Yes, had a y pipe put on there on my 2015 Explorer 3.5 $620 couple weeks later went back because there was a small exhaust leak. They took it in put it on the rack then they come back and tell me that it s a cracked manifold Price about 1750 parts and labor so I passed on that went to get a lower control arm put on at a different shop asked him to look at the exhaust turned out it was not a crack manifold and it was a $15 gasket that they should ve replaced when they put the y pipe on Will never ever go back there again and everybody I know I will tell them never to do any business with that place on Trenton Road and Eureka in Southgate they tried to rip me off almost $1800. Just let everybody know stay away from top value, muffler.

Had issues with a thermostat, so they changed it. Two hoses later and a online cupon for $50.00 later the bill was $900.00. I'm not sure if labor prices have skyrocketed because I know the parts are about $100.00...

Very expensive. For the work that was performed. Not sure if I'll be a returning customer.Update ..... 600 dollars for a break caliper and brake hose you guys are on Crack. Then charged 110 dollars to remove a "stripped banjo bolt" that know for a fact wasn't stripped BEWARE they rip people off. Update a month an half later getting tires they had to melt my lug off one of the studs. The side you guys worked on. whoever worked on my 07 expedition it was my dad's truck so it was in his name. I will never recommend anyone to come here ever.

This is my go-to place! Integrity and honesty runs in the veins of this shop and I couldn't speak more highly of Chad. Not only will they go out of their way to tell you what's wrong with your vehicle, they will also research your problem and find alternative solutions if applicable. Chad is beyond personable and has always been a pleasure to talk to. Top value is great! Chad makes it better. As long as he's around, I'll keep coming back. Vehicle repairs are never fun, cheap, or easy. That being said, Top Value does the best that they can to make it as affordable and painless as possible. I went there because I knew that I needed several things taken care of (a/c, brakes, shocks, etc). Chad, the manager, was very friendly and helpful, and to my surprise I received a phone call within just a matter of hours telling me what needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. Within just another couple of hours I got a call telling me that it was all done. I picked my vehicle up the same day! After a few months, the blower for my a/c stopped working again. I was a bit frustrated and assumed that they didn t fix it right. I was wrong. It was a defective part and they replaced it completely free of charge .and once again I had my vehicle back within just a few hours! Unlike many mechanic shops, Top Value is clean and organized, the staff is friendly and helpful, and they do the repairs good and fast! I highly recommend Chad and his staff at the Southgate Top Value for all of your auto repair needs!

My new place for car needs! The manager, Chad was very personable and informative. He was able to get my car in right away and it was done same day. He explained exactly what was wrong with my car in a way that was easy to understand and not at all intimidating. He was honest about the price and gave me options. 10/10, will recommend.

Definitely worth more than 5 stars!! This was my first time going to Top Value. From the Manager Chad to his employees, nothing but 110% satisfaction. They definitely went above and beyond helping me fix my issues. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and fair priced. Your hospitality speaks volume. In my experience, these guys are hard to beat. Mario, the manager, and the techs I have met through the years are knowledgeable and sincere. They do a good job of diagnosing the problem and getting the job done in a timely fashion. I've taken both American made and foreign brand vehicles to them for service and have been pleased with the results on each. I have always felt that they have been honest about the repairs and the prices seem fair so I really can't see any reason to go anywhere else.

I highly recommend Top Value, Mario and his crew are very knowledgeable and professional. They have serviced my 2 vehicles for several years and no matter the problem they figure it out and fix it. They show concern of your time table and financial situation and Mario makes it happen to the best of his ability. A big thanks to these guys for being so honest!

I received excellent service from Mario and David. I had my exhaust flex pipe replaced in September and Mario was very knowledgeable and made provisions when my part wasn't available. David gave me a ride to the movies while I waited to have my SUV repaired. Best auto shop around.

Top Value will always be one of my favorite service locations. I ve truly been going here for over 8 years with 3 vehicles in the process. My Ford Explorer sports trac, Kia Soul & currently my 2017 Ford Fusion. As you can imagine I ve had all types of work done from brakes, alternator, etc. Up until my most recent brake work, they were 5 stars. The work, customer service, great price, effort to get it right and Chad being the dopest all are reasons why. I had to give them only 3 stars because of my recent brake work that was attempted to fixed 3 times. I got my brakes and rotors replaced but I still have a squeak that has gotten quieter each corrective visit but it still persist. I believe they ve exhausted all possibilities but I ll have to possibly get it viewed by another as a result. It sucks but maybe it s time I make a change. No reflection of them but it maybe the smart thing to start taking to dealer to get fixed.

