Called in the morning about getting my truck in for a brake line replacement. I had AAA get in there before noon, and the truck was ready by 4 pm. Great people, great service, and a fair price. I'm very happy. Ty

Kent is a Magician! He makes the biggest problems disappear!I called at 4:30 with a truck dead in the water, after a quick tow and less than 2 hours later - FIXED!Not having your vehicle is SUCH an inconvenience and Kent and Karen do everything to get you back on the road.Services: Electrical repair, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Battery

Got a used car inspected there. Mechanic is a little "rough around the edges", but he knows a ton about cars and he is brutally honest. Prevented me from wasting my money on a rust bucket. $40 well spent!

I thought for sure I needed new brakes. Super loud and squeaky. Come to find out there was plenty of life left in the pads. The guys were honest and told me no work needed to be done and to have a good day. Just need a really good wash.

My Cadillac broke down at 3am going to work. Had it towed to Hometown Repair as I had to choose quickly or lose tow truck at scene. Super glad I did, they were swamped and he put me in and had me out by 9:30 am. Put in a new alternator and battery. He didn't have to do that as he was super busy. But, he took great care of this old vet..Appreciate.

I wish there were more auto shops like this one. I live in Grand Rapids, but I plan to go here if I can make the trip out. I received advice I didn't ask for, but definitely needed to hear. Have a conversation with Kent and you won't be disappointed. He is full of knowledge and absolutely entertaining. After the incredible service, honesty in diagnosis, fast turn-around, and fair prices.... I can't believe I ever let the dealership in GH touch my truck! I just want a mechanic I can trust and Hometown has earned that. They have a great reputation for a reason.

I have always received up front, fair and honest communication. The many car problems I have had over the last 20 years have always been well taken care of. This auto repair facility is well kept and has a welcoming environment. They stand by there work here and do a high quality job.

Work was completed expertly. Mechanic was knowledgeable and explained all options. I was a little bummed that the problem was worse than I anticipated, but I felt very confident that I made the right decision in taking my car to Hometown Auto Repair. The car repaired was a 1998 Corvette Convertible. I believe they're a small shop, so set your timing expectations accordingly.

Bob and Sherron Collins: We have had our car serviced there for years and they have always done good work and careful in explaining any issues that they see. I have just asked for a check over of my vehicles before a long trip and they have done a good going over and never "made up" work or over charged.

I'm fairly new to the area and wasn't sure where to take my car when it was in need of repair. Lucky for me I picked right place. Karen is a sweetheart!! They could easily have done work on my car that wasn't necessary as the problem we thought it was turned out to be something else. Honesty and integrity with great customer service!! I highly recommend Hometown Auto!!

Vacationing at PJ Hoffmaster State Park when our vehicle developed a problem with a recently replaced part. We were over 150 miles from home and did not know the area. Rangers at PJ Hoffmaster refered us to a few facilities. We called them all and only Hometown Auto Repair said they could get us in. We drove there and waited less than 15 minutes before our issue was pin-pointed and we were repaired. We were happy to be rolling again within 1.5 hours after arriving at Hometown Auto Repair. The Staff was very friendly and the facility was professionally equipped and clean. We were welcomed and made to feel like we were long time customers instead of tourists. The cost of the repair was very reasonable and appreciated. Would recommend to all and anyone. Thankyou Hometown Auto Repair, you are on our Christmas Card List.Rick & Cathy

I requested an estimate, wasn't able to get one due to the many factors involved. I was told they wouldn't do work without letting me know first. Never received an estimate, work was completed and un-needed repairs were also performed without my knowing(oil change, wiper blades), and was told the total over the phone. They "removed" the un-needed work, but still ended up charging me more than the original total which included that additional work. Work was done well and ahead of schedule, staff was friendly.

Absolutely ecstatic about the service I received here. I thought my car was a goner. They towed it their shop, fixed it, and I drove away all in the same afternoon before a holiday weekend. Great people and service!
