I wanted to surprise my Dad with tints on his truck for his Birthday (on Labor Day weekend of all times but it was the only time I could sneak his truck away) and Golden Star was the ONLY shop in Metro Detroit who could help me out. I drove an hour to get to the shop and it was very worth every minute of the travel time! You know you are dealing with a top notch tint shop when you ask about ceramic tint and you find out they ONLY use ceramic tints.Daniella was awesome, the staff were great, their German Shepherds were such good pups... and they were so freakin' fast! I barely had time to go grab a drink and a snack from the attached gas station and they were done! They also have a great seating area outside to chill while you wait. Cannot recommend this place enough. I would give Golden Stars Auto Glass more stars if I could. I'll be definitely be coming back.

Excellent!!! Very responsive, very welcoming, and very professional work, no issues whatsoever. In fact, they'd gone ahead further to accommodate an additional issue that I was having! Very friendly crew, quick job, good availability, nice coffee. The office is a bit small but don't let it deter you from getting your auto glass worked on! I had intended to come here once before, when my windshield was broken, but could not make the drive. Thankfully when there was a second wind this was the simplest, easiest, and closest place I could have gone! 10/10 would come again.

Their windshield replacement is quick as sick. Only took me about half an hour from drop-off to checkout. They found some rust under old windshield by previous replacement mistake and sand it then prime. Also decent price and very impressive. Only thing I need to take care of is some glue left on paint but I understand since it s a Saturday near closing time. Would come next time when I need anything related to glass/tint.

It s the beautiful month of Christmas so I decided to give myself with tending my 2002 Dodge Durango and I ve heard nothing but good things about Golden star so I walked in today and the most beautiful professional Daniela helped me out a lot and explained everything to me about TINTS and she was very pretty as well I definitely recommend everyone quality!! Daianelle text me lol :) and Ray the owner was the best definitely bringing my car and referring people 10/10

Got couple of my family cars tinted there and windshields replacement as well prices are very reasonable compared to the amazing job they do honestly. Very great people with an outstanding customer service been going there for years. Had roof glass replaced. Terrible work! Wind noise that wasn't there before. Also left a lot of glass in my headliner when they were supposed to clean it out. Was told I had to pay cash at the last minute because their machine was down. Terrible experience

Golden star auto glass was amazing! I have a 2021 Bronco wildtrak sas edition. I got all around tint. I needed it to be done at a certain time they dropped everything to help my husband and me. The work is impeccable and at a very fair price.I absolutely recommend

Hands down the best place to get your windows tinted! Ray and his team worked hard to get my car in and tinted out, very honest, fast and professional and the quality of their work shows!! Awesome customer service and will definitely be back! These guys are top notch!

I had Ray and his crew tint my windshield 35% on my G35. They did an amazing job there were bubbles left on it but after 2-3 days all gone and now its clear as day. Will be coming back real soon. 100% recommend this place, they won't let you down

These guys were great. Replaced my back window and tinted the whole car. Way better pricing then Ziebart/ Safelite. Not to mention it's a 1 stop shop. A hidden gem. They're tucked away in a strip mall. Worth checking out of you need glass replaced or window tint.

I went here to have a shattered window replaced and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The price was very reasonable and the owner was very friendly and courteous as well. This is an excellent auto shop to visit, especially if you re in a rush. I left here very satisfied with my service.

Don't go to this place!! I had my windows tinted at 35% all the way around but when I picked up my car I noticed it wasn't as dark as I that it would. I just thought maybe it was just me or something. About 6 months down the road my passenger window was broken into. I bought some 35% tint from autozone and tinted my new glass. I noticed that the tint I bought was a little darker then the one this place had done. I then realize that they had tinted my windows with 40% instead of 35%. This was my experience with this place so if you chose to go there please see if it's the percentage that you want.

you just got a new car and you need your windows tinted? Don't even waste time and look around for a place, just come to Golden Star. The most talent and the best prices. you'll thank me later, I've brought 3 cars here to be tinted and the work was done beautifully.

They were very nice and respectable. They even glued my side mirror back on my car that i had duct taped in place. They took about an hour which was awesome and they were pretty reasonable with the cost. My front windshield looks amazing. Thanks guys. I would deff. Tell others to come here.

One of the worst experiences with an auto glass tinter I've ever had. The job didn't turn out great but by no means was it god aweful. I bring the car to show where it didn't look good and instaid of offering to fix it he says he'll refund me and remove it but not the glue. How doesn't remove everything!? He tells me to show up another day to remove them and when I show up, he isn't even there! Another employee Asked me to come back 4 days later so I did with my tints already removed. I show him the receipt and he says he doesn't care about my receipt and refuses to give me a refund as originally promised. I wouldn't not recommend anyone coming here unless you like the corners of your tinted windows pealing and your tints looking like a night sky except the scars are dirt and air bubbles.

Took about 15 minutes, fixed chipped windshield right in parking lot!Great work only $40 everyone else wanted $50 and up!! Highly recommend

My driver side glass was broke. It was Sunday afternoon. This was the only place that was open. They fixed my window, and I also got my windows tinted. Very nice people.. He even took the time out to clean all the broken class that was in my car!!

Gave me a great price when I needed my windshield replaced. They also do an incredible job when it comes to tinting windows.
