***UPDATE(November 2020) I bought a new car and within the first week took it to Buzz Off to have them do window tint on the driver and passenger front windows. 20% ceramic...looks amazing. This place really does great work!(September, 2015) After shopping around for a long time, I finally decided to trust Buzz Off with my vehicle window tint.I couldn't be happier; it's the best tint job I've ever received. I highly recommend their auto tint services. They offered three (3) tint options, standard, 'HD' (high definition), and ceramic. Each progression costs an additional $100-ish. I choose the HD version which seemed to offer the exact shades of grey I was looking for.Don't take my word for it, go see for yourself! Visit their location and check out the cars they're working on at that time. You will see upscale cars getting a flawless tint job. That was proof enough for me.

My experience with Buzz off auto was excellent! Marc, the owner, displayed excellent customer service, well above all of the other businesses that I called for the same service. It was easy to schedule and I was in and out with my remote start installation very swiftly. So, if you run into a crazy situation like I did (in 2022) where car companies asks you to drive in the snow to leave a deposit, then look at the schedule to see when/if you can get an appt., don't fret! Just give Marc a call and he'll take care of everything very professionally.

Was looking to get a remote car start (as I am a nurse and have to park my car quite a distance from the hospital where I work). I thought they had gotten decent reviews and didn t know much else about the company. I left two voicemails with no response, so I went with Street Ride and Tide instead. Glad I did!! They did an outstanding job.

Took my 2016 ATS-V here to get a Corsa exhaust installed. It only took Marc a few hours to get it done and I was all set. Installation looks great and has no major errors, the work is fairly priced and getting an appointment was quick and easy.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Can't say enough good things! I got a stereo installed in my 'Avalanche and I love it! Great service, quick turn around, but the best part was it was the most affordable choice in metro Detroit! Some other chain stores were asking hundreds of dollars more for the same install! I'll be using Buzz Off for all my future routine services and after-market installs.

Buzz Off did my window tint on a 2017 4Runner. Marc was incredibly easy to work with, up front about pricing, and clearly communicated the pick up and drop off time. The tint came out fantastic as well. I will for sure be giving BOA my business for future modifications to my truck.

I was having problems with my remote start not working all winter and recently took my car into Buzz Off to try to find the issue. They found the problem and fixed it same day! Sure wish I had taken it to them sooner! These guys KNOW automotive, that's why they've been in business over 20 years! Over the years I've had stereos installed, tint, windshield replacement, performance add ons, remote starters, even oil changes and brakes. Highly recommend them and their high quality work!Thanks Marc!

The owner and staff at Buzz Off Automotive have always provided the best experience and customer service. I have worked with Marc and his staff for years. I have sent many clients to them for work on their high end vehicles. They provide a one-stop-shop for everything you could ever want on your vehicle. After 10 years of sending clients to them, I have never received a single complaint. Keep up the amazing work!

I highly recommend BuzzOff! I had my Tesla Model S tinted this week and the work was high quality, the shop is extremely clean, it was very efficient as well. My schedule and time is very limited and valued and Marc came to my business to pick up my car and have it tinted and ready for pick up that day! Thank you!

I highly recommend Buzz-Off! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I normally do not take the time to write reviews, but seeing as I based where I went to get professionally tint installed on reviews, I decided to do so. These guys take their time, a lot of time doing their job and doing it right. I am more than satisfied with the window tint job they have done on my 2017 Ford Mustang and would recommend them to any friend. Ask for Mark!

We ordered a tonneau cover for or truck and had them install. They gave us great options to choose from and we were kept in the loop from the time the part was ordered, to when it arrived and when it could be installed. A professional staff with great service. Our 2014 Ford Flex had a burned out headlight, which was nearly impossible to replace on my own. Took it to Huntington Ford, they quoted somewhere between $500-1000 depending on if it was just the HID bulb or if a ballast needed replacing too! (They claimed they needed to take off the bumper and light fixture to replace the bulb.) Instead I took it to Buzz Off Auto, which I knew does custom light applications - I figured it anyone could do it, they could. I was right: 3 hours later the bulb was replaced and the car was good to go for a FRACTION of the price quoted by Ford! Love these guys - excellent service, and great service agents, too.

I researched two brands of hard rolling tonneau covers for my new truck. I went to Buzz-Off because they were authorized dealers of BAK and Truxedo, and I wanted to talk with someone who s actually worked with both bands. Marc was very knowledgeable and professional as he explained the features, both pro and con, of both. I decided on the Truxedo CT, and the job was done the next day. I got a GREAT price on the cover, and Marc installed it for less than half of what I was quoted at the dealership. I would not hesitate to recommend Buzz-Off to anyone for after-market accessories. When I m ready to get a bed mat and towing package, I ll call Marc.

