Took my engine to get rebuilt told them to replace the piston rings and cam rings and bearing they only did the cam rings and bearings. Been giving me the run around to do my heads I paid for a head special they wanted to charge me to take the broken bolts out what s the point of a head special if I m paying extra. I gave them almost 2000 and don t have anything to show for it then they accused me of stealing rings when they Informed me they would have to order the rings.

Great experience having my SBC 400 built with them. Very knowledgeable team who have done hundreds of classic builds. They were very flexible to work with during these challenging supply chain times and worked hard to find the right parts in stock to complete the build. Fastime did everything all the way through dyno testing and stood by their build for a little hiccup we had on the dyno. Very capable shop.

I get skeptical about spending big money which I m sure you do if you re reading this as well. I brought my motor disassembled to fastimes and they assembled it for me with a quick turnaround time. James did an excellent job and Christine even offered to paint the block for me. After the install I developed an oil leak due to a seal going bad. They diagnosed exactly where it was coming from, R/R d it, and got my car back on the road instantly. Excellent customer service and I couldn t be happier. So far I haven t noticed any other issues. True working class people who love what they do and love to help others. Thank you guys so much.

I had my first engine built when they moved to their Taylor location before I had my engine built Craig the engine builder and Clayton the owner answered all my questions professionally and honestly and their experiences second to none and they gave me a lot of advice before I invested my money. I could not be happier with the results. I am not easy on my engine I hammer it and this will go to show you if you have a great engine builder like Craig and you use top quality parts you ll be much happier with the results thanks to the team.

The folks at Fastime Racing at fantastic to deal with! Their prices are super competitive and they often times can have your parts the next day. They are very knowledgeable about engines and are more than willing to take the time to help you figure out what you need.I just cant say enough good things about them!Thank you Christine and staff!

I was in Fastime's new location again yesterday. Clayton and Christine have done a great job improving their new shop. Things are looking up around there. I personally know two of the guys that work in the back and they are motorheads to the MAX. I wouldn't hesitate to take any engine/engine work to them.

Fastime Racing is my go to shop for my vehicle needs that the other auto parts stores can't handle, like the re-ring kit that I ordered for my Dodge. The staff treated me like family and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure that all of your questions are answered or they'll point you in the right direction. Never felt out of place walking into their shop with my regular engine. They have my continued business.

Probably the absolute worst customer service I've ever encountered. I've had work done by them in the past when they were in Wyandotte. Never had any issues. They were friendly and timely with their work. I try to spend my money locally and try to give my business to shops that don't work on a commercialized level.My opinion of them completely changed today. I just called to see if they'd resurface a set of cylinder heads for an EJ engine. The lady on the phone, who clearly doesn't know anything about engines (told her it was a 2 cylinder head, and didn't even understand that), refused to service them, simply because they're "foreign". She said, "my machine won't hook up to it". After I explained to her that it's a standard cylinder head and that nearly any machine will take it, she told me, "Yeah? Well it's my choice, right? Take it somewhere else" and hung up on me.I really don't understand why you would treat someone that's willing to give you their money for simple work like that. Needless to say, I won't be giving them any of my money ever.If you're someone like me who likes to give your money to good, hardworkng people, I definitely suggest staying away from these people.*Response:You told me only twice. The second time was just before you hung up on me. I don't think you have a legitimate excuse, I think you're just a lousy person that shouldn't be involved in customer interaction .

I Brought them an engine and they gave me back a rebuilt engine with a box of parts they didn't put back on, put on the wrong distributor, head valve covers are to big and the list goes on. Once I paid in full, they could careless about my issues. I voiced my concerns with Clayton and he pointed at me, told me he wouldn't refund my money (distributor) if I talked like that.(he didn't want to admit guilt). Anyway I took it to Watson to get dyno'd, and the unimaginable happened; valve got stuck in head. Fastime didn't properly inspect their parts before putting them all together and they wouldn't honor their work as they made Watson rip apart the engine and put it back together costing me 3k. So I got burned bad by this company. BEWARE please. Go to Holbrook or Watson or someone reputable.

I'm not a gear head and they knew it and yet they were very helpful. I've been back a few times,now its like Cheers where they all know your name or my 69 Cougar Eliminator they help me with.Nice people to deal with!

Needed a .625" crank pulley spacer and no one in town had one. Called and talked to Craig. Told me he only had a .950 in stock. But rather than just hanging up yhe phone he said we can throw the 950 on the lathe and turn it down to .625". Picked it up a few hours later. That's customer service!!

Fast time racing engines and parts got me together with a part for my old school that i had been searching for high and low, but with only one call Fast time's beautiful Receptionist was a very informative professional that put me in good hands.Ill most definitely be shopping with them again....

Brought a set of LS heads in to get Helicoils and a cleaning, took about 2 weeks to get them back, and the cleaning was decent. Helicoils were done very well.

Christine and clayton were a joy to work with built a little small block for me making 1.25 horsepower per cubic inch. A joy to work with and always with a smile. I want to stop by there just to see what there doing next. Need to get a liquor license and serve beer.

walked inn and they showed me the shop and talked to me very very politely and walked me through the steps on building my engine and priced out my engine to my budget and i was very very pleased. there work and staff are top notch and I can't ask for more.. there better by far then any other shop i have EVER walked in or been at.!!!! i will be back again and again

Good place if you need motor parts great people to own it the racing people themselves they know what you're talking about anything you've got going they're on it
