I was having issues with my brake lights and rear blinkers not illuminating on my 2015 Audi. I took it to a different shop who after an hour couldn't figure out the problem. They wanted to book me for a full day to work on it. I decided to call Brad at Car Repairs instead, and he was able to find the wires that had disconnected, and fixed it in less than 5 minutes! I would recommend Car Repairs to anyone! I'll be back for sure!Service: Electrical repair

These guys are GREAT. Worst car shop I ve experienced. I brought my car in to figure out why it was stalling out. They thought it was the battery, it took them two weeks to redo my battery and brakes (because I thought it was fixed) and they charged me at least $200 more than what they should ve. After that didn t fix the problem - my car was still stalling out. I brought it in again and they said they were going to cover the cost since they weren t able to actually fix the problem the first time. Three other people were around me and witnessed them say that. I mentioned that I thought the fuel or oil lines were causing the problem. It took them two weeks and they said that it was still running fine and that they couldn t find the problem and that I could pick it up the next day. Well the next day they call me saying that it s actually a bad fuel pump, there is no fuel pressure and now my car won t turn on all of a sudden and it s going to be a nearly 800$ fix. Yeah I m aware the part is expensive but they mentioned they d cover all the costs and now they want to charge me as much as they possibly can. The whole month it was in the shop, they called me one time, other than that I had to call them and then they d mention what was wrong with it or what was next - very poor communication and very poor help and they simply do not care to do a good job. This place is a scam!!! Do not recommend!!! I have never been treated so poorly by a car mechanic!! All in all, I ended up towing my car to a different mechanic that was a lot more helpful and better with communicating with me.Service: Auto engine tuning

By far the best place to take your vehicle for maintenance and repairs in the Traverse City area! They ve always treated me with respect and been transparent with pricing, timing, etc as well as keeping me updated on the progress or other repairs needed on my vehicles. Absolutely wonderful repair shop! My family has used Car Repairs Inc. on many occasions and vehicles. We have experienced quite a few emergencies and unfortunately the passing of multiple family members in the last year. Brad has worked overtime to accommodate for bereavement travel repairs, as well as general maintenance. They have gone above and beyond with our inherited Subaru Baja, all so tactfully, timely and supportively, in our time of grief. I cannot say enough good things about Car Repairs Inc. knowledge, handiwork, and their ability to create lasting business relationships. We ve been taking our vehicles to Car Repairs for years. Brad & Bob have always been trustworthy, honest and they do great work. With my Subaru, they ve been helpful with both routine maintenance and the larger projects. Definitely the best shop in town thanks guys!

Highly recommend Car Repairs Inc. Brad and his crew took great care of my car! I thought my breaks were going out and he told me my breaks were still good for another 10,000 miles. He did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge when it comes to car maintenance. They are thorough, prompt, fair and courteous. Would not take my car anywhere else!

Since I was referred to Brad by a family member I haven t had to think about where to take my cars. I go there (even had one towed there in the night) knowing I don t have to worry about a thing. The work is professional and the pricing is fair-that s extremely important as a single mom-knowing I m not going to have to worry about being price gouged. Car trouble is waaayyyy less stressful when you ve got a guy .Services: Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Battery

Great place honest folks who will work with customers. I'd recommend them over any shop in TC only I live in Gaylord. Hopefully I will find a job here? If not I'll be leaving Gaylord soon ,If I can get a better place to live too.Instead of this small studio I'm in now.

Three hours before I was supposed to leave for a 10 day road trip, my minivan started having issues. The great guys at Car Repairs dropped what they were doing and had me on the road in less than an hour. They totally saved our road trip! Not only did they make my day, but they did all of this with smiles on their faces even though it was 95 and I'm sure my walk in put them behind schedule. I highly recommend these guys!

