We were very happy with our first-time experience with Mazur's in April, 2024.Our family van began misfiring on a Monday. We've only lived in the South Lyon area for a couple years and haven't needed the services of an automotive shop, so I didn't know where to go. After looking at reviews on Google I decided to call Mazur's Tuesday morning, fully expecting to schedule an appointment for later in the week and wait for an estimate and repairs. I completely expected that we would be without our van for several days, because that has been my past experience with other repair shops. When I called, Troy told me they could look at our van that day. We dropped off the van around 9:30am. At 10:48 I received a text message indicating that our estimate was ready. It needed a new coil. I quickly reviewed the detailed estimate and approved the work online. At 1:42 I received another text message indicating that the van was ready to be picked up!I have never experienced such expedient service at a repair shop! Troy was kind and courteous.This level of service is uncommon! I will be returning to Mazur's for my future automotive repair needs.

I have a 2012 F150 that I brought in to Mazur's for the first time back in November 2023. The Body Control Module went out on the truck and needed to be replaced. Howard took great care of my truck, the cost of the repair, and made me a customer at Mazur's for life. Anytime I need something done I will be taking my F150 to Mazur's. The staff there is genuine, cares about their customers and the quality of the work done is TOPNOTCH! Thank you to Howard, and his staff for really going the extra mile for making me feel comfortable about where I take my vehicle.

I gave this establishment my business once, and became a lifetime customer based on how they treated me, the professionalism of keeping in contact with updates, and the empathy on the price that they showed for a family of four with a new addition coming soon was unmatched. This place is a throwback to the trusted mechanics who believe in customer service and fair pricing. As long as I live in South Lyon, Howard at Mazurs will be the first person I reach out to for any automotive concerns.

Had a great experience. While my car being broke sucked they explained what they were planning, gave me a fair estimate and a list of repairs explaining what needed to be done immediately and what could wait. Best of all free loaner with a deposit and I was a walk in. My car is a Subaru so I was so happy they could even work on my vehicle most other shops wouldn t even attempt to help me. If you need any car repairs I recommend coming here first.

Excellent shop. They have always been straight with recommendations and estimates for both my vehicles, and have actually not done an anticipated service (brakes) after seeing they didn t need to be done yet. Appreciate the honesty!Having a loaner vehicle is great also so you don t have to sit in the waiting area for a longer service. Will keep going back here. Trust the advisors and service!

We ve taken multiple vehicles to them over the years, and have been happy with the service every time. From the smallest thing like an oil change, to the biggest like major engine work. Great customer service, and great mechanics.

My first time there, I ve been going to the same place for years and wanted to try someone new and I m very happy I did. Went in for a check engine light on a car with over 170,000 miles on it , it was driving bad and making a weird noise under the hood, I really thought they d tell me I needed a new engine but a new belt , front tie rods and some new wires to the battery and I swear it runs like new . New cars are very expensive now , even the used cars are ridiculous so I was happy to hear it wasn t as bad as I thought . Troy was on top of everything, he kept in touch and explained everything and took pictures for me to understand it better , they even sent a link if u wanna watch them while they re working on it! I trust them completely and would recommend anyone who wants to try somewhere new, I ll definitely use them again !Thank you Troy for everything!

This has been the best place I've ever taken a car to be repaired . Everyone was so nice and the place is super convenient . They drove me home and had my car done in one day. Everything was explained and understood and they back their repairs with a warranty . Great job !!!

I take my company vehicle here for its regular maintenance and I'm always met with a friendly employee. Easy to schedule appointments online or over phone. Good prices and excellent service. I'll definitely be bringing my personal vehicle here for its maintenance as well.

I ve taken my car here twice now and appreciate when they do an inspection, the report details out the priority level of repairs. It makes it feel like there is less pressure to fix everything all at once. Very friendly guys and always quick to get my car back.

I have brought my truck here a few times and these guys are amazing! I own a roofing company and need my trucks every day. They knew my urgency and even had an extra guy work on it for me to get it done sooner than I could have expected. My brakes are working great now. Howard was so helpful from opening the door for me before work hours, making my job a priority, texting updates, and being honest with the assessment. They could have tried to sell me things I didn t need, but they did not. I will recommend this honest company to everyone who needs work done!

Love this place.they take care of your vehicle like it is their own. They let you know what work needs to be completed and possible issues in the near future. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. I will be taking my work vehicle here as well as my personal.

