When I first bought a car from Matt I thought it was just gonna be like any other buying experience, but a year later a couple of cars for my self plus a plethora of other vehicles we ve purchased with him, I ve found myself a friend, not a salesperson. Matt is an all around awesome guy to work with and he s even better to talk to while waiting for everything to be processed, but he also calls and we talk for a while about life; often not about cars. Matt makes the car buying process fun and easy, as fun and easy as such a big purchase could be. If I could leave 100 stars for my man I would. I send everyone I know his way, I don t have a single bad experience with Matt or any of the Serra team.

Working with Serra to purchase our vehicles was an enjoyable and no-pressure experience. We can't praise Dan Axtell enough for his tireless efforts and patience throughout the entire car-buying process. His dedication to ensuring we found the perfect vehicle for us, coupled with an almost unhuman level of patience, truly set Dan apart. A fantastic experience overall. PSA to anyone looking for used cars.We went to Serra of Traverse City. We thought they were one of the best dealerships and have been customers of theirs for years. No longer can we in good conscious recommend or refer them to anyone else for cars or services.We have found out from their managers that the used cars are not even looked at before you test drive. They do a quick drive and if it sounds okay they wash and put them out on the lot. This means that you can be test driving a car that s not even safe to drive, completely unroadworthy.Always always get it inspected because at the end of the day they do not care. They do not care if they even endanger their customers or community by putting unsafe cars on the road.If you want expensive lawn ornaments shop at Serra! Pics of what they re selling for thousands of dollars.We made a mistake by being trusting of the dealership and helped a friend get a car feeling like we did the right thing to only discover we completely misguided her by taking her here.Please let our costly mistake be a free life lesson to you. Please be careful with driving these cars that no one cares to check if they re safe and please do not let your hard earned money be wasted. You deserve better.

Can t service KDSS without replacing entire system. Gave me a quote for my service contract submittal of over 7,500 dollars for repairs that are realistically around the 1,500-2,000 range. Service contract denied repairs due to service department quoting skid plates and other uncovered component that were not failure point. Refused me continuing service due to their false representation of repairs after service contract denial. Do not trust them to handle your repairs as they will try to shake you and your providers down.I also had damage to vehicle that was unaccounted for by service department before delivery of vehicle.

Angel is absolutely amazing!She knew exactly what i was looking for, immediately sent me the car, and within a day had everything set up and ready to buy. She drove an hour and a half to deliver my car!After having a bad experience with my last purchase from a dealership, i was super nervous, but she made everything so easy and reassured me every step of the way! Would recommend her to anyone!

Zach did a great job taking care of us. He's very new, but seems to have a good idea of how the process works. He has a great attitude and friendly demeanor. I only rated 9 out of 10 because there is always room for improvement. I would work with Zach again.

I had been looking on Auto Trader for weeks. I reached out to Serra regarding a Honda CR-V. Chrissie Feike responded to my inquiry right away. She invited me to come see the car. I didn t feel pressure. Chrissie took the time to talk to me about what I was looking for and my timeframe. She answered all my questions and concerns. The price was fair. The financing was a breeze. I got a better interest rate at the dealership than the pre-qualified offer from my bank (Thanks to Mary Porter). I returned for the Simoniz coating the next day. Much to my surprise, Chrissie applied the coating herself. She made sure I had no buyer s remorse. Chrissie made me feel comfortable from the start. She knew every aspect of the sale. I am very happy with my purchase and my entire experience at Serra.

Justin was very helpful through the whole purchase process. I submitted my order for the 2022 Subaru Ascent March 3rd and although the order took so long to get here he gave me frequent updates during the process. When it was time to close everything was seamless from the lending to the scheduling to close. It was a quick process but so meaningful! If welcomed the opportunity with future purchases I will give him and Serra Subaru my business. Beyond pleased. Thank you!

I called the dealership about a vehicle they had in stock. Got in contact with Leo and Jordan and all I can say what a wonderful experience. Leo was kind and really informative in which helped alot. Everything went smoothly and all the things I wanted in the vehicle was done at the shop. Two week after, wife and I drove all the way down to go grab the car. And while there, nothing but great experience! Thanks alot guys and I will def be buying another vehicle there in the near future. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Great experience with Zach Grundy, very professional. I live over an hour away from the dealership, so Zach was able to sent up financing over the phone which saved a lot of time at signing. He stayed in touch throughout the process and followed up after the sale. I would recommend him if you are looking to purchase a vehicle at Serra Traverse City.

I had an awesome experience purchasing a new used car recently. It's always stressful when your old car dies and you hope you can quickly find a good replacement so you can get to work. We stopped at Serra and Matt showed me cars in my price range, then came across one that had just come on the lot. It was half of what I figured I would have to spend. It was definitely the unicorn on the lot but it checked out good with Garfield Auto and I brought it home today. Many thanks to Matt and Serra for getting me quickly into another car again (it's the 2nd time they've helped us).

The best part about my purchase at Serra has been the service department. They give fair prices, excellent and timely service, and keep my vehicle running great. Kevin is especially helpful, I had a small problem and he took care of it very quickly!

Mark was filling in for the regular Volvo service advisor and there were a few issues that came up during my vehicle s routine scheduled service. Mark helped figure it all out, got it repaired the same day and worked with me even when I was upset and overwhelmed. Thanks for your patience and kindness towards me Mark!

Bryan Snyder was terrific in assisting us with the purchase of our XC90 T8 . He knew the brand and the models extremely well. Zac Johnson made it so easy to get our van. We test drove it Saturday afternoon and were driving it by Monday afternoon. This is my second vehicle from Serra and couldn t be happier. We will definitely be back.

Drove up from Detroit to look at a vehicle that was advertised as wholesale to the public car was priced $2500 over retail price which I was prepared to pay if it was in great condition but far from it. Hood sensors didn t work and the car would give you a warning of the hood being opened, seats were heavily scratched, rear hatch handle gets stuck, to the point of the trunk not locking. bad oil leak form valve cover gaskets and more. Just do your homework before you show up especially if you re driving a little ways.

It was a very last minute decision. I woke up that morning and I said I want to buy a new car today. My little blue car was falling apart and I had it. I searched on car guru for and only found a handful I was interested in or had what I was looking for. I found one that I thought was perfect but when we got to the dealership Marc Thompson had already found us other options that were more in excellent shape than the one we were looking at. We appreciated his honesty and didn t just sell us the first thing that caught our eye, that had minor or could potentially have bigger issues down the road. Marc was super excited to show us the better options we had waiting. He was super professional but also very considerate of his clients. We left that day with a new car! Highly would recommend him and we have already. I know we are sending people to the right guy!

We started with Dillon on the phone, he answered every question we asked and got a feel for what our needs were. He directed us towards the vehicle that's pretty much our dream car, color and all. He is very knowledgeable about VWs and is very good at educating on the all the ins and outs of the dash computer systems. He is very friendly and honest. He stayed with us throughout the whole process, including the financial side. We would definitely recommend seeking him out when you're ready to car shop!
