No wait. We were in and out in good time. Attendant explained options for different types of oil and mentioned Fords preference. Reset my oil gauge and brought my dashboard back to regular settings which I really appreciated!!

I've went here for along time with all my vehicles and today was very disappointing . I was charged 120.00 (that's with 27.00 off he said) so regularly 147.00 ???? WOW.... for a mobile 1 oil change (5 qts.).... Mobil 1 express lube will do it for 90.00 and less If you download a coupon. Looks like it's time to shop around for a new place. Things change I guess.....

Normally I would prefer this place and I still do when it comes to regular oil changes. With that said, DO NOT GET TRANSMISSION FLUID CHANGED UNLESS THEY TELL YOU THEY HAVE A BRAND NEW MACHINE FOR IT. I watched this guy struggle with the machine to get my transmission fluid out and I should have stopped him but I figured they would have good intuition and knowledge of what s going on with the machine. Instead of making sure that 100% of the fluid was out of the car they trusted the machine and overfilled my transmission fluid tank. This was right before my road trip to Virginia. I do admit they were awesome and sent the manager from Canton to Monroe to see what was going on because I wasn t going to risk messing up my transmission as I didn t know fully what was going on at that moment. They drained 1 1/4L of the fluid and the car was fine after that. They said that customer service would automatically give me a refund for the trans fluid change (I did not expect them to refund the entire purchase just the trans fluid change). I assumed that they would take note of what car was mine and time I came in to make the proper accommodations (it s easy to look at invoice history) but after two months I ve heard nothing from them and not received a refund. I probably will not get my oil changed here from now on which sucks because I actually trusted the place. I still have to get my trans fluid changed because there is old fluid in there.Services: Transmission, Oil change

They are great. The staff is very friendly and very informative. My only qualms is how much I spent for just an oil change and a carbon air filter. It was ridiculous. For that alone, i will not return, unfortunately.

They gave me a rate on the phone when I got there they told me something different adding filter adding service price. I was asking you don t want to add tip. So I went to another location they said they are open when I got there were actually closed.

First oil change and first tire rotation, lost one of my tire caps and gave me the wrong color set to replace it. Might not be a big deal but it s a brand new car and I don t appreciate having to replace something so quick, even if it s a cheap part, doesn t make me eager to come back.Services: Tires, Oil changeServices: Tires, Oil change

Leland did not put air in my tires. He also did not check my air filter or fill up my wiper fluid. And when I asked if he did he lied to his manager and but when the manager checked to see if he did, he said no you didn t. Then Leland said we don t have to do that for them (the customers). I ve gone to Valvoline for years and never had this issue. The manager told me that all of that comes with the oil change. Leland shouldn t work there if he doesn t want to do his job and provide proper service to his customers. I won t be back to that location and don t recommend it. Go somewhere that gives you everything you are paying for.

Lol they claim they checked my tire pressure but as soon as I get on the freeway my low tire pressure light comes on. I know one of my tires has a slow leak but if they checked my tire pressure and filled it to 35 it wouldn't go down that quick to cause my light to come on. This makes me not be able to trust anything else they supposedly checked. Also, I always get the synthetic blend oil change yet they put on my sticker for me to come back after 3,000 miles when I should get at least 7500 miles with a synthetic blend.Don't trust their competence and won't be back anytime soon.

The staff here was great. They took me in and literally changed my oil etc in 15 minutes and got me out. They were clear on the price, gave me a coupon, and showed me my oil when they were finished. There was a super nice girl there too which I thought was awesome!! Great place. :)

After having to go to the other Valvoline on telegraph in Dearborn because the didn t check my tire pressure, and the awful thing is after they changed my oil I had a transmission fluid leak and now my transmission is gone, I m trying to figure out what s the next step to resolving this matter, there not equipped to repair the transmission so they should compensate me for the problem that they caused, my vehicle was in great condition with no leaks until I had them do an oil change. Very Very disappointing, frustrating.

Bunch of automotive n00bs at this facility. Brought an older modified 97 firebird in for an oil change only. Told me there was oil in coolant and therefore had a head gasket issue, which turned out was just a little dexcool gunk on the stick from sitting, &no overheating issue whatsoever so that was BS when I and my main mechanic checked. They worried about bell housing missing from transmission, which is because of bigger aftermarket torque converter the housing wouldn t fit it in (which is not done on stock cars). Definitely trans has a leak though so 1 out of 4 diagnosed for them and they topped the fluid off for free which was nice, but not what I came in for. They refused my oil change in the end. Kinda laughed as they told me all the incorrect information and I just leftService: Transmission

Total: $310(+$50tip)... I came and made it very clear just an oil change, however the assistant manager said if i don't get few things done i would literally have my SUV overheating and fire. So i trusted 5employees. 1 slipped his # to me. I went not even 5 miles, overheated and stopped working. I looked... NO COOLANT, NO WIPER FLUID, and oil change light is on!?. So i called, they did nothing but say go mechanic. JOKE, RIP OFF, AND DISGUSTING PEOPLE AT THAT PLACE. don't go. I do routine maintenance, including oil changes for 2 of my 3 vehicles but don't have enough time to work on the third as well as my parents vehicle. So, after trying and not going back to several other local oil change shops due to various reasons, I've been going to the Valvoline Instant Oil Change on Telegraph Rd in Taylor for over a year now and have been completely satisfied with their professionalism and attention to detail. This is the only place I'm taking my car for oil/fluid changes that I don't have time to do myself.

This place is pretty friendly just like most Valvoline locations. But this one in particular just needs a little bit more work. There s a man there who seems polite, but honestly he talks just a little bit too much and after I told him I didn t have enough money for anything other than an oil change, he kept offering me services I could not afford. Then he told me 3 bulbs are out in the back of my car and they aren t. So I m glad I didn t have the money because I would ve paid them for nothing. The entire team was great! They were busy, yet they checked up on me while I waited. They were so nice and took care of me. They were very fast and informative. I am not getting an oil change anywhere else. I told my friends and family to go to this specific location. Thank you guys!

I always get great service at this location. The staff makes helpful recommendations and explains the benefits without making me feel pressured. I trust them with all of the vehicles I drive and will continue to stay loyal to this establishment!

Stopped in for an oil change today and just wanted to give a shout to the guys working at this location. They were very nice and helpful, even told me about a few coupons to save me money! They worked fast and efficiently and were so nice as we were leaving. Keep up the great work guys!
