This review is long overdue.I have been a customer of Automotive Authority for over 24 years. Since the early days of All Night Auto.Tim and his crew have serviced cars for myself and everyone in my family. He now handles mine and my childrens vehicles on the regular.Tim and his staff have always been professional, thorough, friendly and incredibly helpful.I highly recommend this business as they truly care about their clientele and doing a terrific job.Love supporting this business!

I had a great experience at Automotive Authority. Their service is straightforward and honest. I actually ended up paying less than what I was quoted and they went out of their way to not do any service I didnt need, which I really appreciate.Tim was especially helpful. He's knowledgeable and approachable, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. He genuinely cares about the customers and their cars.Also, Bailey, the office dog, is a sweet heart and a joy to be around. I definitely recommend Automotive Authority for anyone who needs trustworthy car service. Between Tim s expertise and Bailey s sweet demeanor Automotive Authority is the best choice around.

I had a real challenge. I had just received an unbelievably high estimate of $10k from the dealer to fix various parts of my car, including an engine timing chain that had triggered the engine light. I explained the situation to Automotive Authority, and they couldn t believe it either. They quoted a complete fix of all that needed to be fixed for less than 1/3 of the dealer quote. It took several weeks to fix due to (1) parts unavailability from the dealer then (2) an oddity with then engine computer that required extensive, creative, and persistent troubleshooting to fully address. Part of what drove up the dealer quote was replacing that computer. Automotive Authority was convinced they could fix it without replacement and they did!! We re very happy with the outcome and were patient in partnering with them through the process. Very impressive!

Brought my car in for an alignment and rather than do a half fix and charge me they did an expanded inspection to find I had damage that needed to be repaired before alignment could happen. I was able to get the needed repairs completed that the mechanics identified. Staff was pretty good with the situation and how they treated me. I had a good experience here.

Was able to get my windshield replaced same day by setting up an appointment beforehand very friendly and very cute dog as well highly recommend!

Didn't want to go to the dealership to handle an oil change where they would charge an arm and a leg. Went to Valvoline first with my own oil since my car only takes one kind and they would do the labor while I stay in the car. After 10 minutes, Valvoline said they can't do the oil change since the hole the oil comes out of has been stripped over time. I left and called Automotive Authority on the same street as they were still open. They said they can do the labor if I bring my own oil - no problem - and for the same price. I made an appointment, was greeted with pleasant customer service, and after 10 minutes, they said I would have to come back due to the same reason but that they would order a part that would enable them to complete the oil change. I came for round 2 and not only did they complete my oil change with a new filter and the extra part, they also found a couple of smaller issues underneath the car that they handled free of charge. I will be coming here for all of my oil changes going forward!!

Tim and his team did a great job on my oil change. It was a relief knowing that the professionals were looking at my car as a whole and not just trying to get through as many oil changes as they could. They even let my therapy dog in training stop in to say hello, and she gives Tim two paws up!

This is the best shop I have ever been to. Straight forward and honest. Also the shop dog makes my day when I go in. Tim was able to fix the delay in my horn that was driving me nuts. I cannot say enough good things about this company.

They are very honest, friendly, and don't nickel and dime you. They refused to take money from me on 3 separate occasions because they said it didn't take barely any time (even though I know it did).I am not related to the owner or anything, these guys are just really a great place to get your car serviced - I love the lounge and vibe they have too - will be going here as my shop

My whole family has been using Automotive Authority since they opened. I tell everyone I know about this place. Honest, reliable, trustworthy, they handle all my car issues from oil changes and breaks to any other major concerns. Tim and Joe are great guys who are friendly, up front and easy to deal with. I love that they have late hours. Highly recommend!

A great auto shop that does great work. Tim and Joe are honest, direct and timely. The mechanics fix it right the first time. I've been going here for a long time for any work that I can't do myself and I wouldn't trust my cars to anyone else. I can't say enough about how well they've treated me and my cars over the years.

