I recently bought a used MasterCraft at Action Watersports of Traverse City - and I want to give a big shout out to the best salesman I ve ever met in Dave Silverstein. Dave was top notch in his knowledge of the boat as well as understanding of what I was looking for as a customer. He responded to my requests in a timely manner and made the whole experience enjoyable. When I asked for a water test before I bought the boat he was as excited as I was - he is a true boater that happens to be a salesman, not the other way around. This is how it should be!! Thanks again Dave!

Recently had a long drawn out experience purchasing a used Mastercraft. Started with Action, they quickly let me out of a deal that had some defects. No questions asked. I went to a competitor which ended in even worse outcomes. Action quickly took care of me finding a great boat at half the price of the first one. They were professional, honest, attentive and responsive throughout the whole process. Brett was great as well as all the J s - Josh, Jake, and Jordan. An organization with a high level of integrity and service. Would highly recommend Action Water Sports to anyone.

Just received my 2008 Mastercraft X15 from Action Water Sports in Traverse City MI. The work they did is fantastic and it was reasonably priced. They worked with me through the entire process and were accommodating and helpful the entire time. The staff was always friendly, knowledgeable, and available. Would definitely recommend them and sorry that they won't be servicing the boat now that it will be in TN!

The boys of Action Water Sports of Traverse City really took care of me when I bought my new Cobalt R3 Surf. They worked around my busy schedule to get it delivered. Pricing was very was very competitive and their follow up has been great. Thanks to Brett, Brian, and Stanley and some others behind the scene! Highly recommend them

The whole team at the Action Water Sports Traverse City location did an excellent job with my new Four Winns boat purchase. From my first call and conversation with my sales consultant, Jon Horstman, to the final delivery everyone was helpful, courteous, and friendly. I knew what boat I wanted which they had in inventory. They negotiated in good faith, presented line item details of the sales agreement, and asked for my business. It does not have to be a complicated process and they didn't make it that way. When I visited the showroom to complete the transaction in was early March. They had the boat inside for me to inspect and go through. The entire staff including the guys in the shop, the general manager, and even the owner, greeted me, asked if I had questions, and most of all thanked me for my business. When I took delivery and had the on water demo Jake did a great job. Since it was the first boat of my own he explained everything from the best way to launch, the complete operation of the boat, taking it out of the water, how everything on the trailer worked etc., etc. Back at the shop the pro shop staff did a great job of helping me select the right ski and other equipment I needed. All in all I would highly recommend Jon Horstman in sales and Action Water Sports for a new or used boat purchase. The experience at another major mid Michigan on water boat dealer was not even close. Not to mention that dealer had several additional charges. Thank you to everyone at Action Water Sports!!

Purchased my XT20 originally from the store in Fenton and it was a great experience. Was in N. MI between vacations and needed an oil change. Jim got me in on a Saturday and the guys did a solid, timely job. On top of that they gave the boat a nice cleanup. Super happy to get the boat serviced and not lose much time on the vacation. Jim was great to work with and would recommend the shop for service.

The team at Action Water Sports has been a pleasure to work with. My interaction with the service team, the in house shop, the sales team, and delivery personnel has been great. I'd like to call out Brett (Sales) and Seth (Service) - both are a reflection of the excellence I have enjoyed at Action. The whole team at Action Water Sports has been a pleasure to work with. Their professionalism is unsurpassed. They fully enjoy what they do, and have true passion for the products they sell. It doesn't hurt having some of the coolest toys on the planet! Thanks guys.

Was a pleasure dealing with Action Water Sports TVC on my recent boat purchase. Brett Dense was great. The transaction was quick and painless. Communication and professionalism was excellent and was treated fairly with respect. Highly recommend these guys.

I went into this dealership last July to buy a $5.00 part for my boat and ended up purchasing a new 22ft. Chaparral. I have purchased several boats, from several dealerships, but this experience was by far the easiest. The salesman was very helpful, he answered all my questions, and there were several, and at the same time I never felt pressured. I wanted the sea test on the lake we live on, he picked us up at our dock and spent almost two hours with us. We have had a few follow-ups with the dealer and their service has been exceptional, and since the boat cover was a new style, the salesman came to our house and helped us install it for the first time. I would definitely recommend this dealership, not to mention the Chaparral we purchased is awesome!

Our experience at Action Water Sports was top notch! This was our first boat purchase and the guys at Action made our process very easy and seamless. Dave Silverstein, our sales person, was very helpful and always responded to my many questions. He always took my calls or called me back asap, before and after the sale. We also bought our hoist from Action with the aid of Josh McMillan. He also was always very responsive and helpful. We love our new Four Winns Boat and ShoreStation hoist. Much thanks to Dave and Josh at Action, we highly recommend them! These guys are first class!

Action Water Sports blew away my expectations as a local MI boat dealer. From the very beginning of searching for the perfect family boat to the last step of feeling safe and comfortable in the water the entire team was there to help. They listened to our family dynamics, our desires on the water, and our experience level of boating and connected all the dots for a perfect family boat. The financing/insurance steps were super smooth and the water test drive was essential to know we made the right choice. I know my wife will hate me saying this, but I can t wait to buy our next boat at Action Water Sports !!!

