Worst experience. Let s start with sales. There s two guys. They sit in their chairs and don t move. On test drives you are allowed to drive the car 1 mile around the block. No further. Snacks one per customer and the one I had ended up having mold all over it. No one says hi, can I help you? Nothing. Operations manager-Terrible! We took our 2024 MDX for a noise issue. They looked at one thing and banked on that being it. After 6 hours on our second visit, they told us they road tested it (they didn t, we watched) and sent us on our way. As soon as we got on the highway-same noise. I called the ops manager and asked that they send someone to pick the car up for service as we can t spend hours there waiting. He refused. Wouldn t hear of it. Also, they have zero courtesy transportation or loaners. We were forced to Uber. So we took the vehicle to Acura in Ann Arbor and they had us fixed in two hours.

Kora is the only reason for a 5 star review - she is always friendly, knowledgeable, and answers all my questions without making me feel inferior. Prior to her, I have not received great service at this particular dealership (and reading prior reviews, I see that I'm not alone). I'm truly grateful that she's part of their team, otherwise I'm not sure I'd keep coming back.Anyway, after a terrible icy morning getting a flat tire and needing to be towed to the dealer for a new wheel and control arm, Kora and the service team were able to give me my car back in about 24 hours. That was true service! The bill on the other hand was painful. However, I don't think that Bell Tire or another auto care business could have gotten the job done in less time, even if it could have been cheaper - you get what you pay for.

I do not recommend getting your car serviced here. Went in for an oil change and they told me I needed new brakes. Completed it, but the brakes kept squeaking so I brought it back. They told me they drove around the block "stomping" on the breaks and didn't hear a squeak. Kept hearing it so I took it somewhere else to find out that they stomped on my brakes so hard the back brakes were broken and needed to be replaced. $700 damage.

This place did not want to sell me a car. I went in for an acura rdx and the sales man was very weird. He kept saying "You telling me if you want this RDX for 45k you will put a deposit down of 10k and take this car TODAY?" I'm like well ya but usually a sales person sits a customer down and goes over details.Then he brought his sales manager out which said he'd take the offer if I added 500$ more so instead of 45k he wanted me to pay 45,500. I laughed in his face because the dude lost a sale over 500$. BTW it was for a brand new 2023 RDX (and we are in 2024). Funny thing is he has 3 of them sitting there all 2023, all have been sitting there for months, and all 3 will continue to sit there because of their strange selling tactics. The dealership looks deserted and there were no other customers in there.Then I tried one more time via email to contact them and some lady took my emails and randomly raised the price even more. I had had enough and decided to go to Meade Lexus. I ended up with a MUCH better 2024 350 HYBRID which got 41mpg compared to their RDX 24mpg. I myself have an acura mdx, but I will never purchase from this specific dealership due to their strange selling tactics.Dear Sales Manager, Sales Man, and Sales Lady - you lost a customer for life, this place will be shut down one day.

My 2019 rdx was in need of repair. I was uncomfortable driving it on the freeway. Martin and Brett understood my issue and took quick care of me. I appreciate that this was handled in a timely and professional manor. The best Acura dealer around.

Waist time and money . Took our 2016 for oil leak around valve gasket . The tech who diagnosed the car said the leak happened due to the excessive amount of heat. I asked him how did you determine heat from exhaust . He wanted to run a second diagnostic fee. It s was very obvious even with advisor mentioned that s the car been sitting not in use and caused the washer to leak. The car was under warranty and claim was declined. Tech thinks car was overheated. I asked the technician that if the car get overheated that s typically will cause blown head gasket other internal damages ,not the valve cover gasket very poor knowledge. Car was taking to Fox who got the issue taking care smooth, easy and cheaper fix.

Don t get your car serviced here. They charge an arm and a leg and do not look at anything with a critical eye. I changed my own air filters about a month before taking my car in, they then charged me 130 to replace them again. It was hidden on the sheet they have you sign off on when you come in. Every other place I have been to will look at it and double check with you if it doesn t look like it needs to be replaced. I ll never be back.

