These guys, right here. Don't hesitate. Don't shop around. Dave's garage is trustworthy, fair and straight forward. They use online tools to book, quote and pay. Brandon was very fast and super thoughtful when it came to diagnosis. Heather always checkd in after repairs to make sure it's working. Super A+, because we all know how hard it is to find a good mechanic. Look no further than Daves Garage.

My review is largely based on customer service as we didn't get our car repaired by them given the timing/part availability. We were in town from Charlotte, NC and our check engine light came on. We needed it fixed before we took our two day trip back home and given the holidays the part and service appointments weren't available anywhere. But Jamie was very gracious and tried everything to get us back on the road while many other dealers/repair shops were short with us. I would highly recommend giving Dave's a call the next time you have a car issue as they were lovely to work with.

Great communication skills. Dave s Garage is organized and professional. The work done to the vehicle was completely transparent and agreed upon using their digital portal prior to work and payment.Recommending Dave s Garage if you re looking for honest no nonsense work fine on your vehicle.

I ve been taking my cars there for a number of years. They do great work in a timely manner at reasonable prices. I have never been disappointed. I had a fuel leak in my Volvo last year. The dealership said they could get to it in a couple of weeks. I called Dave s and got it in immediately, thanks again for that.

I came in without an appointment during a busy holiday week and a car making a terrible grinding noise. Dave s Garage did a great job finding and resolving the problem quickly and got me my car back faster than expected. I can t sing their praises enough - if you need auto work done, you should definitely take your vehicle to Dave s Garage. Heather and Brandon were fantastic!P.S. Knee Deep rocks!

Dave s garage helped me when everyone else wanted to charge me an arm and leg. The cares about me and my Audi. They was able to get my car fixed in 3 days after they got the parts on. They was fast and very professional. I would recommend them all day if you have a foreign car like Audi. They know what they are doing.

My experience with Dave's garage was the best experience with a garage that I've ever had!! It started with the online form they sent where I could share info @ what was wrong with my car to make sure that nothing got missed, and continued from there - including the shuttle service; how the service manager clearly answered all of my questions and explored repair options with me; to the detailed photos of the issue they took so I could show the picture to a transmission rebuild place; and finishing with a follow-up message to make sure all went okay.Dave's Garage was completely amazing, and their attention to detail was awesome, unprecedented in my experience with other garages, and really appreciated. I will definitely be bringing my business to Dave's from now on, and I've been telling all my friends about how amazing they are.Thank you for such a great experience!!

It cost over $200 and took 2 days in order to fail to diagnose 2 problems (CEL and TPMS), and diagnose a third (valve cover gasket oil leak) that I already knew about and was the main reason for bringing my car to them. None of the issues were actually fixed. Not going back.

What amazing customer service. Dave's Garage saved me and my son. My son has a new job starting this week in Minnesota and his car blew a transmission fluid line two days before he was to move and start his new career. I called 10 different auto repair places and nobody could fit us in with enough time for him to make it. The dealership recommended that I call Dave's. I'm so happy I did! They understood my situation and told me to bring it right in and they would make it happen. 24 hours later, his car was fixed and disaster was avoided. Amazing customer service from a local company that cares. Thank you so much Dave's Garage!

Took my car in a week early and they worked on it ahead of schedule. They only performed the work necessary. They did not try to sell me anything I didn't need done even though they probably could have found more to fix. I would recommend them to everyone I know! Thank you!

This was the first time bringing my car to Dave's garage. I own a Mini Cooper and have just relocated to Traverse City. I asked the Traverse City Mini club for recommendations for good mechanics and hands down they said Dave's Garage. I was very happy with both the service and the communication.

Our Journey was running rough and we needed to go downstate within the week. Dave's in TCtook it in, analyzed the problem and repaired it quickly! Their communication is excellent and I like their system of analysis by color-coded levels of immediacy. Heather and Brandon were friendly and respectful. Dave's has gained a forever customer!

I'm so happy to have found a garage that I can feel good about taking my car to! The staff is wonderful, and I trust that they will fix what is wrong, without overcharging, and not invent and "fix" problems that aren't there. A definite two thumbs up!!

My first time having my 2013 Porsche Boxster S serviced at Daves Garage. The people were very friendly and professional. The waiting room was nice and comfortable with Wi-Fi. For a garage the lobby is beautiful! People are very nice. Shoutout especially to Brandon at the service desk. I have a Mercedes Benz and the dealership was full, so I couldn t even get an appointment for an oil change for over a month. Dave s scheduled me in a week, got it done within a few hours, and I was given a loaner car to use! Great place!Service: Oil change

We had some pretty significant repairs that needed to be done to our VW. Thankful Dave s garage was able to get us in quickly with flexibility. The staff was super kind in all of our interactions. I've taken my car there twice and they were great both times. The first time was for a tie rod replacement and they gave me a loaner for a few days while they waited for parts. The second time it was for front brakes. The got the work done before they had originally said and for the quoted price. Everyone there is very nice and trustworthy. I will definitely take my car there again if I need anything done.Service: Auto brake replacement

My experience was great from start to finish. They were able to get me on the schedule with short notice for a badly needed brake replacement. They provided extremely helpful shuttle drop-off and pick-up rides from my work location during the day while my car was being repaired. The brake pads and rotors were replaced and snow tires changed out for regular tires at a reasonable price. Thanks to Heather and Dave's whole crew who took care of us. In the middle of a 2-month road trip from Georgia we had brake trouble Dave s was able to fit us in first thing in the morning at 8AM, and had our diagnostic done by 9:15AM. Thankfully no repairs were needed, and they told us as much. Super honest! Very fair price, super friendly service, and a nice clean facility. Wish we had them at home!

On vacation and caught a nail in my tire! Called Dave's Garage because of rating and spoke to Craig which I believe is the owner.He told me to come within an hour and he took me right in.The young man who serviced my tire was polite and efficient in testing all tires and the repaired tire three times to ensure it was holding air.I had a lot of traveling ahead of me and felt the vehicle was more than safe for the road trip.Everyone was so polite, and you knew this was a business of integrity. Very clean environment as well.Thanks Dave's Garage for helping me out so quickly!Your efforts on my behalf were greatly appreciated.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We've been looking for a different shop for our domestic vehicles. Dave's Garage has been great to people we've recommended and have been great with the job we've had them do for us. We plan to have our future repairs done here and continue referring friends and family.

I've had a great experience bringing my car here for annual checkups and other maintenance issues associated with older cars. The front desk is welcoming and friendly, the communication has been proactive, and the service has always been prompt. They do a great job explaining what needs to be fixed and why and follow up to ensure you aren't experiencing any issues post-appointment. The office at Dave s Garage is always a pleasure to enter, as every person there is cheerful, polite, and very well-organized. They communicate with you promptly if there is any further problem discovered in the process of the repair, and, while I m not in the garage to watch, they seem to do the repairs efficiently and well. Having tried several places in the area, they re definitely the best!