Buzz-Off automotive. I think the name says it all. They essentially want you to buzz-off after they have taken your money. I got a groupon for interior and exterior detailing, looked like a good deal for the services that they said they would cover. Made an appointment, I was told it was a 6 hour job so handed the car over almost 7 hours before they closed. When I arrived, before closing time to pick up, I was watching them work on the car. it literally looked as if they had taken the car 15 minutes before I came in and started working on it. When I got the car back, inside and outside was still wet and there were some stains still left on the seat. As I drove away I realize that they had not even put the mats back in and had to drive back to retrieve them. I have no faith in a store to perform repair services when they cant even get a simple detailing job done right. Be careful, it definitely looks like a place with a bunch of young kids in it. On the only plus side, the person at the front desk was very courteous and professional.

I took my Corvette here for full detail and new radio, amp, speakers, alarm. I can say as a former mobile electronics installer myself they did a fantastic job. Install was clean, no missing dash screws, no rattles. Buzz off got almost all of the swirl marks and scratches out of my black car and had the interior looking brand new. I will definitely bring my other cars in for any audio or detailing. Thanks Guys for the great job.

Own a manual transmission and want a remote starter come here!I own a 2014 Chevy Cruze Eco which has a manual transmission. I had been calling auto shops all over metro Detroit to find a shop that can install a remote starter on a car with a manual transmission. No joke, I called 14+ shops and the only shop that could do this was Buzz Off Automotive! These guys know what they're doing and will give you multiple options and price ranges for what you're looking for. Winter is awesome without having to go outside to warm up my car every morning.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical

I had these guys install an alternator for me along with tinting my windows. Not impressed. All this time later still bubbles in the windows and the alternator was not done well either. It was a custom install but they didn't use water proof connectors when the spliced the new connector in. I ended up having to redo the wiring myself. I'm not going to say they are bad at what they do I just think it should have been done much better. I will not have them do any additional work and I will not recommend them to my friends.

I've been a customer for about 8 years now and I don't take my vehicles any where else. Buzz Off does everything from custom work to collision work. Recently I had some collision work with paint done and the work was spot on, timely, and reasonably priced. Customer service is always A 1, ask for Mark!

I took my 1999 Mustang to Buzz Off Auto to have the engine cleaned and the car detailed. The car is 13 years old and has some normal wear and tear, but when Buzz was done the car looked brand new. The employees and owner were all cordial and professional.My car also had the windows tinted by someone else. It was a terrible job. Buzz Off was able to remove the old tint and re-tint the care at a reasonable price, and the tint job was wonderful.I recommend Buzz Off to anyone who needs any type of work or service on their vehicle.

This was a terrific experience! I'm new in town, and I decided to go with Buzz Off after being scared away from Mickey Shorr by their terrible reviews. Plus, I had found a deal on Groupon for the remote car starter I wanted to get for my husband for Xmas. I was told by Mark that some cars require an additional fee due to some sort of fancy computery thing in the vehicle's key. I brought my van in to see if this applied to me, and if not, I was going to schedule an appointment and come back for installation (we only have one car, so the timing had to be right). I got there, and within 5 minutes Mark had told me the fee would not apply to my car. And then instead of scheduling an appointment and going home to buy the coupon, Mark got me in immediately and the remote starter was installed in under an hour. The service was friendly and helpful. The job was well done and quickly done. And I'm sure my husband will be very happy with his gift...but he'll just have to wait until Xmas to find out about it!

In the process of leasing a 2018 VW Passat, I just called in to confirm whether or not I could have remote start installed on the vehicle. Unfortunately there s no solution for the option on the specific trim I am purchasing (push-start), but Mark was tremendously kind and helpful in his communication of that with me. Definitely warranted my coming here and writing a review. I will definitely be coming to them if I decide to get my windows tinted. Thanks Mark!

I work at a dealership that does send business to Buzz-Off. They are excellent to work with. The staff is very friendly and knowlegable. We use them for window tint, tailer hitches, customizing trucks, and they are a great source for Weathertech floor liners. Keep up the good work and thank you for all of your efforts to help me exceed my customers expectations.

As soon as I came I got help right away, they really make it feel like it s big car family. The works were really nice, the worker Fayd their was a big help. I had no clue what was wrong with my car Fayd came in a respectfully. Looked at my car told me everything wrong in a instant and hooked me up with a really good and right price.

Very poor communication with customers. I had ask to have my headlights looked because I believed my ballast on my headlights was shorted. I was not told I would need to pay just to have it looked at. There mechanic cut of my old ballast from my headlights and my relay. He threw them on the counter saying they where a junk brand and to buy there's at $75 a piece. When I mentioned I seen the same ballast he showed me online for less than $30.00 I was told I had to pay a shop fee for them to cut out my wiring and to tel me what I already knew. When I tried to explain to the mechanic I was not informed of any shop fee prior to them taking my vehicle he brushed my off and Ignored me and walked to the back. Great way to run a business.

Had a remote start installed by them almost 4 years ago. It started acting up and it even popped a few lights on the dash. I took it back to them last week and they fixed it for free! That's pretty awesome that they would warrant their work and the products they use for that long of a time frame. Great service!
