Oil change issues. I Went in for an oil change, which I made an appointment for and I was told it was going to take about 30 minutes and I was next in line, there was no one in the area when i arrived no cars in the bay either. so I went and walked around the store I came back multiple times and they still had not done my oil change after 2 hours. Finally after complaining because I had to be somewhere the "ACC coach" went and got my car and pulled it into the bay and said he would personally make sure it got done right away from that point it took another hour to get my oil change done, they checked off all the boxes on the receipt saying they filled all my fluids and whatnot but I watched through the window and they didn't do anything but oil. I checked my fluids and nothing was filled, my oil light was not turned off. they did not know how to turn it off. So I had to sit in the parking lot and Google how to do it myself they also put down the wrong mileage for my vehicle now it shows that my vehicle has over 20,000 miles more than it does on the carfax report. And they still charged me full price after arguing for 30 more minutes they did a partial refund but it does not cover the time I lost and im going to lose dealing with the issues they created. Ive been trying to get a hold of the manager David who was supposed to call me back after 48 hours from the 17th still haven't heard anything. the customer service rep at 1-800 at Walmart basically forced the acc manager to give me a partial refund. This was ridiculous. Took almost 3 1/2 hours for a 30 minute oil change.

Waited over 2 hours for my appointment for 2 tires. The next morning I happened to notice that they stripped all of my lug nuts. Still waiting to see if they will fix the issue but I can not get a hold of anyone at the store.

Terrible. How come a tire Center do not have equipment to fit 21 inch wheels. I had the tires shipped to this Center but they couldn t install because of the silly reason mentioned above. Any local shop would be better than this one. If possible zero stars.

Had my battery replaced and later realized they charged a $12 fee which should have not been charged because they kept my old battery. Service was fast and I have had no issues since. Reason for the 2 stars is because of the $12 fee. If I need to use this location again, will definitely look at my receipt prior to leaving.

I had hot new tires, but when I tried to call the center for tire rotation, I couldn't get hold of anyone, I have been calling for 3 days no answer.

Sterling Heights Van Dyke location -Absolute worst- Unethical, dishonest, poorly trained, terrible customer service and DANGEROUS!I ordered tires and scheduled an install at this location. I get there 20 min before the scheduled appointment and they tell me that "I" cancelled the appointment which I never did and my name was even on the board! they finally got someone in about 30 minutes after my appointment time and "installed" the tires. When I went to pick it up they said that the RF tire didn't have a pressure sensing unit in it and tried to send me out without this important safety device that was ABSOLUTELY in the wheel when when I dropped off my vehicle. I literally had to threaten them with legal action before they would install the sensor that they broke, lost, or whatever, then made it sound like they were doing ME a favor by not charging me $26 for the sensor.After leaving, I noticed a low speed vibration that turned in to a moderate to severe vibration at highway speeds.Since none of the WalMart Auto Service centers answer their phone, I have to schedule another day off work to get the tires balanced. Upon inspecting the wheels, there were new weights on top of old weights and it literally looked like garbage. Not only did they fail to properly balance the tires, they didn't even remove the old weights and just added a bunch of additional weight.I will be filing a formal complaint to the State of Michigan regarding this!!Services: Tires, Auto tire replacement

Great Service Everytime! Never more than an hour wait time for completion. Helpful hint: if you are in a hurry, go in when they first open instead of complaining about wait times because you chose to go in when there is already a que of cars in line.....Services: Tires, Oil changeServices: Tires, Oil change

I've always enjoyed going here with ALL my vehicles, usually have no problems. This time the person who wrote up my vehicle, asked me to select what type of oil I wanted, I simply advised I want the same thing that's in there, he advised that some vehicles require more than five quarts of oil and wanted to assure I was aware that I'd be responsible for any additional cost, he suggested both these details twice, I didn't respond to the second statement. I've NEVER required more than what was covered... this time of course, I was billed for two additional quarts and on my sticker he indicated customer selected for the type (weight/ synthetic or not) so when I asked what was put in there, they looked at me like I was crazy, I then stated/ asked... there was an oil change correct, she looked at the paperwork and said yes... keep in mind, my information is in the system, there's usually a consultation with customers who aren't aware what type of oil is recommended for their vehicles... geez... customer service should be seamless, I don't require much. I get places are short staff and money is "needed" some things should just be.

This is the worst auto care center! They never answer their phone and they are slow as molasses at the service counter. A customer yesterday walked away ticked off because he was told they had something he needed in stock and he got there and they don't have it. They now close for lunch from 12-1. What other mechanics closes for lunch? None of the other walmart auto centers close for lunch. I had to drop my battery off to get tested and no one called me and now they wont answer the phone. Spoke to someone at another walmart auto care center and they even knew that this location doesnt answer their phone. Went to get tire replaced a couple weeks ago and it was going to be a 2 hour wait. They dont even have a waiting area. Never ever using this place again.

