I recently purchased a new Honda CRV from Southgate Honda. Corey Berge, my sales consultant, was AWESOME. He was very knowledgeable, professional, helpful, patient, and kind. It was a pleasure to work with him and I would highly recommend him.

I went to change the oil at this place to my CRV. I think they left the Front Engine Splash Shield not well tightened or didn't put all screws then, It has fallen while I was driving on the high way travelling to Texas. I contacted them ( Cody ) through a friend of mine and He was very supportive. He gave me another one. I'd advise everybody who will do oil change to check on your car before your leave the service center to make sure the oil has been changed the splash is well tightened with all the screws in it. the tire rotation is done and all the services listed in the report are perfect.Thanks Cody for your help.

I usually have good service especially with Sami but he wasn t there and they really dropped the ball this time. I called Tuesday to see if they had a tire since I had a flat and I have the rim and tire package. The guy said his system was down but he was going to go and take a look. He said that they did have a tire in stock there and that I could come right over and they would take care of it for me. I got there 10 minutes later and sat there for almost 2 hours just for them to tell me oh yeah sorry we don t have one and we have to order it and will call you tomorrow morning when it comes in and it s $209.00. They never even put my info into the computer. I called at noon and left a message and didn t hear anything back so I called again at 3:30 and was told that the tire was never ordered because again the system was down and that he would just go ahead and order it right now. so had I not have called to ask, it never would have gotten ordered. I ve been driving around with the donut on since early Tuesday morning and now can t get it off until Friday.

Sammy the service advisor did an awesome job taking care of my vehicle. When I had my CRV in for an oil change Sammy noticed my sun visor was broken. He told me he ordered the part and would let me know when the part was in and have me back to fix it. When I returned I was in and out in less than 1/2 hour with a new visor which I kept forgetting to get replaced. My oil change service went very quick at my first service visit. I also had to have a replacement key fob made. Great job and great experience Sammy and Genthe Honda.Service: Oil change

Sammy was great! We called in the morning to see if we could bring our CVS Touring in for an oil change. He was very accommodating and said to bring it in anytime! We dropped it off, it was done at just the time he told us to come back, and he gave us a quick run down of everything. The car had paper on the seats and floor, so it was as clean as we left it. They are really making some positive changes here. Now the service number brings you to a receptionist in the department that takes your information and schedules your appointment, instead of a centralized call center that directs you to the service dept where you may or may not get through. We were able to get a same day appointment for oil change and other recommended service as well as a nail in a tire. We waited in the lobby and the service manager Sami offered my toddler a donut and made sure to keep us updated on the status of our vehicle. We were in and out quickly. Outstanding service and very reasonable price every time I have gone to Genthe with an issue. This last time, they didn't charge me anything for an inspection of my 2012 Honda Fit when I thought there was a problem, even though they spent 45 minutes going over everything!I have decided not to "mess" around with any other car repair service. The staff are friendly and respectful and highly qualified. It also helps that the waiting area is plenty large and pleasant with free drinks!Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Overall I am displeased with the service I received during a recent visit at Genthe Honda.My wife took our CRV to get the door lock fixed for an appointment. The service person took it upon themselves to diagnose and immediately talk to the technician to look at it for an additional service. When the person came in to explain the new problem, (with which we were not coming in) my wife listened and did not give explicit permission for the additional service, and signed no agreement at that time.The service person ordered parts for a new service unbeknownst to my wife.At time of check out my wife was notified she was paying for both services, and was not allowed to leave without cashing out. She was told only one service would be completed that day.My wife had NO CHOICE to pay an additional UNAPPROVED $1200 and had to sign AFTER parts were ordered to agree to the additional service or was told the dealership would keep our car if we didn t pay right then.Services: Electrical repair, Auto exhaust system repair, Electrical