I was able to get an appointment within days of requesting it through their simple online booking, which was a plus for me. Everyone is super friendly and professional which is necessary in my eyes when it comes to feeling comfortable leaving your car somewhere to get work done. Their pricing is standard and fair based on what I understand the "going rate" is for the work I had done, and I appreciated the care and prompt work they did.

Very friendly staff and up front about everything your vehicle needs. They give you a very nice, clean loaner vehicle to drive while they re working on your car. I had some pretty extensive work that needed to be done and they had it back to me the same day. Would absolutely recommend to others!

My oil cooler housing unit cracked and leaked oil all over my driveway. Had my truck towed to Mazur s and they were awesome from day 1. They had my truck inspected and quoted 2 hours after opening the next day. The pricing on the parts seemed high at first but they have no issue walking you through a breakdown of the quote and explain that the parts they re using aren t the same parts you re getting from Amazon or auto zone. I had to go out of town for a week while the truck was getting worked on and they had no issues accommodating that, holding onto the truck and getting the work done in a timely fashion and getting along the whole experience they thanked me for my business and wished me safe travels. Overall they made a stressful time of unexpected repairs much more manageable. Highly recommend to anybody in the area

I could ve sworn I left a review ages ago, but apparently did not. Oops.Across the board, five stars. Yes, this place is more expensive than elsewhere, but they treat you well and get the job done RIGHT.Took my 97 Expedition in for a brake repair and a tune up, and it turned out it needed more work than that. However, everything was documented and broken down in a way of priority that I appreciated. They had me back on the road relatively quickly and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER.Big Red doesn t get driven often, less than 5k miles a year, so it takes time for me to notice if things are wrong. Or, in this case, RIGHT. Seriously, she s never ran better. Since the day I got her, she s HATED the cold. Never wanted to start on the first try, you had to use the magic touch for her to cooperate. Now? First try, and she s purring away.Troy, you re a rockstar, along with everyone else who worked on her and had to deal with me.

Mazur has exceeded my expectations each time I ve needed work done on my truck. They take a lot of pride in earning your business. Troy usually takes care of me and he always does his best to make sure I leave the shop as a happy customer. They are my go-to guys when I need something done with my vehicle. Highly recommend this shop and their crew!

Troy was awesome. I went in with a problem cat the end of the day. Drove the car around the parking lot and told me the car wasn t safe to drive. The brakes were frozen. Long story short I was given a loaner and the car was fixed the next day. Troy was very helpful and very upfront with costs. I will definitely be back

My husband and I have taken our vehicles here since we moved to town a few years ago. Mazur s may be a tad more expensive but it s worth it! The efficacy and quality of work is superior. My husband really loves the detailed report they send you with every inspection (pics and videos included)We use them for all of our vehicles maintenance. I ve also had them inspect a car for me prior to purchasing it, that s how trustworthy we find them.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement, Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

Mazur's has treated us very well. We've taken advantage of their very helpful drive home service. They have done some inspection work for us at no charge. Their service is quick and efficient. They are very polite and willing to respond to questions and explain what they will do or have done in the process of caring for our cars. We'll continue to use their service.

I suddenly found myself with 2 dead key fobs. After figuring out how to start the car with the GM hack, I immediately drove to Mazur's in South Lyon. They not only replaced the batteries in both fobs, but didn't charge me anything. Best service center I've ever dealt with. Thank you so much for saving my day.

I took my vehicle in because the battery would drain itself. They tightened connectors and released the vehicle back to me and did not charge me a penny. This a old fashion typical neighborhood garage who thinks customers first

Mazurs South Lyon has taken care of my vehicle since moving to the area. They diligently tested my vehicle even when they could not duplicate the same issue i was experiencing with some electrical issues. They believed me and kept testing to find the cause. Recently they did a clock spring replacement and replaced my Alternator. They updated me every step of the way and provided a break down with photos of the issue. The team at Mazurs is HONEST which is extremely hard to come by. I'm so thankful for Howard and team on their hard work and dedication. I will not take my car anywhere else!!Thank you

It s great to have a trusted source for car and truck repairs. A few days after several services were paid for, I got a call from them stating that they changed and fluid that had been done not long ago. Because they didn t catch that, they called to let me know they were refunding that part of the charge. A business that does this is one I will recommend to allServices: Tires, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance

I always go to Troy at the South Lyon shop.. he takes care of everything so well, goes out of his way to get to make sure your happy and have never been disappointed with any repairs or maintenance they have done! Top notch team there.. won t go anywhere else!
