This shop is awesome! My car was towed here after overheating, and they couldn t have been more helpful. Reasonably priced diagnostic, thorough explanation of the situation, and professional demeanor. Also assisted with my donation to Vehicles for Veterans. Highly recommend.

I would give six stars if I could! Glen and his staff for did a amazing just job for me! Polite, courteous, explained the repairs in detail, and fair in cost! Had my car in and out in one day!I am very happy and grateful to have found this repair shop and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

Glen helped me get a great deal on some general maintenance i needed on my vehicle, Dropped the car off called me next morning and it was ready to go and car drives great and check engine light was off. Outstanding level of professionalism and service. Great communication, discussed options as issues were identified and overall very satisfied with staff and the service they provided. I will recommend to friends and family hey, thanks for the great job. Mark worked on my 1977 Oldsmobile 98 and this thing is running like a champ now.

Mark Stull and Auto Lab was able to get me in on very short notice. I needed to have a new exhaust and air filter put on my car after not getting the quality of service I had hoped from when I originally brought my car to the dealership. The quality of work at Auto Lab was excellent and the price was very affordable. Overall I am highly satisfied with the services provided at this establishment!! No more taking my car to the dealership!!

Excellent Team. Glenn is awesome as well all mechanics who worked on my Ram 2500. 4 other places would not attempt to install all 4 ball joints. Highly Recommend.

The staff was very courteous and helpful, Glen at the front counter was patient and informative. The mechanics, Jason and Scott, detailed the work that needed to be done in a respectful manner. The work was completed in a timely manner and I've had zero issues with my vehicle since. I would highly recommend Auto Lab Troy to my friends and family. Mark the owner has a wonderful personality and made my visit a pleasant one.

You won't be seeing anymore of my vehicles. I had my MKX rear brakes serviced just fine. I bring in my A6 for full brakes and get a quote higher than the dealer, that's OK, but I get a voice mail saying I am a liar unacceptable!!! make sure you hang up the phone before you talk about your customers.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I ve taken several different cars here over the years and have always been treated exceptionally well. I ve found this shop to be the most trustworthy repair facility in the Metro Area. Not only do they use good quality parts, but they perform the work in a timely manner. The shop owner Mark is exceptionally good at what he does and has always presented himself in a professional manner.

Do Not Go Here! I went in for a test to see if my Cadillac converter went bad.Plus a oil change. I received a call saying It was bad and needed to be replaced.The cost would be 1,322.95 with a discount.I told them that was way to high as I just replaced it back in November for only 300. Then he told me I needed a tuneup and I told him my son can do tuneups I only need price for converter and was told it would be the same price with or without the tuneup I told him I never hear of that before.So I also told him my converter is under warranty and only need a price for the labor. Then he told me it was the back converter and not the front.So I just got the test and oil done. When I went to pick it up I seen on the bill they were going to charge for a tuneup I didn t ask for plus a flush I didn t come in there to have everything they can think of done Im not rich and have to budget my work done.I m a senior (women) so I talked to my family and was told to get it tested again by a different place which I did and was told they lied to me. I only needed the warranty converter replaced. I had it done for 180. Not a bad savings. I seen after that the test showed it was fixed on my sprint device.That I have to let me know what my van needs ahead of time. I will not recommend this place or unless you wanna throw money out the window.very bad business trying to scam a old lady.

Everyone here has always been very friendly. They diagnose my car quickly and their communication skills are impeccable. They call when they find out what's wrong and understand the time-sensitivity of customers needing a car.One thing that irks me about so many auto shops is the patronizing nature of the customer service. I'm a small guy and I'm not super macho, so I'm not often taken seriously by mechanics. Not here, they treat me like an adult and I can respect and trust that kind of shop.

I have brought several vehicles here over the years and have only experienced the best of service! The owner and his employees are extremely knowledgeable and honest (which I can't say for many auto repair shops), and would not even think of taking my cars/trucks anywhere else. Always a professional job well done!