I wish there was a zero star button. Poor customer service. We were there to get MDX and RDX for me and my husband. First no one came to greet us. And the salesperson showed zero interest. We were there genuinely to buy/lease 2 vehicles. Salesperson lacked every single ounce of customer service, enthusiasm to sell. He ran the numbers whatever was available on Acura website that we were already aware of. He didn't talk about any discounts. Most of the time he was looking at the screen. No talking at all. We felt so neglected. Acura of Troy lost definitely lost customers, who were there to buy MDX and RDX. Now we will be going to Acura at Ann Arbor tomorrow.

Acura of TroyA dealer ship is only good as the level of service you receive after the purchase. I can attest 100% that Acura DOES NOT stand behind their New Vehicle Warranty. I am new to the Acura Brand and was exited when I purchased an Acura MDX. However, I realized this brand had issues from the beginning like oil changes when your oil gets to 15% life. That means that in the time you would have paid for 4 oil changes you have actually brought your car in for 5 oil changes meaning that they are cutting your oil life short to bring you in more often. Next is if they say your vehicle need a Software Update (I ve never heard of this before) they will charge you $170. Again, another way to cheat customers out of their money.Next is the none existing New Car Warranty. My MDX had an Electronic Brake System, Emission System and Flashing Park light illuminated on vehicle notification system. I took the car in for service, they stated that the car gave an emissions leak reading, but they could not find it and because they could not find it I had to pay $169 dollars. I repeatedly ask why was this issue with the faulty sensor notification not covered by warranty and I was told by the manager that it was because there was no repair. I said you reset the sensor due to faulty notification, that is a repair. I was told it was not and I could have taken my car anywhere for the issue, and that THEY (THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT & DEALERSHIP) HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ACURA. Even though I was in an Acura dealership using Acura service. I WAS TOLD THEY SELL AND SERVICE ACURA VEHICLES BUT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ACURA. I was then told to call customer service which told me THE DEALERSHIP ONLY HAD YOU CALL US TO GET YOU OUT OF THEIR FACE I had her repeat herself to ensure we heard what she had said, THEN SHE HUNG UP IN MY FACE. I said this is a new car with just over 15k miles there anything that is activates the warning system should be covered weather or not you were able to pin point what trigged the issue. The fact is that the system sent out 3 separate codes to my notification system and I came in to have them investigated and I was told to pay up or I could not have my car back.I said I am new to the Acura brand and this is how you treat a new client that is faced with the decision of keeping the vehicle or turning in for another Acura Vehicle in the next two months? THE MANAGER LITTERALLY SAID IT DID NOT MATTER. I WONDER IF THE OWNER OF THIS DEALSHIP FEELS THE SAME WAY. I have not come a single time for maintenance service and seen people shopping the showroom at Acura of Troy. It seems like REPEAT CUSTOMERS WOULD ABSOULTLY MATTER. I said so $169 dollars is the difference between keeping a buyer or sending them to one of the other 10 dealers on the same road? I was met again with indifference and I went to the dealer next door to purchase a vehicle that cost 10k more. As the Acura MDX was paid off in less than a year after purchase. DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOU WANT A BRAND THAT STANDS BEHIND THEIR BRAND AND SERVICE.

Do not go to this dealership for service! They don't sell many vehicles and dealing with them, totally explains why. Rude, unknowledgeable, and a general lack of motivation to solve problems? Lexus dealerships sell cars, and are very good at it. The reasons why is self-evident! They treat people well. Don't waste your time here! I utilized them in a rush. My mistake!

I had a very nice experience with Kora. She was helpful and saw that i was in and out as soon as possible after my oil change and tire rotation. i will continue to go there for service.

My car was serviced today and I d like to personally thank Kora. She was prompt in seeing me and was already familiar with my concerns. She explained what would be done and gave me an accurate estimate of the amount of time the diagnostics would take. Later, she explained what was found and made suggestions about managing the problem if it should recur. She s a good listener and has good people skills. Glad she s on the Acura team.

Visited Acura of Troy for some maintenance work. Kora took great care of me. She was on time, actually a little early, and conducted herself in a very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient manner. Service was completed on time and all observations were communicated to me.