I got a flat on my tire side wall on Friday, the Honda dealership is closed on the weekends but something was telling me to wait until Monday to go there, I didn't listen and shopped around first for a new tire, everyone was so expensive. Monday came and service manager Sam was there, he beat all the other prices I was quoted from tire stores and a different Honda dealership. He is a very nice guy and has always looked out for me and always went an extra step in customer service. Paid for an oil change and tire rotation and total inspection prior to a road trip. Got about 50 miles from the dealer when the low tire pressure light came on. I figured that they may have forgot to run the tire calibration program after the rotation, so I pulled over and ran it. Got about another 10 miles when the light came on. It turned out that the right front tire was low. My first thought was I had a slow leak and I was seriously bummed because we had just started a road trip. I added air and the light has not come on again and it's been two weeks. So you have to ask, what else wasn't done during the service. I always go to a dealer for service because usually you get piece of mind for the higher service charges versus a local service shop. This was not the case with Genthe. I think what forced me to write this review was the phone call I received from Genthe. They tried to blame the issue on me that I hit a pot hole, etc. As far as I'm concerned not very good customer satisfaction.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Thank you for accommodating me same day appointment. I love Genthe Honda, over the weekend my engine cover- Skid plate cracked in two places and was dragging underneath the vehicle making the vehicle inoperable.I called Genthe and spoke to Lauren, she was able to get my appointment same day. Sami the Service Technician / Manager is amazing. I take the time to drive my vehicle 30 minutes to Genthe (which isn t even the dealership my car was originally leased from) just because I know the quality service I m going to receive from Sami and his team. They go above and beyond and have great communication the entire time they have your vehicle. If you re considering getting anything done for your vehicle, I recommend taking it here. I purchased my Honda at this dealership and have been using them for oil changes and recall work for years! They have always been very professional, honest and courteous and do great work! Went in for oil and filter change plus tire rotation. Technician found a nail in one of the tires and repaired it. Whole process took about a half hour. A lot of people coming in for service that day so I was impressed. Unfortunately I found a coupon for what I had done at home after I paid. I had my oil changed on Friday and they gave me a paper quote for $610 before tax to get two tires and my front brakes done, but when I called today to order the parts, I was quoted over $1000. Funny how the price went up over $300 in just a few days.

I took my Acura MDX in for a code 126 differential, oil change, tire rotation and battery replacement. After paying over $500 for the service and driving; My car started making a loud noise. I returned the car to the service department to be looked at due to the noise. When I returned to pick-up my car I was informed by the service manager that the wrong replacement differential fluid was added, which caused the loud noise. Adding the wrong fluid could have caused major damage to my car. The service manager told me there was no damage. However, I will continue to monitor my car for noise related to the differential. I will never take my car to Genthe Honda again to be serviced!Services: Auto battery replacement, Tire rotations, Oil change

I was quoted one price for a transmission fluid drain and refill ($160) but with final price was much higher ($236). They had taken off $60 to compensate the difference but it still was more than what was quoted and on top of that, I had a 10% discount on a service which was not applied. When I asked, they said they gave me the wrong quote on the price initially because my vehicle needed the higher service but that the $60 was taken off compensate. Also, this dealer service center used to offer a 3 pack oil change which made their price more competitive (still more than the local shop. I get understand, it's a dealer, it will be more) BUT they no longer offer the 3 pack so the price was $65 for an oil change, very pricey. I will say that the service was fast, got the oil change, tire rotation, courtesy inspection and trans fluid work done in under one hour and the shop was very clean.

Made an appointment to diagnose a sound that my CR-V was making, we thought it was possibly the belt tensioner. Was not told about any $125 diagnosis fee when we made the appointment! Was not told about fee when I turned over my keys on the day of the appointment. Had my car for all of 15min before they called to tell me that I needed a new water pump. Told me they would call me back, then never did. We couldn't get anyone on the phone in the Service Department all morning. He also forgot to send a shuttle back to pick me up! When my fianc� finally got someone on the phone in the afternoon he lied and said they had to take my car completely apart to diagnose the sound problem. That's impossible! They had my car all of 15min before they knew exactly what the problem was... Told my fianc� the best that he could do was give me 50% off the diagnosis fee they never even told us about. Offered to refund diagnosis fee if we had repair done within a year. We just needed two quotes, one for the bare minimum repair, the other for the full-service repair where they replace everything the dealer recommends. That's what we asked for. It's very unprofessional, dishonest and misleading to take a person's keys without first disclosing what fees are involved with just looking at their vehicle! Very sad and unfortunate, they did excellent work for me previously on my CR-V. Needles to say I will not be returning for service.Service: General repairs & maintenance