Purchased a 2018 Mastercraft NXT22 and absolutely love this boat. My family has never had so much fun on the water. Dave was great to work with and we've had many interactions with Brett and others there who have always been helpful with our questions and watersport needs.

I'm at a point in my life where I just want to deal with good honest people- whether in business transactions or personal life. I want to be able to trust people to tell me good and bad news.I have always loved dealing with these guys at Action TC- whether in little things like helping me to take my boat off truck when I bring in, covering my boat or suggesting things to me like treating my platform or in larger things like servicing my X2 or buying boards and water stuff. I have had a great experience with them- no BS- I tell it like it is.Also bought an x2 from Brett in 2014- I am a pain in the rear when it comes to writing checks LOL but Brett made the buying experience easy and most importantly enjoyable.Good honest people here- I'd give them a long look for sales and service.I live on Elk Lake

The Team at Traverse City Action Water Sports sets the bar for boat dealers. I purchased my first MasterCaft from them last spring and I have been blown away with the level of service I've received since stepping in their door. Riley VanDyke who sold me the boat, went as far as joining my family after work one summer evening to teach me driving techniques for Wakeboarding and Wakesuffing. That evening was so helpful for me in getting to know my new boat and to understand how to get to perform at its best. Additionally, Josh and the service team went above and beyond to help me from a service perspective as well. Such a great team....

Purchased a brokered boat from the team at Action and had a great experience. Bought all the accessories there as well - Great selection, quality and competitive pricing. Very good service and responsiveness across the board. They really work as a team and there are no B players.

I visited the Traverse City Action Water Sports dealership in August 2014 and took part in their excellent Watersports Clinic. All employees seem very knowledgeable and are very friendly and patient. I am usually hesitant about giving 5-star ratings but this dealership definitely deserves it!

Extremely disappointed in the winterization of my Yamaha boat. Was quoted $390 and followed up by phone the day of pick up. Bill was $520. Was told labor cost was higher than quoted. This summer i purchased 14 dock sections from Action. Additionally, the boat was soaked on the inside, plug not pulled so water in the engine area but the worst was the clean-out plungers were full of water. If i would of kept it covered and stored it would of froze, expanded and ruined all the seals. So, for someone who has spent about 10k at Action... not satisfied.

We ve been customers for several years and have only great things to say about their service. Today was yet another example; we were having a problem with our winch and we expected we would have to replace the whole part. Service person, Jim, solved the issue in just a few minutes -without replacing the part. We appreciated the fast, efficient service. We highly recommend Action Water Sports.

Had a great experience working with Brett Dense. He was very quick to get back to me and was very helpful. I did most communicating through email and had a string of over 80 emails. He always responded within one business day and often within a few minutes. so far I have had nothing but good customer service.

Second very bad experence.About five to six years ago action fixed my mastercraft after storm damage at their Traverse City store with very poor results!!I had to chase down the parts and do all the foot work.This year Jerrry the owner assured me that the Traverse city site had changed. It had not!!I now have had another very bad over all experience when I bought a new boat at the Traverse City store. The boat came with some major defects and after two weeks of no help I had to call Chaparral my self to get the ball rolling. Chaparral told me it was no big deal and it was their busy season.Like a customers time is worth nothing.It is now November 12th and I did get to see the $5,000 REPAIRS ON A BRAND NEW BOAT? IT ALMOST LOOKED LIKE A NEW BOAT WAS SUPPOSE TO. THAT WAS LAST WEEKEND. I EMAILED THEM TODAY AND ASKED IF THE BOAT HAD BEEN STORED YET AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD SIT OUTSIDE UNTIL SOMETIME IN DECEMBER?Today Friday 13, 2015, I hired someone to pick my boat up and get it inside, it is soaking wet!!I am letting it dry for a day and then going to clean it and get it closed up after it dries.Not really what I was hoping for with my new boat as far as quality or service.The sales staff had poor knowledge and their communication was poor!!Thank God Seth is a good service person!

Jim and the crew went over and above the call of duty. Being from WI, Jim FaceTimed and sent photos of the boat. Everything was great when picked up. I have been boating for over 35 years. I d drive the 9 hours again just to work with these guys. Highly recommend no matter what some of these comments say. Just call Jim.

I just had a special event planed with my twin engine boat. One engine started quickly but the second engine had no electric to the motor. When I called several boat shops each said it would be 1 or 2 WEEKS before they could schedule me in. When I called Action they told me to bring it in and they would work me into the schedule and try to check it out the same day. After 4 hours they called and said it was fixed. Just a bad $5.00 circuit breaker. Thanks for saving the day.Jerry

Action Would not do the warrenty work on my new boat. They also told me they changed the oil like i asked the first season and they never did. I wont be buying my next boat from Action and have taken my buisness down the road.

Tried to get some warenty work done on my four wins and they gave me the runaround until the warenty ran out. Never got the cracks fixed in my boat.And I am never setting foot in this place.