Even though the dealership is 30 minutes away it is worth it! I am always taken care of immediately at my appointment time. Kora is a friendly, welcoming presence, and the waiting room is clean and comfortable. I feel like a VIP when I am there!

The many times I have brought my Acura MDX here they have always delivered great customer service. I ordered roof bars one day and installed r the next along with some maintenance. They got everything done well ahead of my scheduled appointment. If they can work you in they will and for that I keep coming back. Kora was very helpful in facilitating my needs/and required work on my vehicle. Great friendly and professional customer service. I HIGHLY recommend Acura of Troy .great staff like Kora ; to service parts to paying my bill at the customer service window. Thank you Acura of Troy!!!

I ve been going to Acura of Troy for service since the year 2000. I ve never been disappointed with their work. I recently took my Acura in for oil change and wiper blade insert service. Kora did her usual great job of taking care of me. Prices were reasonable for the work performed. I definitely recommend Acura of Troy for sales and service.

Acura of Troy has taken good care of our very old 190,000 mile MDX. I am easily able to schedule an appointment on line. Kora is polite and efficient. She calls to keep me updated on the car and when it is ready. She gives me the information I need to keep the car running so the kids can keep using it. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Brought in my TLX for issue. Thought dealer would be the first and last people i can trust. Was told issue was a sensor in the transmission because out of the 10 plus codes that pop up; the transmission sensor code was the only one the technician could not clear. I brought it home Hooked up my Autel and cleared every single code. I'm sure it was too hard for the technician to figure out. So they just told me I needed a transmission . Thats an easy 170 just to hook up a computer to it. If thats what i wanted i would have done it my self. Now i need to find a real technician to bring it to.

To begin with Acura roadside assistance sucks and they took my car there for the first time, due to having a flat tire and this cars do not come with a spare tire, so there wasn t many options. Coral or Carol from Service, seemed bother to do HER JOB and go over the pricing options over the phone. They do not have parts for 2022 and do not offer you a courtesy loaner (when the car is under warranty) I called to get my rim that is being replaced back and they are charging me to have my rim back as well. This is supposed to be a Luxury Brand , might as well buy an Honda and save yourself a couple thousands for the same car.Do not recommend Acura as a brand , much less this specific dealer.

The first time we visited Acura of Troy for replacing the car battery we had a good experience, so naturally we decided to return when we wanted to install a hitch on our Acura.Over the phone we were quoted $690 for parts and $600 for labor. We payed for the parts and returned a week later for the install. That's when the problems started as now they said labor was going to be almost double the original quote (over $1,000).When I inquired about the discrepancy they denied giving us the initial $600 labor quote and kept asking over and over again "well who did you talk to?". We do not tend to transcribe our phone calls so that lead to nowhere. We were not comfortable with this new almost double price so we declined the service and tried to return the parts. They refused the return. Also, no shuttle service if you need to drop off your car and go somewhere and don't have a driver.Finally, the service manager assured me that they will respond and deny any wrongdoing put forward in my review.Unfortunately, we will take our business somewhere else from now on.

Martin is the worst manager I've had the experience of working with. He is rude, arrogant, condescending and needs customer service 101. Between Acura Corporation and Acura of Troy, I have been 2 months of trying to get the AcuraLink alert turned off on the app. Each of them says it's the others' job. Martin says it's going to be $338. I said okay. Now, it's over $2000. My husband says okay. Safety first. Martin tells me that I said things that are on true. If my statements are untrue, why does the problem still exist. Yes, the service dept. checked the car, but Acura Corporation wants them to check it again before the alert can be turned off. I say for this malfunction app or car, whichever it is, I should not be treated like ping pong ball back and forth. I will never own another Acura. Martin tells me that I cannot bring my car back there for service. For NON-SERVICE like this, why would I want to??? The tech at Jeffrey Acura in Roseville fixed the problem in 20 minutes. All he do was check to report of the car online. The car itself required a system reset and update. No Charge! Everything works fine.

Poor communication among team members. They agreed to buy my used Acura RDX - but on the day of drop off, they backed out as it was out of state and they didn t want to do the title transfer paperwork. Would have appreciated if this was communicated to me when I came on day 1.
