Sonny s Body Shop repaired our 2006 Pontiac Solstice after we hit a deer in October 2023. Parts are difficult to find since they stopped making Pontiacs in 2010. Doug worked hard to get the needed parts at the best possible cost! We are very happy with the workmanship involved in putting our little convertible back together again. Highly recommend Sonny s Body Shop.

Sonny s was incredible. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and they did great work! Great service, great work. They made it easy working directly with my insurance company and provided a loaner vehicle while my work was being done!

I will never go anywhere else for vehicle repairs. If I ever move away it will be worth any inconvenience to bring it to Sonny's. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond with every repair. I've had multiple body repairs done here, same experience everytime. I recommend them to everyone I know. They take care of you and no body beats the quality of work. I can't speak highly enough about Sonny Bodyshop in Traverse City, MI. Unfortunately, we've had a series of car troubles, leading both our vehicles to this shop in recent months. Andrew and the team provided exceptional care, working seamlessly with our insurance to ensure the proper resolution, avoiding the use of questionable parts. Throughout the process, Andrew kept us well-informed, even navigating delays caused by the UAW strike. Upon return, both cars were not only expertly repaired but also meticulously cleaned inside and out. The level of attention to detail exceeded our expectations and set Sonny Bodyshop apart from other shops in TC. While there may be a wait, it's unquestionably worth it to let these professionals take care of your vehicle.

This review is long overdue. I can't recommend Sonny's highly enough, especially Andrew Fritz. My wife hit a deer with the family minivan. Even though we have full coverage, due to extenuating circumstances, it was not an open and shut case with the insurance adjuster. Even though it was a difficult situation, Andrew handled it all wonderfully. He kept up constant communication (40+ emails and over a dozen phone calls) and helped us wade through the ins and outs of it, eventually getting everything covered and properly repaired. Perhaps the most amazing thing about it was that throughout the lengthy and complicated process (due to the situation with the insurance, NOT Andrew or Sonny's), at no time was it clear that there would even be a payout for the vehicle. So they had no idea if they would get the job or not. And yet Andrew stayed on it, did a bunch of extra work that I'm sure is not part of a normal cut and dried insurance claim, and helped get it all figured out. In the end the van looked terrific, inside and out. We recommend Sonny's to our friends and wouldn't hesitate to go back to them in the future.

They sent me spam text for 2 weeks after making me wait a month and a half to do a repair. Then they specifically disregarded what I told them about the interior of the car which had nothing to do with the repair. Then the front staff was very rude to me and slapped a paper down on the desk instead of simply saying the quote is on the back. Thanks for making me wait. Oh and if you're going to wait, you might as well pay half as much anywhere else.

So happy with my experience after needing body work done due to a deer collision. Somny's did such a nice job, provided a rental while they worked on my car, got it done fast, and returned it beautiful and clean in the inside and out. I was so pleasantly surprised with the fantastic and personalized service that I received from the entire staff at Sonny s. My truck repair was incredibly well done and they even did a deep clean on the interior of my vehicle as well. I would highly recommend Sonny s for all accident and body repair! Sonny's made our repair experience effortless. They were able to get our vehicle in to be repaired quickly and finished it in a timely manner. They did a phenomenal job! Absolutely beautiful work. We were provided with a nice loaner vehicle while ours was being repaired. The added bonus was stepping into our Jeep and being pleasantly surprised that they detailed it. Thank you so much!! I was in Traverse City on vacation, and we were involved in a minor wreck. The staff at Sonny s got my family and I back on the road quickly. Their service was friendly, professional, and quick. I am new to Northern Michigan, and when I was in an accident, I felt lost about what to do. A friend recommended Sonny s, and I couldn t be happier with the service. They communicated with me what to expect and were realistic about the time frame for the amount of work that needed to be done. They spoke directly with my insurance company to ensure everything was taken care of, reducing the stress of trying to figure things out myself. When I picked up my car, the staff was friendly and my car was cleaned and looked like new! Would definitely use Sonny s again (but hope to never have to )

These people are awesome professionals. From the beginning of the claim, they handled everything. my car looks wonderful. Not only did they fix the claim damage, they washed, wax and shampoo the inside of my car! Absolutely the best service I've had in a long time with my vehicle! Thank you Sony's!

They did such a great job with my Jeep repair! Super friendly and communicative, and they gave me a free loaner because my insurance didn t cover it. They also washed the exterior and cleaned the interior for me, so nice! Highly recommend them.

Front office was very nice and spotless! The front desk people were super nice too, especially the gentleman who did the estimate for my 2006 Subaru Legacy. He answered my questions and was able to get me in within a week, which is fantastic! I am very pleased with my experience so far. Also thanks for being dog friendly!

Sonny's did a great job doing a repair on my vehicle. They responded quickly to my calls and emails and did the repair quickly. I was surprised to get the car back and find that it had been fully cleaned on the inside and out. Very happy and would definitely recommend!
