My daughter purchased a Bolt EUV yesterday from Tommy Hamm. Would highly recommend him salesperson if you're in the market for a vehicle.First and foremost? He wasn't pushy like so many salepeople are...he listened, answered questions and helped us sort info making the experience much less stressful.Second? He didn't assume they because we are women that we were coming in with no knowledge. We had done quite a bit of research prior to and work w cars. Often, men will treat us as if we know nothing or like they can pull one over. Not the case here. And the finance Mgr that we worked with was good too.Lastly, we have had one repair done here on a previous car and the staff in the service department are excellent and treat you well. Again..one too many mechanics assume that women think an alternator costs $8k and that is not the case here.Highly recommend!

I brought my vehicle in for service and they kept my vehicle for 5 days and I assumed that the service was completed correctly but I was wrong. I had an alternator installed along with some other services and less than 2 weeks later my car will not start and this is unacceptable. I asked my service advisor do I need a new battery and she explained to me I did not apparently she was wrong take my advice never take your car there for service and on a side note they left my car torn apart and a mess.

I want to give a big thanks to Jalen Neal. He was more than great. I came in looking for a vehicle and i left same day with the vehicle that i loved and wanted the beautiful green chevy trax. He made the process and experience easy and also fun. It was very calming and relaxing experience and I wouldn't have wanted to work with any other person. I plan on recommending all of my friends and family to Jalen. Not only did he have great conversation he was exceptional at his professionalism and efficiency. Please tell Jalen Neal he is one of a kind and all car dealers need a Jalen Neal in there building

The Technician that worked on our car was excellent. He found what another GM dealership on Gratiot in Clinton Township could not find. Issue with the radio/navigation system. I wont be going anywhere else. Thank you so much

He did a very great job assessing my vehicle and finding a solution. I was afraid something terrible would happen to my truck and would have to come out thousands of dollars but he found an affordable way and put my anxiety to rest. Hold on to E! He is the best you guys have!

I was contacted by Mary after showing interest in a 2021 Equinox on the Serra Chevrolet website. Made an appointment to test drive and look at my financing options. I was not expecting to buy a vehicle that evening. I met with Tom Hayes and he let me test drive the Equinox. It was everything I was looking for in a vehicle but was not in my budget. Tom and his sales team were able to work with me and after looking at a few other vehicle options he was able to get me into another pre owned 2021 Equinox that was in my price range. He was friendly and a great salesman. I would highly recommend him and Serra Chevrolet for their excellent service and overall experience.

We ve bought four vehicles from this Serra Chevrolet: a 2023 and 2024 Equinox; a 2023 Bolt EUV and a 2024 EV Blazer.We bought the 2023 Equinox and Bolt EUV from David Samuels. He was deceptive about the terms of our loan. He was nearly impossible to get in touch with after each sale until he found out we interested in buying another vehicle and he could make more money off of us. He lied about getting us a gift card, and refused to do any work to get us the charging credit he said we would get. Furthermore, he made me feel incredibly uncomfortable when I asked to work with another salesman on the next purchase.The 2023 Equinox had a recall and needed warranty work within 6 months. The 2023 Bolt EUV had a recall on the charging cable that didn t have a fix, yet they called us weekly to see why we hadn t brought it in. We traded the Bolt in, but it was also having issues with the wireless charging pad for phones. The 2024 Equinox needed the cooling fan replaced within six weeks. And the 2024 Blazer EV is having infotainment problems. The service department has officially had our vehicle longer than we have. It has been in service 3 times in the last two weeks.While I admit that it s not this dealerships fault that they sell defective products (and honestly, shame on us for buying yet another Chevy), their service department has been lacking too.We personally contacted Chevy EV concierge and were told that Serra was supposed to immediately file a technical ticket on the Blazer and that didn t happen for over a week. We were told the vehicle had been test driven, but we have an app that shows miles on the vehicle and those hadn t changed. It s getting increasingly difficult to get updates on our vehicle and we are met with attitude every time we call to ask about its status. I left a message for the manager to personally call back and he couldn t be bothered to do so.The only reason this review isn t a one star is because of Bill Marx, who is an absolutely amazing salesman.

NEVER BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS PLACE!!! I spent $5,000 on a vehicle that I drove 2.5 hours to pick up. We spoke with someone before we left to come look at vehicles and were told that there was a few different vehicles to chose from in the type of vehicle we wanted. I got there to find out that apparently there was only one vehicle that I could get for my budget, which was NOT what I was informed before I drove so far. I said I was just looking for an A to B car to drive back and forth from to work and that I drive over an hour commute each way so I need a reliable car so I don't have to worry about being broke down in a city so far from home and not really knowing many people to come help. Then a couple months from now The vehicle will be given to my teenage daughter to drive for her first vehicle. The guy assured me that my car only needed new breaks and rotars and the rest of the car is in great condition. I asked if there was anything else he'd suggest that would be more safe and he in better condition and he searched his computer and said the vehicle I bought was the best option. Well two days after I bought the vehicle it started smoking under the hood. I have put another $1,000.00 into this car on top of what I paid and it just broke down because of another issue separate to what has already been fixed. So by the time I finish fixing a 2012 Chevy Cruise, I will have paid $7,000.00 for a vehicle I bought one month ago. I could've spent that money on a more dependable vehicle for that kind of money. Richard Hayes was our car dealer. If he says that this type of car is the best they had for $5,000.00 then I would be cautious about the judgement of this dealership on pricing vehicles and the conditions they are in. This car is junk. He kept making me sign paperwork stating they aren't responsible for any damages and I asked him "are you sure that's the only thing wrong with this vehicle?" And he said "absolutely". I really couldn't even afford the money I put into this but so badly needed a vehicle, I saved up for a while to be able to get something and was so excited to get a vehicle that I didn't just hurry up and buy for $1,000.00 and I am stuck broke with no working vehicle. To know a woman and teenager would be driving this vehicle and so gladly sell it is just crazy to me. I'd go look somewhere else if I were you!

