Great store for anything you need... Good pizza, deli and nice selection of wine and liquor. So glad they have upgraded their gas pumps as it is a great location for gas.

Pretty great store besides the cashier with short hair and a bad attitude as per other reviews. Ownership should replace her if they care about customers & business.

They have a little bit of everything at the store anything from camping supplies firewood propane gas alcohol lots of food and grocery pizzas subs they even had deviled eggs lol. Service was really friendly We picked up a couple beers and some ice for a cooler and the lady told us there was a nice little beach across the road so we went over there and sat and enjoyed evening for a few little while. Definitely worth stopping if you're in the area for just about anything you think of they have it thank you

Good location close to several boat launches the pizza is good for being a small town market but it used to be better and alot of the prices have shot up as well as some candy brands disappearing in the store. The staff is very freindly as well.

Great deli especially for such a small place! They are willing to make special orders and are knowledgeable about what is in the food items. The have a good selection of craft beers and local wines. The market is easily accessible by boat, bike trail or car.

I heard that Topinabee Market is under new ownership and it certainly shows. The quality of ingredients is no where near what it used to be. The pizza used to be great, now it's horrible. On top of that, the prices have gone up on most items. Bring back the old recipes (or better ingredients) the former owners had! Only reason I give two stars is the staff is friendly, helpful and awesome. The owner's son (Jeffrey, I think?) is a loud, obnoxious individual and should not speak negatively to employees while customers are shopping. That guy should not be a part of any establishment serving the general public.

Free AIR! One of the last few gas stations that doesn't charge two dollars for a min among other good things.

Coming home from the UP and my daughter informed us she had to use the bathroom badly. We came across the exit and it listed a marathon gas station. After driving three miles one way, we found the gas station to be closed. It was just before 11pm when we got there. Very frustrating to find a gas station listed on an exit sign to be closed and three miles from the exit. And after reading the reviews they do not even have a public restroom.

Went in for a charger. Which they had 100 Android chargers but one C charger. I was asking questions and the blond lady ummm wasn't very interested in customer service. People make people want to come back. From now on I'll pass on by

Coming home from Canada and had to stop overnight here since I was low fuel and most stations in the general area south of the border are closed until morning. Stayed a short while in the parking lot since there were no hotels and when I woke up and went inside (Only about an hour or so from when I arrived), the gentleman at the counter actually asked if I was OK, and made sure I knew where I was, where I was going, and if he could help. Had a short conversation while there, but the business spoke volumes for the care of someone. If I ever travel through the area and need to fill up or get some food items, I'd stop here over any corner gas stop.

We had the "pleasure", and I use that term VERY loosely, of visiting Topinabee Market. I had never been to Topinabee (the town is adorable) but needed to yesterday on a trip back from U of M hospital in Ann Arbor to Escanaba. I was with my disabled father, who is waiting for a double lung transplant. While driving I-75 he instructed me to go to the nearest gas station/rest area because he needed to use the restroom. At this point there are not many options. I came across the Topinabee exit and was relived to see a gas station symbol. We did have to go off the highway a bit (3 miles each way) to get to it and I decided to get gas since. I had originally planned on stopping in St. Ignace but didn't want to cut it short with the extra miles and was getting low. My mother escorted my dad into the market while I pumped gas. I was in the middle of pumping when they both came back to the car. I was confused because there was no way he could have went that quickly. My mom informed me that the market said they did not have a public restroom! He then had to wait for me to go pay for my fuel at this point before I could drive over to the one they suggested (there were no other businesses I could see that he could ask). When I went to pay I was furious that they would see this man having noticeable issues with oxygen tanks in tow, and refuse him! I told the lady ringing me up how I felt her behavior was disgusting. She reiterated that they have no public restroom, but they do have one for employees. I am very protective of my father, as I should be, so I wasn't the nicest when she still would not let him use it. Then I noticed the entire time a gentleman (also behind the counter) sitting there, doing nothing but listening. I then asked if either of them were the owner and lo and behold he was! Not only did he have the compassion to let him use the bathroom but he let me berate his employee for his policy without saying a single word! What a spineless jerk!!! For those that don't have a loved one with COPD related illnesses, thank your lucky stars because those that do know how hard every day activities, such as using the restroom can be. Life threatening even, at times. When someone has to bear down (yes I know tmi, but I feel people need to be educated), it makes breathing EXTREMELY difficult. Then add the normal constipation most have because of the numerous medications. This was an extremely difficult situation for him. They did instruct us to use the public beach house style facility across the street. The driveway to this facility was completely covered in snow from the storm and was difficult and dangerous for him to walk (with oxygen tanks) around to the back of the building. Thank goodness we did find a solution eventually and an ambulance did not have to be called (he has been hospitalized for this very thing several times, the last time being a very dire situation because surgery would most likely be fatal pre transplant). I just wanted to warn others that might be traveling down 75 who think that they will gas up, use the restroom etc, o not waste their time. The behaviors of the owner and the
