I brought my 07 yellow ford ranger and I was treated like gold they told me my car is in vary good shape for the age and did the basic oil change I asked for and also changed my trans oil every one there is vary nice and happy to see a good reliable car long live the power ranger I will be back in the next 5 months for a second oil change thank you for good service

Wanted to try somewhere different, didn't feel comfortable at the other places in town. The guys there were extremely friendly and worked with efficiency to get my oil changed and get me on my way. This is the 2nd time I went and was met with smiling faces.

Don't go here. If the previous reviews aren't enough...let me tell you a quick story. I go into this place for an oil change. In and out, no issue. Problem was a couple of days later when i notice Oil leaking onto my driveway. The dipstick was not inserted back into channel, and the oil filter was not tightened all the way down. This caused oil to leak all over my engine, and drip all down to my driveway. This is a brand-new vehicle mind you....so I went to the dealership, and they confirmed what I found. I then called up American Oil and Lube and the guy that worked on my truck asked me to come back to inspect. I went back up and to this guy's credit, he took accountability for the mistakes. He then gave me the number of Sam (the owner) who didn't pick up the phone and did NOT call me back. Funny part is, I understand that mistakes happen and if this guy would have just refunded me the cost of the oil change...this all would have gone away. So, at this point, I disputed it with my credit card and THEN the owner tried to finesse my credit card company. So, congratulations Sam, now we are going to go to small claims court for not only the cost of the oil change, but the detail on my truck and the cleaning of my driveway. I'm also going to file a BBB claim and make it my personal mission to let as many people know as possible HOW you treat your customers. Someone has to stand up to this type of behavior.Service: Oil change

My wife took her car here by herself (first mistake) for a basic oil change.As she's about to leave they say "Oh, by the way your PAG Oil from the AC condenser is leaking really bad" Magically, as my wife pulled into this place her PAG oil just randomly starts leaking? No. They were moving too fast below and did something to cause this. Didn't offer to fix or help replace. Just told her about it as if it was her fault. Sad part is, I've been going here for years. I'll never be back and I'm contacting a lawyer to get this resolved.

I had no problems with oil changes until they recommended a radiator flush and fill,I let them do the work and it was down hill from there I needed a new radiator. They hold no liability

These guys will give you honest and quality work every time. service with a smile. They will tell you what services are due and ones that can wait till next time. top notch people. highly recommend. I have been going here since I purchased my first vehicle back in 2011 and I have never felt ripped off. Sam and Keith are the regular techs that assist me and they are wonderful. They always show me the new filters and that they throw the dirty ones out.I can t say enough good things about this place and the employees.

Asked for their advertised $19.99 full service oil change, got charged for the 24.99 oil change plus a $10 oil filter bc my car is foreign (?). Came out to $33.60. Not only false advertising, but charged for a more expensive service and extras without checking with me first. Luckily I had the money, but do not go here unless you want to be forced to spend more money.Service: Oil change

Keith and Mike took very good care of us, we left there very very happy customers! I've actually been going to American oil and lube for the last 3 years I've never had a bad experience there never! they're quick, they're efficient and they're very friendly.

TERRIBLE!!!! I will NEVER return!!! The guy was really nice. Didn't push anything I didn't need. But the problem came about a month and a half later. When my car started making funny noises so I took it to a place in Redford that had really good reviews. And they said where the HELL did you get your oil changed last and how long ago was it. And I told them I wasn't even due for an oil change... And whoever did it at the Taylor Valvoline OVERFILLED MY OIL BY 4 QUARTS!!!! And the oil was BLACK! I will never be back. You don't get paid to screw people over. Learn what your doing! God knows what would've happened if I would've taken my car in any later then I did. I will also be reporting to the better business bureau!

BEWARE! DO NOT GO HERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN. They think they can trick you and they will overcharge you! I went to get my oil changed and was told the filter was the reason my engine light was on. I trusted them and was charged an additional $15 for a new filter. However, he proceeded to restart my battery which turned off my engine light... IT WAS NOT THE FILTER. They did all of this at the same time, thinking I wouldn't connect the dots...WRONG!

I sent my daughter-in-law here to get the oil changed in her 2004 Volvo.They changed the oil and air filter for $102.31 and said they checked the other fluids but the radiator and washer fluid where both low when he car was returned. Wouldn't recommend this service center.

Always honest. Don't try to get you to buy a bunch of stuff you dont need. In and out in under 10 mins. Always charge the same price. My whole family goes here. Never had any issues.

This place will never get my business ever!!! I went to get an oil change 10 days ago and my change oil engine light came on. I was in shock because there was no possible way that light should have came on when i just got my oil changed. Needless to say, my truck has been driving rough ever since and thatvwas unsually. So, i took my truck to Ford where i always get the oil change and found out my filter wasn't installed properly, nor did i have the correct oil in my truck that i paid an extra $10 for and my oil was overfilled.I am very dissatisfied of the service i received and do not appreciate this establishment messing up my vehicle. If you work a job that you are not qualified or knowledgable to do then you need to find something else to do because my car is my livelihoods and i cant afford it to get messed up from useless employees. I will never be back and i will spread the word for no one else to entrust their vehicle with these people. I will be contacting the BBB on this establishment.

I've been coming to this establishment since discovering they are very aggressively in the market of competitive pricing for the oil change place I was using was overcharging Me by $13 compared to these guys.they get you in they get you out there not really big on trying to up-sell you they just let you know on things you might need.when it comes to the oil on my vehicles both of my Chevy Trailblazers go to American Oil and Lube. And they have great deals on semi synthetic usually I'm 50 out the door and that's Seven quarts Plus tax.and please remember these guys got families to and their not making money hand over fist. So don't be afraid to TIP your oil TENDER lol . Update 6/8/2019 still rockin eith Keith and the crew here luv these guys the owner should be proud to have KEITH at the front of his business . Always takes care of me and never had an issue yet and theyve done some simple thangz!!!!

Go here for every oil change since I owned my car. Never add extra stuff, wipers and air filters twice a year. Could do without wiper changes but I'm super picky when it comes to seeing in the rain

Didn't change my filter, found it crushed in on itself when I rechanged my oil 3weeks later. Don't know what oil they put in I'm assuming some thin oil from the way it was running after.

They over charge...say ill give u a deal and then not tell u how much sevices are...then hand u a 400 bill...then threaten to call cops if u do t pay rest...so i called and talked to owner..got quote for work i had done and was 100 dollars less...so where was the 100 extra suppose to go...scammers name is kieth...called cops..

Like most places they dont top off all the fluids like they say. Suppose to check the differential too but don't. Had a leak in mine and didn't know it till several days after a oil change when I found out it was a quart low. Figured it took about 8 months to get that low again after keeping an eye on it till I could find time to repair.

I was there almost 2 hrs.. for an oil change the tech couldn't get the filter off I had to go buy a filter tool for them to finish the job.. still got charged full price 79.99...all I got was you tied my stall up for 2hrs.... if they had the correct tools for the job it wouldnt of happened... never again wish they had a cooperate number I'd effinetly demand a refund..

Awful place to do business.They do faults advertising and over charge your creditcard.I am reporting them to the better business bureau.Also i have disputed with my credit card company.I will never visit this place again.
