I dropped my wife s car off because we were having a little front end noise and also wanted the brakes checked. Was told the wheel bearing was going bad and then they also said all four brakes were very rusted. Recommended all four rotors be replaced and it would be an additional $750. I told them to hold off on the brakes, paid for the wheel bearing to be replaced and then was charged $55 for a brake estimate? I took it down to the brake and alignment center (free estimate) they checked it out and said just the front brake caliper wasn t working properly and they would recommend probably replacing the two front rotors but the back brakes and rotors looked great and didn t need anything. I had them do the repair and it was much cheaper and the brakes now are working awesome with the brake and alignment center fixing them properly. I think $55 to get an estimate on a repair is a little extreme. And not sure where the estimate came from and why they thought everything was rusted so bad.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I've taken my car to Randy's twice so far and will be back! John and Randy are so easy to work with and friendly to boot!Most recently I took my car in for an AC recharge and a I was checking out Randy said, "so I'll just cancel your appointment for next week?" Apparently, I had gotten my days wrong and showed up a week early! They waited until everything was done to say anything. Randy said "you were here, so we got you in."That is customer service, and treatment you really don't see anymore! Huge thanks to Randy! Highly recommend!

It's comforting to receive honest treatment no matter your gender, age, and color. Especially not knowing anything regarding vehicle repairs, which can be terrifying for anyone. I can't thank you enough for your breakdown of what needs to be done first, what can wait, and your honesty with all of it!

Can't say enough good things about Randy's on South Airport. Went in to get my older car checked up before a cross-country trip, and received great service from beginning to end. The staff were excellent communicators through the whole process of replacing my rusty exhaust system and blower. Never felt like I was being talked down to or ripped off- and my total was even a little less then the estimate. Will absolutely come back when I'm back in town. Thanks for getting me there safely, guys!

On November 10th, 2021. I was in Traverse City for K9 training and the water pump went out on my 2019 Tahoe work vehicle. After calling several businesses who would not help me out I was given a suggestion to contact Randy's Olde Towne for help. I called and they were able to get my vehicle in within an hour and had the water pump replaced within a couple hours. They had excellent service and were Law Enforcement friendly. I would never hesitate to take a vehicle to them for repair. A big thanks to Randy's for helping out when nobody else would.Service: Engine repair

I don't think I can say enough about this place! Even though they were super booked, they got me in because it was so urgent for me. Also went above and beyond service finding out that I still had a warranty on my battery that I wasn't even aware of. Randy and John were so helpful. I will be sending everyone this way!

My truck got a flat tire and I was desperate to get it repaired before my 400 mile trip the next day - this happened at the peak of the 2016 fall "snow-tire" transition period when a 3-4 day waiting list is 'normal'. Randy's team was able to squeeze in my repair in spite of them also being booked. In true-form, they were prompt, courteous, did an excellent job, and I couldn't get then to accept my offer of paying an "extra 'emergency' adder" fee onto my bill. (Yes, the repair technician walked away with some extra cash that day). Wow! THANK YOU RANDY'S!!!

My first time going to randys was an amazing experience.they were incredibly helpful and patient with me. My car had been to two places before it got to them and nobody could figure out what was going on. They fixed what they thought was the problem,all things that were definitely broken,but my car ended up breaking down again the next day. They were happy to take it back and gave me my money back for the parts because my car had to be scrapped .[the second time the transmission broke down in 3 years]I couldn't be more appreciative of all of these men. I was able to afford a new car because of them and thats incredibly important because I need a safe vehicle for myself and my 1 year old.

Was headed on vacation and my dashboard light up like a Christmas tree, no one could even look at my car. Another repair office suggested Randy's Old Town and they also were booked but agreed to put my car on the computer to see if it was safe to drive. They found a sensor which was bad, got a replacement and fixed it in their parking lot. THANK YOU !!!!

Just confused, I filled out an application I worked for 2 days as an intern, I was told that I would get a call back and I didn't after I was informed that I did a good job I called them back about it said they would call later that day and never did ? so I just moved on...at least I got paid for my time

Best place in Traverse City to have your car fixed they are the most honest they do the best repairs and it's backed by a great guy his name is Randy and he will make sure you are happy this is truly the best place for a car repair

These swindlers will cheat you our of as much as they can. Check there competition for other/better prices. These people are penny pinches who rob people blind.