I wish the experience was better with better results, but this is how it is. I went in for an oil change, got up-charged for a tire rotation I probably didn't need, and ask them to check a tire sensor problem I've asked them to check 2 times before. The service person I was assigned then proceeded to tell me that now, since the warranty on my vehicle has expired, it will cost $139 to fix the problem. He then says there is no record of them even looking at the sensor previously. I was charged before to address this issue, but I guess the work was done off the books. Also, this particular person yelled for 2 other customers by just their last name, but when calling for me, used my first name! I generally feel a lack of respect coming to this location. To update, I received a response asking me to call and speak to the owner. When I called, I was informed that he is "UNAVAILABLE " for the entire week. As I previously stated....poor customer service coupled with poor follow up. Go out of your way to get your GM vehicle serviced ANYWHERE else but here.

4.5 StarsWe had a miscommunication in the appointment time, so I spent much longer at the dealership than I had anticipated. But Brandon was wonderful once we got the ball rolling.He was very thorough explaining the financing and warranty options, and overall a friendly, knowledgeable and professional fellow to work with.

I had a great car buying experience with Matt and the Serra Chevrolet team. There was an issue with my vehicle that was identified during the leasing process which the service department was able to identify and ensure that it was fixed in a timely manner. I had a great experience with Patrick and the service department. I am happy with my decision to choose Serra over the other Chevrolet dealerships in my area and look forward to the continued relationship with the Serra Chevrolet team.

He and Nick the Sales Manager went far out of their way to make sure I ended up with a truck that meets my current needs and future plans. In the process, they made a future customer out of me. Bill was fantastic! He listened to what I said were my preferences in my new vehicle and met them. He tried his very best to give me the best lease deal that was available to me. Upon delivery of my vehicle, Bill went over everything about the car and resolved any technical questions or issues I had immediately. I would highly recommend Bill to anyone.

I had no obvious issues with my vehicle when I took it in for a warranty item and a trouble code P0016. I paid almost $200.00 for the inspection of the trouble code. Due to the high cost to resolve the issue and the low trade in value of my vehicle, I decided now to have the work performed. My vehicle is now smoking and exhaust fumes are filling the passenger cabin. Was this done intentionally? I haven t had time to go back to the dealership to waste hours to have them return it to the condition it was in when I took it in.

I just have to come on here and brag about the absolute best service I received at this dealership. I was recently in an accident, super stressed out and needed to get into a new car. I worked with Bill Marx and all I can say is WOW! This man was so wonderful from beginning to end. He is a sales man who cares about his customers. We ve been working together for awhile (I was indecisive) and he kept up with A+ communication throughout the few weeks we worked together. He was available to answer questions, kind and patient. As a single mom going into a huge purchase, he was truly a pleasure to work with. I feel 100% confident and comfortable with my purchase. I will forever refer customers to him and I truly feel like I ve gained a great friend through this process. Bill, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!! I came in for service on my Chevrolet Cruze and he was very professional, thorough, and helpful. I have been coming to this location for years and always received good service but Mr. Bell made the service experience great!

I bought a used car from this dealership 3 weeks ago and was told it just needed a tune up. I took it to my mechanic to do whatever needed to be done and was told it had extensive engine issues that would cost a lot just to diagnose. I informed Serra Chevrolet of this and they that they had never inspected the car and didn't know it had any problems. I offered to exchange the car for another one on the lot, but they couldn't find anything similarly priced. I picked the car up from the mechanic and it died within the week. Had to have it towed home. Now I can't get to work, church, the store or anywhere without asking someone for a ride. Serra says they are "working on it". Meanwhile I'm stranded and can't even go buy another car because my money is wrapped up in this wreck they sold me.

Bobby was awesome from start to finish, came to just look at a truck and he greeted me right away and got me test driving. Didn t try to push anything on me and I had a new truck after a trade in less than 24 hours later. Great experience and love my truck!

Hi I worked with Alexis . She was very helpful . She greeted me as a soon I came in . It was like we were meant to work together . She asked questions to even get me a better deal . She spoke with her manager about my concerns and they were addressed and taking care of . I thought I would drive to other dealerships but I didn t have to. If your in the area ask for Alexis she really does a great job . I love my Ford Edge . I will come back again

Efren was very courteous and helpful, taking my observations down thoroughly. He want out of his way to get back with me very quickly as well once conformation of the problem was made. Communication was very good. As far as I can tell, the repairs were completed successfully, and the vehicle was ready as promised. I've been in the automotive engineering business for 36 years, and worked on cars all my life, so I have some background in these things - and do appreciate when good service is rendered.

I M NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!! They took more than a HOUR to get me back to the shop after I asked for a ride back home (I m less than 10 minutes away).The driver kept telling me 20 minutes and then he had to pick up two other people. He was just making excuses and took his time coming to pick me up. Then they didn t even put the sticker on my car after the oil change. Don t come here if you have something to do and even if you don t they will still take there time. I m not coming here again.
