I ve always had an amazing experience with Carney s! I ve multiple vehicles serviced here and the work has always been done quickly and honestly. I am always surprised at how good the price ends up being as well! They also have stood behind their part/work warranty multiple times without me expecting them to. I won t take my vehicles anywhere else! Thank you!

I've taken my vehicles here for the past few years and have been happy every time. Mark is a real honest guy and his shop does great work. I was real happy that his team actually torqued my lugnuts after my recent brake job & alignment. A lot of shops crush them on with an impact gun, including well known tire shops. Quality work at a decent price.

I do 99% of my own work on my vehicles, but it's just not cost effective to own some equipment, like an alignment rack or tire balancing equipment. I can always count on these guys to be fair, honest, and friendly. I brought my truck in for front brake repair. Mark was friendly, and made sure it was ready the next day as promised. He found an error on the original estimate for Parts, and corrected it. I can t thank Mark and his crew at Carney's Complete Auto Service enough. These guys are the best. I ve taken all my vehicles to them over the last 8 years and they go above and beyond to satisfy my automobile needs. Mark is great. Anytime I have a problem I called him up and he has been able to get me in. Very Professional and great to work with. He has worked on a couple different Vehicles of mine and my sons. If I have a problem he lets me know my Options before he does anything. I needed a new battery for my classic Porsche and Mike went out of his way to research current Interstate models to make sure he was selling me a battery that was correct for my car. Not the first time I've dealt with Mike and certainly won't be the last. He's a good man who cares about his reputation in the community. Highly recommended.Service: Auto battery replacement

I have historically taken my cars into Walled Lake because there is a mechanic that I trust there, and those are not easy to find, so I haven't taken my cars anywhere else for years. However, I had an issue that I didn't want to risk a 55 mile drive for, and this shop is within walking distance of my house. So right before Thanksgiving, I took my car here, and was blown away. I expected that I would pay several hundred dollars (or more), but to my surprise, the issue and costs were minimal, and he didn't try to get me to repair or service anything but the root cause of the issue. I am not the only one who has had experiences like this; everyone in the community that I've talked to since takes their cars here, too. I highly recommend that anyone in need of service for your vehicle to look no further than Carney's; I'm confident that your experience will be every bit as great as mine was.

Well, this is my second experience with Carney's. The first experience was not good and I left a review on this site. I noticed my first review has been removed. I thought I'd give them another chance with a simple repair of a flat on my pwc trailer.I dropped the trailer off several weeks ago for repair. When I called a week later to pay I was put on hold for over 30 minutes and then I hung up. I felt this was strange, but these are some strange times with C-19 out there, so I just accepted it as no big deal.I stopped by to pick up the trailer today. I waved on the way in, backed up the car, and hooked up the trailer. I went to the front office to pay but the door was closed with a note on it. The note had a phone number on it so I called to pay as I drove off the lot. I read my card information to Mr. Carney and then he stated that the credit card machine timed out and I'd have to read my card number back to him. No problem, I read it back to Mr. Carney. He then asked for my home address. I politely asked if he really needed my address and he responded that his credit card machine is old and requires an address. I responded that I have never give my home address to someone to make a credit card payment and I will put the check in the mail - his response was I will be right outside! At this point I am 2 miles down the road.Within minutes, Mr. Carney calls and leaves me a voice message to not put a check in the mail as he does not need my home address to process the charge to my credit card, but it somehow saves him money in the credit card transaction. In other words, he was less than honest with me about not being able to process my credit card without a home address.Within minutes, Mr. Carney then calls again to tell me that had I sent him a check it would have contained my home address. He also tells me never to return. I guess he felt this was a "gotcha moment" that somehow vindicates his behavior.I understand these are trying times for everyone. I believe Mr. Carney is collecting address for some reason, perhaps a flyer of some sort. I do not believe his credit card machine requires an address nor does he get a discount when providing an address. In essence, I think these are little white lies. After all, he was able to process my credit card without a home address. Think twice about bring your car to Mr. Carney.

Just recently got a rough country 3 inch lift on my F150 new tires ect price was great fast easy and reliable! Great place to have all my vehicles done! Carney s is highly recommend!

I have used Carney's for about a year now. (Previously went to a shop in Chelsea) I would highly recommend this shop to my friends and family. They are personable, trustworthy and have reasonable prices. If you want a shop that you can continue to trust year after year, look no further. Thanks Mark!

I have been to see them twice. I keep going back because Mark takes the time to explain what's needed. He is a genuinely kind person. This is the best place to find an honest mechanic.

You can t get better service for your vehicle than when you bring it here! Always fast, always honest and always affordable! If you ve had your vehicle serviced before you know those are all hard traits to find in a shop! I wouldn t take take my vehicles anywhere else. Thanks guys.

I've always gone to Carney's for just about everything. The prices are affordable and they don't take advantage of anything. Always friendly and helpful people. Fast service as well! I would recommend to anyone and everyone! You won't be disappointed :)

My husband being a quadraplygic in a power chair our converted van is a extreme asset and must to us. Most can just hop in another person's car should something happen. Our van is as important role as his wheelchair being his legs. So for it to breakdown can cause a ripple effect for us to get to Dr appts and just to the store . Thanks Mark Winnie he got us in immediately and fixed up . Most never have to think you break down what are you doing w that 500 lbs chair if it happens??. And moving a quadraplygic to another vehicle . Especially if snows on ground at all . Thanks for getting done in a timely matter and running again. Any one needs work send them over to Mark Winnie at Caney's in Stockbridge. Great hometown shop w quality , knowledgeable staff, Thanks again Mark !!!

I started taking my vehicles here about a year ago...very good service.....repairs done on time...they explain what and why things need to be done or can wait...fair prices....i trust them with my familys vehicles!

this place is a total ripoff, charged me over 375.00 for a wheel hub assembly, the end bill over 1k. I later bought another one for 75.00 and put it on myself in 45 minutes. To make it worse, Carney's part only lasted a year.