Had my car towed here after work on a Wednesday because my brakes went out. I got a call early Thursday morning with what happened, what was needed and the quote. They had to fix 4 of the 7 brake lines, calipers, rotors and pads. They had my car ready for me by 5pm. The guys are very nice and Mario is great. I can't thank them enough!

re-did basically my whole front end, fixed my brakes and several other problems with my car in an afternoons notice for reasonable labor costs. good warranty and quick work... just wish they did tire alignmentsEdit: they offered to pay to have my front end aligned at a tire shop... great service from the guys at Top Value!

Overpriced and unreasonable. I went to Top Value for an estimate to install a drivers side seat belt. I had already bought the part and just needed installation. I dropped my car off and was told by Mario that it would be a couple hours worth of work quoting me $95/hr for labor. I called around to a few different places a and had it done in 30 minutes for $40.Not to mention, when I went back to pick up my vehicle from Top Value, they mistakenly charged me $300 for work on a different vehicle. Now, I have to wait a week before getting $300 reimbursed back into my bank account. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE

I would give them a million stars if I could!!! These guys are THE ABSOLUTE BEST.!!! Mario went and got my part himself so I didn t have to wait longer, gave my daughter snacks while we waited. Very Knowledgable. Will give you the best price possible. Great people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Took my daughters Pontiac G6 to top value in Southgate to have the muffler replaced. I was greeted by Mario extremely fast he looked at her car and called me about 15 minutes later with the quote for repairs, price was great so I told him to go ahead and complete the work. The work was done in a couple of hours and my daughter was back on the road with a factory quiet vehicle. Thanks Mario we will be back for any future repairs.

Manager was able to get my vehicle in and looked at while I waited and then called and told me the estimate and that it could be done that day. (Received a response from Top Value that they were teying to get 5 stars vice 4 and I must say that based on the helpfulness and forthright honesty I experienced they do deserve 5!)

Chad and his guys always look out for me. They take time to listen, inspect the issue or concern and even when everything checks out if you are concerned or have a question about anything this crew is eager to ensure that all is right.

Mario and his crew fixed up my Camaro that had been mothballed for 12 years. It is now up and running like a champ. Very quick with the work, knowledgeable and prices about what I had researched. The plus was all the little extras and care they did for my car. They will be doing all future work on it.

Went to Top Value a couple of days ago thinking my daughter need a rear wiper motor. They got the wipers working at no charge. They could have charged me for a motor but were honest and didnt there was just a wire loose. Mario and his mechanics are great. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a honest machanic. Will definitely go back for future repairs!

After being turned away from several other local places, including auto zone where I bought the battery (bc it was raining ) top value installed it for me and fit me in immediately. They were willing to help me in a pinch and that is great customer service! I will be back and also recommend this place to friends and family for work in the future. Excellent!

I walked in like a dog with my tail between my legs. I still haven't learned my lesson. Bring my car here to get it fixed. It's like coloring your hair at home, messing it up and then going to your hair stylist to fix it!!After multiple visits to other shops, and $500.00 + invested, that "noise" (rattle rattle ping ping clunk clunk) was stilling coming from under my car. I walked in and Mario was so very nice. He always has been. I explained the chain of events that took place and what had been done to my car. I was a mess. Mario had a very calm and professional way of dealing with me and assuring me that everything was going to be okay. First thing that I worry about is money. How much more am I going to put into this 2006 Fusion? Hours later, I get the call from Mario. Thinking the worst and hoping for the best he delivered the news. Some of the hardware, was loose/missing from whomever did my brakes. He pulled off both tires, brakes, rotors, greased them, replaced hardware etc. and his cost was VERY affordable. So, if you are looking for an honest mechanic with reasonable pricing, please see Mario.

We have been dealing with Mario and Top Value Southgate for years. Always honest and gets the job done. We have 5 cars in the house and trust then with all of them. Will continue to use them as long as possible. Highly recommend these guys!

I had been going here for yrs nd because of a bad experience went somewhere else. I had been told my spark plugs and wires needed to be changed so I went to a Top Value closer to my home. That was a big mistake after sitting around for 2 hours the shop closer to home stated that they couldn't have my car done even though I made it very clear I needed my car done by close. And after they said they could not have my car done and all they did was look at it and tried to diagnose the problem and even that was wrong they charged me even though their sign states free estimates.Anyhow called the Southgate location and asked for a price on the repairs and with the diagnose I was told by the Flat Rock location and Mario said bring it in and let me look at it and I wont charge you.Come to find out I had a cracked vacuum line repaired and back on the road in an hour.Mario and his crew rock.