I brought my truck in first thing in the morning around 8am to have them quote the driver s side door bracket that had previously broken as well as look at a squeak noise I noticed in the exhaust. He told me they would have an estimate within a half hour so I popped across the street to a coffee and bagel shop and approximately 20 minutes later he called me and told me he would have the part from gm the same day and have the truck fixed by 230pm for way cheaper than the dealership tried to scam me on. By 2pm he had called and said the truck was all done and ready. They also nearly eliminated the squeak noise with some lubricant.My first experience there was a good one and it seems like an honest straight forward shop. I will be a returning customer.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Mechanic shop or dealership? An advertisement was posted on Facebook for a Mercedes 2015 C-300 4MATIC. A day ago we went to take a look at the car and negotiate what we believed to be a fair purchase price for the car. The man that was acting as the middle man told us that he would have to talk to the owner of the car about the purchase price. After deciding on a price that we are comfortable with, we decided to come back the next day to test drive it. The gentleman handed us the car keys and we went for a test drive. After taking the car for no more than a quarter mile, the car started stuttering on every gear change. This caused the car to shake and thrash around. We were so worried that the car was going to cause an accident that we took it back almost immediately. Arriving back we were shaken up and proceeded to hand the keys back. Soon after we left and awaited a phone call explaining to us what was wrong. What actually happened was a call that stated there was nothing wrong . In transition, I exclaimed that they did us a disservice by allowing us to drive a car which had an obvious mechanical issue. The phone was hung up. A car that has mechanical issues being sold at an establishment that fixes mechanical issues?Nothing about the situation felt right with many red flags only being forthcoming after the phone call. Please for your sake, do not purchase any of their client s cars.

We took our older car in for repair and found out it needed a transmission replacement. Because it was older it took a lot of work to find us a replacement. We got our car back and it runs great. Told me that they had to remove the body from the frame to repair the a/c lines for my Ford van and gave me an absurd quote. Uh, no.Took it home and looked into myself. Found that you can order the lines, they easily disconnect and are replaceable.

I had a great experience at AA. One of the most convenient places if you work longer days or work weekends as they are open late at night and will be sure to give you top quality service. I happen to get into the office at a very early time and typically do not leave until after 7pm so it is most convenient for me to drop my car off in the morning to have them look at it and then pick it up fully functioning after I leave the office. AND they provide a service for you to get to your location while they work on your car. Excellent spot and I highly recommend Joe!

Took my car in because the check engine came on and didn't go out. This was about a week after they replaced 2 sensors after diagnosing another check engine light issue which was causing the engine to stall at idle. After that it ran fine. I had it detailed; it looked good and ran fine. Then the next day - check engine light came on solid. So-o-o back to Automotive Authority where they found a small hose had come unplugged and was tucked away. Perhaps done when engine was detailed and just not plugged back in.Problem found and fixed and I was out the door with no impact on my wallet.Good people and good service for over 20 years and a dozen cars; my family and I have always been treated well.

My Family has been using A. A. for years they are simply the best. Tim has put together an amazing and friendly staff. I am a former engine builder and drag racer and have the knowledge and ability to fix my own car. I prefer to use A. A. for there professionalism and efficiency and knowledge. Its always wise to trust an expert and i fell there is no better expert than Tim and his staff. Thank you A.A. for making life easier

I had a somewhat urgent but quick fix (my heat shield between the muffler and gas tank was coming loose, I couldn't get under the car enough to secure it well or take it off myself) and I called at least 8 other shops in the area, all of which were packed and unable to help. Automotive Authority was also extremely busy but they were able to get me fixed just before they closed. The guy working there was extremely helpful, you could tell that they have honest people here. I will be sure to return next time I need some help!

A few days ago, my window fell off track (on the coldest day of the year!). My mom suggested I take my car into Automotive Authority because Tim has always taken good care of her there. Tim got me in first thing the next day (and ordered the part right after we scheduled the appointment so he would have it ready to install when I got there!). I dropped my car off, and to my surprise, received a call 3 hours later to let me know that my car was finished! Super quick, friendly, and affordable service. I hope that I don t have any future problems- but if I do, I will definitely go to Automotive Authority!

Great experience, the guys there saved me $1,100 on a repair. They were professional yet funny and I can definitely highly recommend. I just want to thank them so much for getting me back on the road.

I have been taking my cars to Tim and his crew since 1993 (previous business owners). They have always taken excellent care of my vehicles. I get prompt service, a fair market price for the parts and labor, and they always take that little extra step that makes it a pleasure to work with them. On occasion, when needed, they go the extra mile as well.

Took my vehicle in for a quote as this place was recommended by another business. They insisted on taking the vehicle for a test drive even after telling them the issue I needed fixed that could plainly be seen (no other shops insisted on this). Gave me the quote that included more work and parts than actually needed (as verified by 2 separate other shops) but what the worst part of the experience here was that my vehicle was returned to me smelling of smoke. They had my car for only 20 minutes and it took a full day to air out the smell that both me and my 5 year old had to inhale the drive home. Needless to say I did not go back. Was happy and satisfied with the work provided by another shop, issue fixed.
