Amazing customer service.Top quality work, and most of all, friendly to the community.Clarke s is a place with honest, hardworking men.They will personally explain any repair or just simple facts about cars to give you a better understanding of what is being accomplished. They price everything fairly, usually lower than in-city prices, and will treat you with respect and dignity the second you enter there repair shop.I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for a friendly mechanic, at affordable prices that will aim to meet all your needs.

My parents recommended this place to get our engine replaced. They were fairly priced but you get what you pay for. First thing we noticed was our cover to our computer was missing and then we smelled gas. Turns out they didn't change the gas line that goes to the engine (which it is recommend it be changed) and it was leaking gas. Took it back to the garage (more time off work and the price of gas) were they temporarily fixed the leak and ordered me the part (they paid for it). In the mean time there was a noise that we had heard from the time we picked the vehicle up and it kept getting louder and felt like a part was coming off my car. My dad checked under my car before taking it back to the shop and I had a whole bolt missing off of the center support for the drive shaft and the 2nd bolt was about out. Sent Brian (the owner) a text of the picture of the bolt with no response and left a voicemail. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this garage!

I had a remanufactured transmission installed in my truck. There was a factory issue out of their control. They were able to schedule me back in and do a quick swap and even help diagnose and fix several other issues at the same time. They have excellent customer service and I ll be recommending them to anyone looking for vehicles repairs.

The people here are amazing, I cannot say enough good things about this place! I was in Sutton s Bay on vacation the Friday before 4th of July weekend when my car s engine light came on. Every dealership and shop was either closed or booked until the following week, even for a diagnostic. I had some extenuating circumstances that required me to drive to the airport in Detroit that evening, and the mechanics here were able to squeeze me in last minute to check my car and ensure I could drive to the airport safely. I ll never forget their kindness. 10/10 recommend.

They repaired the transmission in my 1 ton. They gave me options to repair or replace it and didn't recommend an unnecessary service. They were fair and thorough, and had the the knowledge to replace parts with upgraded aftermarkets which are not problem prone, and gave me the option to do so. Highly recommended

Very friendly people. Mechanic is super knowledgeable and took the time to point things out and explain everything. Will be back with any more vehicle issues.

I took my car in expecting a huge cost in repairs, but Clarke's service was honest and reasonable. I am very happy with the work they did and felt comfortable enough to ask questions, and got honest answers. I will go back when I need work done again. Thanks.

Trying to get ahold of them about if I can have my truck dropped off by a tow truck to get a ATF leak fixed and 4 wheel drive fixed. It's impossible no phone pickup call all day while at work and leave Friday for two weeks outta state and need my truck fixed when I'm back