John Adams (service advisor) was excellent. I was in a bind as I had break problems while visiting from out of town. He was super friendly, helpful and had me back on the road with two new sets of breaks and rotors in less than and 1.5 hrs. Very low prices and good service.

I recently brought in my vehicle for some work to be done and was extremly pleased with my service. The gentleman behind the counter, Glen, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and told me when they diagnosed the problem they would call me and let me know what it would take to fix the problem. I was pleased with the prompt turn around time and the pricing was close to what I expected and have not had any issues since then. I highly recomend Auto Lab of Troy for any future repairs and will be coming back for anything else.

I am in my mid 40's and for years have tried to handle all of my household's automotive repairs. Over the years for the heavy repairs I have had to shop around for a shop that is as meticulous as I am (which are hard to find). Mark Stull is not only very knowledgeable, he is extremely professional, and most of all very meticulous when he handles my vehicles. He has worked on my Avalanche (daily driver) and my 1984 Z28 (toy car). If it is something I am not able to do in the driveway, I only take my vehicles to one place and that is to Mark. Highly recommended!

My 20 year old van's transmission drain threads got stripped when I tried to flush the fluid. I couldn't get the drain plug back in tight enough because of the missing threads. This caused fluid leak. I took it to auto lab and they fixed it the same day. Highly recommended.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I find the technical crew to be well educated to service my car. They tell me like it is and which repairs would really be needed vs. optional or let's-watch-this kind of a repair. Labor rate is more affordable than dealers.

Great service, fast turnaround. They always save me money when they can. One example is when I thought my leaf springs broke; it turned out that my rear shackles were rusted out and they replaced only the shackles. I have over 150,000 miles on my truck and want to keep it going for a few years and they keep it going for me. I have had them work on my engine, transfer case, transmission, exhaust, brakes and I even get my tires from them. I often have them look over my truck to find things that are wrong to fix it before it breaks and I know I can trust them to only replace parts that need to be replaced. I won't go anywhere else.

Got my oil changed there once, good experience. Called to schedule another appointment when next change was due, "Tony" said he'd put me in the book for Friday 9am (I called on a Monday). Showed up Friday and said I was here for my oil change appointment "No way, not going to happen" I was told. I wasn't in the book, the guy had no idea or record of an appointment. He spoke with the mechanic (who I could hear cussing from the garage) and came back saying, "OK, we can do it, we'll just have to stop working on another car." Then I was informed that the filter I needed wasn't in stock and would have to be ordered. Complete disaster. I took the car to my dealer the following week to finally get my oil changed - only to learn that the drip plug was stripped during my last oil change (at Autolab, Troy). Thanks guys, an additional $65 to my routine oil change cost. Will NEVER deal with this place again.

I towed my jeep to their shop because I saw smoke coming from underneath my hood. Randy stated that "a hose was off" and that he repaired it. He stated that he was "pretty sure" based on "eyeballing" that this was the only issue with the car. After picking the car up and driving home, the car wouldn't start back up. After towing the car back up to the shop, Randy called and said my engine was blown. Umm what??? How is my engine all of a sudden blown?? I don't know, but what I do know is this...Randy admitted to not properly assessing my vehicle before repairing it (stating he just "eyeballed" it without using the diagnostic equipment they have), he charged me for fixing a hose on a blown engine (and didn't offer a refund), he was rude and short when I asked questions, and any engine damage I had was exacerbated when Auto Lab let me drive off without properly assessing the vehicle. I am now out of a vehicle AND $288 for a hose that shouldn't have been repaired on a blown engine.Service: Engine repair

Not sure if their repair work, but not pleased with their used car sales. Poor customer service in that by Mark. Glenn was pleasant enough but was just the middleman. False advertising on the car from Mark and very ride to my young adult daughter.

I brought my car here after getting a quote from Belle Tire for over $2000 to fix a clunk in the suspension. Larry was very friendly and was able to fix the suspension issue for far less than the Belle Tire quote. Now the old girl is driving better than ever!