Great service, I purchased two tires and I was informed that it would take 3 hours before my service would be completed. They were done with my vehicle in 90 minutes and the tires looked great. I will recommend this location to anyone that needs to purchase tires, the prices are affordable and they will get you serviced as quickly as possible.

Came here once for an oil change last summer, and the line was long and wasn't moving, so I went somewhere else. Then I decided to try again today, I got helped pretty quickly and was told there was 2 cars ahead of me and it would be a 30-40 minute wait. I have been here for 2hrs now and can still see my car on the lift. However, it doesn't seem to matter since the line of people waiting to get helped is 15 people deep, and after 20 minutes the same guy still hasn't been helped. So, bad experience, never again.

12 mile Van Dyke is the best for Tire change! Super friendly and caring. Went to the one one 14 mile horrible service waited long hours. Has major major atittude No smile. This place however took care of me fast and within 40 minutes! Go here 12 and van Dyke is the spot!

I ordered my tire online and was told it would be ready same day. 6 hours after ordering i go to the store only to be told it would not be ready that day. I need the tire to get to work and the tire was in stock in store in the lobby on the rack. They refused to install or give me the tire until the order processed. I had to go online and refund my money and go to bell tire last minute. Next time i will go to a reputable tire center. Dont go here they are rude and lack common sense. They actually told me if i refund the online order and pay them at the register then they could have my tire installed in less than half hour since the tire was right there. Horrible experience

Horrible the technician Maurice never wants to work, he takes his time getting your information! On top of that they did not change the light right ,had to go back in and check the light and they changed the wrong one, this place u have to check to make sure they did the oil change because the last time they signed off they did and my car had NO oil! They lied to you about the wait time too..they will tell u a longer than it really is! Will NEVER go back, tried to give them a second chance but NEVER again! I forgot to mention the first time I took my car here I found out today they used the wrong oil! Which would explain a lot things!

They don't seem to honor warranty products that they sell you the product is not sold at all stores so if you buy tires for instance all of them doesn't carry your tire size so you constantly have to go back to the original store you purchased the tires from which can be an inconvenient if it's not near you due to gas prices so I was kind of unsatisfied

Took two hrs to put in a new battery. Got my car 4 hrs later after I called to see why is it not done. However noone ever called to inform me it was done. My mom idea to come here. I dont even shop her. Customer service and 2 hr battery change mechanics are trash.

The absolute worst customer service EVER! We waited over 20 minutes for someone to help us. The man helping my mom woth questions about tires was so unprofessional and rude. I will absolutely go out of my way to a different service center. I have never been treated so TERRIBLE

Don't understand where all the hate is coming from. Sure the staff quality can vary, but they always seem kind and professional. I got 4 douglass tires for my 2004 honda civic for like $200 bucks a year ago and they are still going strong. They also come with lifetime rotations and wheel balancing. I usually get the pit crew oil change for $20 along with the rotations/balancing for free, so it is a deal. Only issue is that it sometimes takes a while depending on the amount of people, but I usually just shop around for an hour or 2 and they are done by then.P.S. you can check out here but they don't have a weighing scale for fruit

Horrible customer service. Incoming calls take priority over customers in line. Product availability is an issue. I wouldn't have minded paying 5 dollars more for the more expensive oil had the worker had better customer care skills.

This place is terrible. Always hours spent waiting to talk to someone at the counter. Everyone is inexperienced. They leave grease all over the interior of your vehicle. No sense of urgency. Worst service I have received from anyone anywhere..... ever. If I could give negative stars I would

Mechanic complained why I had two lock nuts per tire. To not work on my SUV said their impact wouldn't lossen the nuts to see if I go away, never coming here again.

This here place ("Tire Department") is a total joke.I purchased (4) tires from Walmart online on July 17, 2018. These tires was suppose to be available on Wednesday July 18, 2018. But, they didn't get them until July 19, 2018. And Walmart online sent the tires to this store Auto Department for them to put them on my car. On September 5, 2018, one of the tires had a bubble on the inside of the tire and it blewout, within (49) days from date of purchases.I took this tire back to the Auto Department and was told that I didn't buy the store warranty and I had to call the manufacturer of the tire, for a manufacturer warranty. Upon contacting the manufacturer, I was told to re-contact Walmart Auto Department to have them to do the warranty. Walmart Auto Department, said that they still want do it.Well, it's the end of March 2019, and still NO new tire as of to date.This is a bunch of B.S.So, Buyer Beware of Walmart's Auto Department, and ALL of their Company Warranties.

I show up and wait my turn for them to finish taking care of a customer, 10 mins in another guy shows up and places a battery on the counter, the employee finishes 5 mins later and leaves for another 5 mins, then comes back and tells me that the guy with the battery who was gone for about 10-15 mins looking for a battery to buy was there first and that he was just gone cause he was looking for a battery to buy pathetic even for Walmart's standards
