engine code. People looking for honest mechanics go elsewhere cause they're just here to money grab.

Took my wrangler in today to see why my check engine light was on. Amazing customer service by Ryan. I was helped right away, Jeep was fixed quick and they were thorough with what needed to be done. These guys have been A1 since Day 1! They greet you when you walk through door and show respect. They don t talk mechanic language , they actually break things down in plain English so you can understand. And they actually care about your vehicle like it was their own. Nothing is more important than keeping my family safe on the road. I won t let anyone else touch my or my wife s vehicle other than these guys! I trust them more than the dealerships.

ORIGINAL POST:I came in with a coolant leak. After a review by a mechanic I was informed that the lower radiator hose failed and needed replacement. Parts were 20 mins away, and the job was about an hour. I authorized the work.My Jeep was serviced about 2 weeks prior for a sticking thermostat. At that time the coolant system was flushed and refilled, and the thermostat was replaced. So I was surprised that I was being charged for a 2nd system flush. I understand replacinging damaged parts and missing components. But flushing the system, I believe, was totally unnecessary.I was trying to sell the Jeep, and the new owner drove in from St. Joseph, MI to buy the vehicle. The hour and a half I was quoted wound up being 5 hours. The buyer was trying to make his son's hockey game in Kalamazoo... which he missed.Although staff was polite, I would've preferred to have been updated on the vehicle process in a more timely manner. I had to call in twice to get and update, and all I received was "it'll be ready shortly." I would've spent more time obtaining clarification, but the new owner needed to get in the road and I didn't want to delay him any more than necessary.And I also think charging for a 2nd coolant system flush was excessive. These are practices that cause customers to 2nd guess their mechanics and leave a bad light on the industry as a whole.5 hours to replace a lower radiator hose and system coolant is not acceptable ... in any repair shop.Going forward, I wonder what Car Fix will do to retain my business? Up until now, I've been satisfied. But the future has been clouded with doubt and uncertainty.UPDATE:I was contacted by management (and the Owner) about this visit. After a close review of the bill, it appears that I was not charged for the system flush, as I was told. The bill was for parts and labor. BUT, we did agree that that 5 hours was too long for this repair, and that they dropped the ball by not keeping me in the loop.I was offered an agreeable solution for this matter, for which I won't discuss here. I think each dispute can, and should, be resolved on its own merits. I am willing to remain a customer as long as Car Fix is willing to maintain their best practices attitude.
