David and his team are the best. They bailed me out of a tough spot and did the hard work. They treated my car with such care and respect. They did what no other mechanic has done to my care before actually looked and listened. I can not stress enough how amazing these guys are the pride they have in their work. How good and fair. If you have a classic dot you dare think of going anywhere else. You car will love you. I have more work to have done and it will be done here from now till they make me stop coming.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. They picked up my vehicle in pieces and boxes and put her back together again. Great communication throughout the entire process. My car isn't a muscle car or a hot rod, but they treated her like that. My car turned out better than I could have hoped.Service after the "sale" has been stellar........that is the true test of any company. After the shakedown cruise, they tool care of the little things with no issues what so ever. Dealt with Mike Sancho throughout and he kept me informed and wasn't bothered when I would drop by every few weeks. If you are thinking of taking your car someplace to be restored, customized or given some pizzazz, I would HIGHLY recommend the team at Motor City Solutions. First rate, 5 star experience.

Dealing with mike I got robbed. I took my 1965 Lincoln continental to be worked in here. They held my car for 2.5 years. After 2.5 years they called me in to tell me the car was completed, went to pick it up they changed the invoice from 10k to 15k.They then claimed the car was completed which was a lie the car was Jerry rigged put back together and things that were supposed to be fixed were not. Was told to come back in 2-3 weeksWent back to pick up my car took it home and then everything they fixed started malfunctioning again. Called them to address issue and was told they were not going to fix the issue every time it broke . Just an fyi this is the first time I went to use this car after I took it from them this car gets maybe 100 miles a year on it.3 weeks go by with basicly a we can t do nothing response and then they agree to refund me half my money since they know they robbed me.When u go here you ll see beautiful cars but if you re not an old white person you will not be taken care of. If your black or an Arab do not go to this place they will just rob u and smile in your face.

So Far So Good! I've been through the gauntlet with Detroit area restoration shops on numerous projects. MCS is the best. Large modern facility- fully equipped. Staff is well trained, heavy on past experience in the auto design and fabrication fields. Everything they have done thus far in regards to my 1966 Ford F-100 rat rod project and the preservation of my 1940 LaSalle convertible has been top notch. Fast performance to industry standards at reasonable costs. My project is not yet complete (in process) but I must say: MCS- Highly recommended!See you all at 2018 Detroit Autorama!

Seems like an experienced place and the employees I talked to about doing work on my 77 thunderbird were very nice. I was excited to hear back about taking the car in but they never called me back. Guess they don't want my business so I was pretty bummed.

John Morey and the crew are very professional and really go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with their services. I had them install xpel paint protection film remove a ding and wheel out the entire car. They sent me updates and pictures on the progress while they had the car. It looked better than new when they were finished.

Impeccable work and fair price but I have an issue with these people. after getting my fender and door fixed on my 2000 Corvette they forgot to plug in the Bose speaker in the door. So I call them immediately and was told there was probably an issue with the wiring. At which point I said know your guy probably forgot to plug in the speaker. Took it back and had to Uber back to my home oh, they fix it quickly and had to Uber back to the shop. No offer reimbursing me for the Uber rides until I asked, wish they only offered me half of a reimbursement for the ride to the shop. I would recommend the shop for work, but the customer service is a little sketchy.

Brought my car, 2001 Mustang Cobra, in to get some parts painted and a front bumper repaired. Steve did an amazing job paint matching the parts to my car and I can't even tell the bumper was ever damaged. The work was done exactly in the time they quoted me too. Definitely will be coming back when I need more parts painted.

I am the original owner of a 1971 Monte Carlo that MCS did a total restoration that exceeded my expectations. I couldn t be happier with the job that was done. It was one of the vehicles that was showcased at their display at the 2019 Detroit Autorama and was awarded 3rd place in it s class.

Just went in to look around and I felt Very comfortable with everyone I came into contact with... Very professional... High quality work from what I saw Very Willing to help with Ideas... I haven t even spent $1 there yet.... But I sure will...

Barley a star! they've got real cool things however never enough to keep going. They switch management way too much! It went from an actual restoration shop to a buy everything pre made and slap it on there.they have insurance, but it's extremely high if you've got a family. Also it's a who does the boss like better thing. Lack of direction for many things. hope things changed but I doubt it.other than that I loved everything else there.they've improved there overall location, it's starting to look more like a business than someone's garage.

You can't deny there's quality work being done. Only problem is you will pay double to triple and you will be on a long long waiting list. Like years and years waiting for your project to be done. Ain't nobody got time for that!

Motor City Solutions has performed a variety of services on my 69 Chevy from suspension overhaul to front seat rebuild to replacing the main bearing seal and freeze plugs on my 427. I trust them.
