Came in the store today because my engine light was on and when I entered they immediately greeted me with a smile. The guy at the counter came out to my vehicle and did a check on my engine and printed out my diagnostic report. He was sufficient and helpful. I will definitely go back to this location.

I showed up right at open and the manager was incredibly polite and helpful in helping me diagnose a check engine light many miles from home. Gave me the peace of mind to make sure my family was safe - auto zone has a permanent customer for life.

I don't normally leave so many reviews, but I felt I had to after receiving excellent service here, especially from the store manager, Mr. Hollins. I needed a new battery and bought one and he replaced it for me.He warned me before changing out the battery and said with my particular vehicle that the tie down screw would often break when undoing the tie down on the battery and that's exactly what unfortunately happened.But what happened then blew me away. He tried extremely hard to pry the broken screw out of the mounting hole, going inside and out to grab several different vice grips and then once he determined he couldn't, he went and MacGivver'ed a different tie down to be able to fit my vehicle.Usually when you go to auto parts store, it's just kind of transactional: ok, I'll take that part and pay.Mr. Hollins went above and beyond the call of duty to help me get that battery properly put in. Thank you sir! This is a man who cares about customers, well done.

I give this place 3 stars because the people I ve noticed from first impression they are pretty relaxed and they are much like what you would expect in a normal auto zone. However, I had a fairly unpleasant experience when attempting to apply for a job with one of the managers. I have worked for a dealership as a mechanic for a number of summers along with a job at a store. So I don t mind a boss who is not always in the best mood. But right from the beginning of my interaction with the manager I was surprised when one manager was quite rude to me despite my continues kindness, respect and maturity. I am unsure if the manager perceived me as someone who is immature or unfit for the job but I wish them nothing but the best in finding the right person for there store. But the moral of what I got from my experience I have found is as a customer it is just your average auto zone but as far as being a future employee at this location personally I would recommend a different location

Mr. Cook has exceptional customer service!! I originally was looking to fix my headlight.He notice during the replacement that I was low on coolant..He went through the coolants and the correct one needed for my vehicle..Greatly appreciate your service.

I had a great experience there today. I was in a rush I needed some wiper blades I also didn t know how to install them. The gentleman behind the counter volunteered to install my blades he had them installed within a matter of moments. He was very friendly and professional I would recommend this AutoZone to anyone in need of good service!

The store manager JL was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. If you have a dead battery, look no further. If they can, they will change it as a courtesy. Thank you, will return!

I was irrated, went to get 3/4" hose, they gave me 1/2" hose, came back to get correct size, guy comes back after looking and says we dont have 1/4" hose, i said i wanted 3/4" he just blew me off and said we dont have that either. I had just bought 3/4 hose there not too long ago. Went to oreillys no problem got the correct hose.

They are always helpful when I've needed battery checks/assistance, but make sure you really know what you want when you are going in. I needed a part for my parking brake and they were looking for "break" pads. (My parking brake didn't have pads) If you know what you need, you'll be fine.

Great people and service! Very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful.Someone in my family was having a problem with a battery so I called this location. Darren was very friendly and helpful over the phone. He explained the different batteries that fit our car and suggested we come in for a quick diagnostic.We stopped in a few hours before closing time and were quickly helped. No problems since then - even in zero degree weather.I definitely recommend this store for all automotive problems. Thanks.

This is a very helpful and clean location, even after my windshield wiper was stuck on, Lavelle went back into the store and grabbed some tools to help get the old one off and put the new one on. I appreciate his help and extra time and I will not wait 2 years again to replace my windshield wiper.

Went in this morning after realizing the guard under my car was dragging on the ground, but had no idea what exactly I needed to fix the problem. The two men working listened, went out to my car and tried multiple things while laying on the ground under my car trying fix it. They could have given up and sent me elsewhere but went above and beyond my expectations figuring it out and saving me a ton of money I would have spent at a shop. Such a great experience. Thank you!

I had a fine visit to this Auto Zone Auto Parts store recently. I needed new screws to keep my license plate on the new (used) vehicle I just purchased. The first set I bought was not the right one and I wasn't sure if they would accept for return the package that I had basically torn right through before realizing I had the wrong size. They were very helpful in getting me the right one and swapping them out at the register without trouble. The staff was kind.

Knowledgeable, helpful staff. Safety screens at checkout. Can order online for delivery or pickup. Commonly used items are always in stock. There are usually short lines in the store, so if what you want is on the shelf you will be in and out quickly.

The young boy that was working today was rude and have attitude. I'm your regular client for 3 years! And this boy treated me bad with disrespect.But the other guys are professional and polite have been dealing with them regularly.

They always have just what I need. They are very helpful in addressing my questions and will show me how to apply my purchase or will do it for me. I prefer doing some things myself. Its for my learning experience. AutoZone's prices are reasonable and there is a location near me. The staff is very friendly. We talk about topics unrelated to the store or vehicle when they are not busy. Awesome crew of folks.

Qualified well Informed male and female staff. Willing too listen and come outside too your vehicle ready too serve you as a consumer, customer giving you the most knowledgeable accurate information available . Listen up utilize your area longtime mechanics word of mouth . And if you still prefer too go too a Dealership service by all means go with the knowledge that fits your Pacific mechanical needs. My opinion 12 mile Southfield Auto Zone courtesy diagnostic is a excellent choice. Check them out you'll be left with a peace of mind. Some of these employees are from dealership's at many parts services businesses got tired of the deceit too the consumer customer. In my opinion after asking questions about Auto Zone staff standards and their knowledge I'm comfortable having the knowledge a dealership advisor won't give. Only a astronomical price of labor and part's and charge how long check in just for diagnosis etc.Go visit people the store has so many parts and all the needs too too keep your vehicle's healthy and safe on the roads. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall. Thank you Auto Zone Staff Southfield 12mile location.

It was 5pm. My car overheated . I went in to get coolant. MrF.Bell, the manager helped me fill the coolant. He went above and beyond with a teaching lesson and just making sure I was safe checking my oil as well. In this world of all this fighting and seeming selfish world, MrBell treated me like his daughter and as my dad has passed, it was so appreciated. I thank you for hiring Mr.Bell as he cares about his customers, no matter the skin color. Thank you so much MrBell teaching me paying 20 bucks for coolant now will save you 2000 later for a blown motor .High recommendation

Just had the best customer service at the Southfield location! Purchased a headlight, wiper blades and various fluids. Got installation and replenishing forfree! The manager even cleaned my battery. I am ready for the cold days ahead.
