Had an amazing experience with this location. Steve was beyond helpful and friendly, despite being extremely busy. They had the part I needed in stock and at a reasonable price. Friendly service, after switching my regular auto parts store due to a few experiences I had I know that I found my new place. I've got two general motors vehicles so I will definitely be a frequent customer for years to come!Keep up the event work!

Went to pick up a new battery before the old one left me stranded (again). I brought some tools to change it out in the parking lot but didn't need them. Josh came out and changed it for me. Really nice guy, friendly and professional. Cleaned and sprayed the existing clamps. Will definitely recommend this store.

Been here a couple times, and they usually have what I need. Most of the sales associates are very rude but Jackson is the best, Always willing to help and go the extra mile.when you go ask for Jackson.

Girl at the counter named Brii was very disrespectful. Always has an attitude for no reason when I come in. I asked where the light bulbs were for my car and she just said right behind you without telling me what kind my car needed. Very rude.

Not impressed. I'm big on customer service, and this place was not on the radar for any positive back. Guy that assisted was not pleasant at all. I would have brought the item back but how ironic your competition had no issue putting the bulb in for me . Hmmm I guess we go to them now.

Walked in got what I needed waited at the counter for 10 min so the husky girl could finish her call on her personal phone giving legal advise to what seemed like person with custody issues. When I was checking out I asked about a certain product and she told me they don t carry them and that I was better off going across the street to auto value. She didn t get off her stool at all so I went and actually found the product I was looking for that she thought they didn t carry. Did I buy the product? No I went across the street to get what I needed.

I have only had one issue with this place but overall it is a good store. Kevin is very friendly and quick with what he does. I wish I knew the names of the other guys but so long as Kevin is there, your gonna walk out happy guaranteed. Took me years to figure out which one was kevin.

I am an Auto Zone customer. However, I moved to Allen Park a year ago and there is an Advance Auto 1/2 mile from my house. The first time I went in was for some brake lines. When I needed some adaptors the rep. said, "go to O'Reilly's for them. We don't have them here. There I was standing in front of a rack with hundreds of adaptors on them. I knew he was being flat- out lazy and simply did not want to deal with it. It was to my advantage that he sent me off because I went to an Auto Zone on Telegraph in Taylor and one of the reps in their was a brake line genius. He knew EXACTLY what I needed for my Subaru. Time and time again I went into Advance on Ecorse in Taylor and most times the service is terrible. Except Paul is extremely friendly, helpful. Let me tell you what happened today. I went in with my starter in my hand. I asked the lady if she could check it for me. She says, we would but there are only two of us here. Even though there was one customer in the store and she was at the counter with no customer. I could understand if they were busy, but again one customer in the store. Now there is and I'm sorry I don't remember his name. He is an African American young man who knows exactly what you need, where it is and you are on your way with your part in minutes. The problem is most of the time it's that young lady with black hair that is not customer oriented. She takes offense, discourages you where you don't want to go back.I was in retail in my earlier years and it's sad but true, a couple of employees can ruin your entire business. For now on I will drive the 3 miles to my Auto Zone.

I bought wipers bases on the staff's recommendations. I tried to put them on in the parking lot and they were wrong. I come right back in the store and fumble around in the wiper isle for 15 minutes, while the staff ignores me and the fact that i had been in there less than 2 minutes earlier buying wipers. Of course they didn't have wipers for my rare 2017 equinox. When I come up to the counter to return the wrong wipers i don't even get asked why I'm returning them or if I found what I needed. YOU JUST SOLD ME THESE THINGS FOR GOODNESS SAKES! Aren't you curious? Smh....In their defense there was was one other customer down the oil isle.

One of the workers messed with something our van which caused it to mess up. I noticed this very quickly and it turns out he was drunk and has done that before. It took four other guys to fix it and it took an extra hour.I won't go back here to do this. And i definitely wouldn't recommend this place, but the helpful manager who fixed it was nice.

Sorry place to go. I ordered my Online and was instructed to pick up my stuff. When I got to the store At 6 15pm. Found them closed. Paper sign in the window says temporary store hours now closes at 6. Big waste of time. I feel that if they close early they should change the website hours as well

Went in to get headlight bulbs. Price was $16 less on Amazon. They said they don t price match Amazon, but they do price match other auto stores. I said they didn t have to match Amazon, but if they could apply a store discount to get closer to the price that would be good. They would not apply any discount. I then showed them the price at Autozone and they said I had to go to Autozone and prove that they had the item in stock, then they would match the price. I said that defeats the whole purpose and showed them that their website shows the part is in stock. It didn t matter. I concluded that they didn t want my business and drove a mile down the street to Autozone in Allen Park on Southfield road. I grabbed the bulbs, went to the counter, showed the gentleman the Amazon price and he said he could take $10.00 off for me. Didn t need manager approval either. Go figure!

Well i came in and 2 guys were looking on the computer with a customer. So I stood there for over 5 minutes nobody said Hello or acknowledged me. Then the phone rang one of the guys answered the call and proceeded to the shelf for something. Here I am thinking wait a minute I should of been helped before he answered the phone? Anyhow then came a third person from the back and asked me if id been helped and I said No and then he helped me. Wow! These are all grown men! Im sure they have customer service skills! Anyhow the guy that checked my car with tester was very nice .

Never have any problems getting a great price. Purchased Calipers, Rotors and Pads. One side wore tremendously faster due to a slightly pinched brake line. No questions asked... They warrantied everything!

Didn't have what I needed. But most of the staff either wasn't wearing a mask or decided that their chin needed it more than their nose and mouth. If the general public HAS to wear a mask , as stated on the door, then these employees should lead by example. Will not be back

I can't believe a company would let their employees work in the conditions of this location. Gross! Truly Sad. Also can't seem to get anyone to work there that knows what they are doing and all the good workers are gone. What's the deal Advance?

The young lady is always very helpful and knowledgeable. She is always busy but still has time to answer your questions with her full attention. I will not go to any other auto parts store.

Website says they close at 9 and I walked 2 miles with a battery only to find a handwritten paper on the door saying they closed at 6. A three hour difference that wasn t even updated on the internet. I see a lot of others saying they had similar experiences. Who s running this store? You re doing a terrible job.

I go into the Allen Park store around 5 pm on May 28th looking to purchase some wiper blades. I walk in and the young lady behind the counter asked me what I want and I said wipers. I tell her my vehicle and she shouts out 22" Before I get to the counter she shouts out no 24". When I get to the counter I have to move the carts of stock in front of her register and she is on the phone and says to the customer I can't see that far for the price. She hangs up with him and makes a comment so the super cheap wipers?Seriously? I'm sure I didn't ask her opinion on the quality of the wipers I was buying.

The staff is super friendly. They can look up any car part for you and can even grab it off the shelf for you. If you buy windshield wipers here they will put them on your car if you want.

Do not go here. We drove 30 minutes to this store and was turned away at 6:05, despite their hours online showing 8pm. We tried calling to explain our situation and they turned us away.

I went into the store yesterday..it was very quiet yu could hear a pen drop..a cashier (female) stood at the register doing inventory im assuming...I asked for her assistance and before i got out my sentence she pointed out the WRONG item..so I began to look for the correct item without a clue..a few minutes later a white male walks in she greets him with a smile asking if he required her assistance..needless to say i left..i dnt think i should spend my money in a store where the workers could pick and choose who they feel like providing assistance to..