I have had nothing but great experiences with Brad and Car Repair Inc. Recently I took my car in to have my brakes/rotors changed. A couple days later the breaks were squealing really bad!! Brad got my car right back in to see what was going on. Come to find out when I purchased the brake pads I was sold Organic pads, which is what was causing the noise. Completely unsatisfied Brad said if I went and purchased new pads he would swap them out for free!! Never before has a mechanic offered to do this. Especially helpful to a single mother like myself! Highly recommended Service: Brakes

After learning that I needed a timing belt and more replaced on my Lexus I started calling around to get quotes and to try to figure out who I could trust to do it rite the first time. I finally settled on Brad Smith at Car Repair s. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and able to get my Lexus in and out sooner than I could even get an appointment anywhere else and for a very competitive price. Brad and his staff replaced the timing belt/water pump kit along with a tune up, brakes and more. They use quality brands for parts, not the cheap stuff like other shops I have dealt with and they include a great warranty on their work. Car Repairs Inc is the only place I am willing to go anymore. Bob & the rest of the team has won me out entirely.I've taken every vehicle I've owned here and have always had a great experience. Their quotes (free quotes, too!) are always far lower than anyone else in town, and they do their research. I'm hesitant to take my BMW anywhere, but their knowledge combined with their work make it the ultimate repair shop in my opinion.I've never been told to replace something I didn't need to, and in most cases, I've actually been surprised by the final cost of repairs because they don't try to take advantage of their customers. I refer every one of my friends here, and swear by their work. I'll never go anywhere else. Excellent.

First time having work done here; followed Jay over after he closed his shop. Brought wife's Sienna in as it was dead in the water after a jump. Service was quick, these guys were upfront and straightforward about vehicle needing new alternator and battery as well as serpentine belt. Labor pricing very competitive. I will be bringing my business here henceforth.

Not disappointed with the great service at Car Repairs!! Brad was able to schedule an inspection on my BMW 5 series at last minute with ease!! Convenient and caring; most definitely will use again and I would highly recommend!!

As a young woman that knows nothing about cars, it's hard to trust car repair places. I've never felt mistreated, talked down to, or taken advantage of at Car Repairs Inc. Customer service is fantastic. I'm relieved to have a place that I know can solve my car issues with integrity!

When I needed a mechanic, I chose the one closest to my office. By chance, I ended up with Brad helping me out. We have since taken 3 cars there and now have an appointment for my daughters car. I will continue to use Car Repairs, Inc for all of our mechanic needs.

Brad and his staff deliver 5 star service. They work on both my 15 and 19 Chevy's as well both of my BMW's. Brad handled a full engine swap on my 530 with no issues what so ever, and is in the process of doing the same to my 335. Cant say enough good things about Car Repair INC.

I called Car Repairs out of the blue and spoke to Bradley about my wife and child's car breaking down. They helped her over the phone, asked her to bring the car by the shop, diagnosed the problem and got her back on the road quickly and safely. Bradley gave them the utmost in customer service and care while I (husband) was out of town. We'll definitely be bringing any car repairs to them in the future. Thank you guys

Brad was awesome. I was in traverse city for a hockey tournament and needed an emergency repair. Called Brad on Friday afternoon just before close and he offered to come in on Saturday to get me fixed up. Had the truck fixed and on the road by 1PM.Thanks Brad!

Years ago I had a quote from another shop for a wheel bearing job for almost $800. Bob did it for $275, and I have stayed ever since. Years before that, my wife and I blew a belt 1 block from his shop (an old location), and they replaced the belt and had us on our way in about an hour. I stopped in the other day to ask for advice on removing a relay (I had a $13 replacement, but could not remove the old part) that was stuck. They took it out for free. How does your mechanic treat you? Is it like this?

I have used Car Repairs, Inc. for around twenty years and have always been pleased with their service. Bob and Brad have both been amazing to work with. If you are needing a good mechanic I would highly recommend them!

Easy scheduling, super thorough. Made sure everything was right on my 2019 audi s3 before left. Brad and crew are amazing.
