I absolutely love the Southgate auto center. Every time i have needed something fixed they have went above and beyond to put my mind at ease and resolve the issue. The staff is very friendly and informative. Financing is quick and easy if needed. Honest quotes. Would recommend !

Have been here 3 times now with different vehicles. This place has been consistent in being as honest and up front as possible. Vehicles have been fixed efficiently and quickly! There's no reason for me to look elsewhere when we need auto work done. Very satisfied

We called and they said to bring in our van. They checked it all out and gave us a reasonable price. They fixed it in one day. Friendly staff and great work. We would call them again if needed in the future and would recommend them to our friends.

First & foremost, Mike is the man!! New to the Downriver area & not having a trusted mechanic I started calling around and Mike genuinely seemed like he wanted to help me. I had an emergency months later & Mike was very straightforward about on all things good or bad about my car and in regards to price ,they beat everyone I called in the area. I would recommend them to my family & friends. I can honestly say I have a trusted mechanic/business when needed.

The staff were knowledgeable, quick, and friendly. Customer service techs were able to take me as a walk in and quickly diagnose my issue and provide me a quote. Will use them as my go to instead of the dealer because of the friendliness and affordability.

I wanted to write this review for Southgate Auto Center Good Year. I took in my car and was told it was the timing. My car was fixed beautifully. Mike and Rick were fabulous. They were helpful, understanding, knowledgeable and very nice to work with. I would advise anyone with car concerns to visit Southgate Auto Center. They are terrific. Thank you.

Recently got my front and rear brakes done here. Not only are they efficient but the pricing is reasonable. Very upfront and professional, answered all of my questions and even addressed an additional concern I had.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Terrible shop. They claim their mechanics are properly certified with multiple certification and years of experience. Complete lies. Took my truck up there to get my pin seals replaced. They said they had them replaced. pick my car up and before even drove off a lot I noticed diff fluid leaking all over the place. So I told him the seal was still leaking. He said OK no problem. We ll fix it for you this time. The second time they said they replace it I drove it all the next day diff fluid leaked all over my drive way. So I took it back up there and demanded my money back they made a big deal about. Finally gave me my money back for their poor service. I ended up taking it to Jolly s transmission on ford street. They did both my seals fixed it the first and haven t had a leak since jolly s did the work. I would not recommend this good year they are not mechanics it s a glorified oil change place

Came in for an oil change and general wellness check of the vehicle and was definitely helped out. Not only showed me what the issues I had were but thoroughly explained it as well. Alan was very knowledgeable, nice, I had a lot of things wrong on my vehicle, I came in for a oil change but I did need other work done but the price was reasonable for me the stuff I got fix. I spend less then $1,000.

I had a great experience and love the way my car drives so much smoother. I got 4 new tires and an alignment. The guys behind the counter were so friendly and had a great sense of humor, especially when I razzed them about the A/C being out! I give those men kudos for excellent service! I will definitely be back!

Finally! With over 35 years of experience in the automotive industry (professionally, and personally) I don t trust any auto repair shops and for very good reasons! I finally found an exceptional, professional, honest, great workmanship with outstanding customer service shop, I can honestly say, I actually trust and I am very satisfied. I not only had one vehicle repaired here in the last month, but three and finally, finally, finally, I am one happy customer I can say they are outstanding. Keep up the great work guys. Thank You Joe and Allen!I m from out of town so when my heater core went out at the start of winter I went searching for a dependable mechanic. I went to online reviews for help in choosing a place I felt I could trust. I narrowed it down to three places in the Southgate area then called each one for a quote. Allen answered the call and was friendly and listened to what I thought my car issue was. He gave me a quote and a timeline of how long it would take. When I brought my truck in I checked it in with Joe, who just like Allen, made me feel like I had picked the right shop. They finished my truck ahead of schedule the week of Thanksgiving. When I picked up my truck Joe says bring the truck in before your cross country trip back home so we can look at it and make sure everything is safe for you and your family. It s great when you meet people that care. It s even better when you find a business that cares.To Allen, Joe and the crew at Southgate Auto, a million thanks for your help and hospitality.To anyone reading this, give them a call and follow your instincts, these guys are trustworthy and fair.Sincerely,Roman C.

My car repairs have been a nightmare at a car dealers service department, these guys, all I can say is Thank you to them because they ve helped from the first phone call, they never worked with my warranty company before and they called and had that set up so I didn t have to come completely out of pocket and are doing everything possible to get my vehicle back on the road and it s only been there a few days it was at the other unnamed car dealers shop for 4 months and all they managed to do was break my starter. So make sure you check with these guys for your vehicle needs

I went here after a check engine light came on. The guys up front found the issue and quoted what sounded like a fair price. It took them till closing to finish, but they stuck around after closing so I could come pick up my truck.
